Toronto "If you must" Data Sheet 2017

I was at the distillery district christmas market tonight, if you want to stop arguing about brown guys getting with white girls and get one for yourself, gotta say it was a pretty target rich environment.

Main reason I wouldn't want to live in Toronto is not really cause of the girls/game situation but more so the city doesn't feel like a home. The most multicultural city in the world with everyone just sticking to their own ethnic groups, Toronto doesn't feel like a home but an assortment of different tribes. NYC and London have way more people and NYC is way more dense then Toronto but these cities feel friendlier for some reason with people more open to interact with people outside their race. London is probably better then NYC cause of the green spaces it has and how it feels more homely but it depends what you want out of a city I guess.

And for those of you that were saying social groups being hard to penetrate after high school/university. This is very true for Toronto but not true at all for NYC, they are on complete opposite sides of the spectrum. Not sure about London so would be nice if someone could chime in on that. But in NYC people are really chasing a good time and new experiences and a large amount of people are open and even looking to meet new people compared to Toronto were people just do a lot of the same boring shit until they die.

Considering moving to NYC sometime or just splitting my time between some Canadian city like Montreal or Vancouver and NYC. That could provide the best of both worlds.

I agree 100% Kadenz. I live in Toronto and have spent significant time in NY. You can pickup in either place but NY is a lot more fun and the people are much more open and friendly. Toronto is very cliquey and as you noted the immigrants tend to self-segregate.

Also, the nightlife and activities in general are on a different level in NY. Toronto’s nightlife is horrible by international standards because of dumb regulations like 2AM closing time. Try going out at 11PM in Toronto. You’ll stand in line even for crappy bars and never get in unless you bribe bouncers.

All that said, if you’re not getting laid in Toronto don’t blame it on the city. You can pickup, it’s just not as fun as most cities of similar size that I have visited.

Coming back from a nice long stay in Colombia so the "Toronto if you must" applies to me. I have a couple of plates back there, and I might only be back for a month, but would rather get back at it as things die down quickly in January. Shoot me a PM. Holidays are busy, but will have some time.

Yep Toronto is just boring compared to other cities, it has no culture. And yeah you can still get laid in Toronto it's not as hard as many people in Toronto say it is. If someone had to live in Toronto though I don't even know what neighborhood I would really recommend them, maybe right next to one of the universities/colleges depending on their age. Place right by Ryerson University could be nice since it's downtown and a lot of the Ryerson dorms are apartments so you could have college girls living right by you.

That has me thinking would living close to colleges in NYC also be one of the best places to live in NYC game wise? If you had a decent bankroll and could afford a bigger $4k+ a month condo/apartment or somehow house close to a college in NYC I think you could kill it especially if you are on the younger side of things. Probably one of the most ideal set ups since girls there will probably be sick of their cramped dorm/living at home.

Anyone here have a set up like that in Toronto or any other city?

Socially everyone is more close to their ethnic group to, Toronto is the main city you will see like a group of 10 Indian people or 10 Asian or something like that walking together with no one else. I know girls fuck outside their ethnicity that's not what I'm talking about. I'm just saying socially Toronto is very segregated and based on ethnicity. It's the most multicultural city in the world but also one of the most segregated. That's why Toronto has such a weird fucked up vibe it's not a melting pot like NYC in Toronto everyone just does their own thing with their own ethnicity it just makes the whole city feel weird.

Toronto is both the most multicultural and the most segregated city. Everyone hangs out with their own ethnic group. in Toronto you have to be part of a certain ethnicity or you will feel left out. Indians only hang out with Indians, same with Asians and other ethnicities. If you don't have an in culturally with some kind of immigrant community you will feel left out. And I wouldn't even want to live like this even if I did have an in with some immigrant community what fun is being around people when you are only around them cause you are the same ethnicity, this is why Toronto is very shallow and people are depressed it's prison mentality were people only really associate with those that look like them. I'm looking for a new city to move to and this is why Toronto isn't really an option for me way to segregated, probably going to go with Montreal since it just has a way better vibe and much happier. I have a slight interest in Vancouver/surrounding area to but we'll see.

Toronto is a great city.
Take down this misogynistic thread before I involve Toronto Police Services.

@TPSOperations one of my students have posted on a sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and anti-woman blog which is owned by a rape advocate.
Can you forward this to Det. Constable Thompson for an investigation?

I can't count how many times I or others I know have approached in a target rich environment and gotten blown off before even getting two sentences in, only to see her wrapped around a white guy later on. This isn't something we say just because. It's said because it's what happens. Such is Toronto.

I like hitting the Annex to game; Maddy and Dance Cave, Gracies always good options for floor game, any place that young 19 year old uni girls go. Wednesday nights would serve you well at Croc Roc.

Dance Cave def gets my vote. Years ago it used to be a corny venue, now it's really blown up. Far from easy, but it's ideal in many ways within a difficult city. That is, if you're up for it, because it is most definitely not everyone's cup of tea - it's a cliquey white/WASP venue through and through. I would place the crowd something in between hipster and frat, not strongly toward one or the other. Expect to hear "Man I Feel Like A Woman" by Shania Twain played ironically once during the Fri & Sat sets. If you're ethnic (Indian, Middle Eastern, etc.) then expect some very harsh 'ethni-jections' to come your way. But if you're willing to bear through that and the cliques you just might land upon a down girl considering the sheer volume of the place.

The last few time I've been to the Madison I found that it had seriously declined. It used to be THE place on Thursdays and was decent on weekends. Now it barely fills up past the dance room and it's hella sausage. Just my thoughts.

Finally as for Croc Rock Wednesdays, you wouldn't think of it while looking at it, but, somehow, it has statistically been the number one place for pulls among everyone I know during the summers of 2016-2018.

^^^I'm on board with the Croc. If you are night gaming, you want to be in an atmosphere that is relaxing and not stuffy. I find this can be the problem with Toronto is that people are stuffy and prudish. A place like Croc Rock is come as you are and you can pull there better than some of the places with door charges.

Going to spend a few days in downtown Toronto just to cross the city off the list. Will try to pickup at the Equinox if all else fails. Felling optimistic, regardless.

The guys complaining about Toronto:

A) need to travel more
B) would get eaten alive in any city

Any well-traveled person you talk to will tell you that Toronto is a world class city that is rich in culture, amenities, and extremely walkable. You have everything in a 1-1.5 mile radius. It’s a logistical paradise, similar to NYC or Chicago for us Americans.

I just spent three days in the T-Dot and daygamed on my final day. The women there weren’t any less friendly, on average, than any other city I’ve gamed in, and I’ve gamed all over the US.

^Spending 3 days in any place, doesn't make you an expert on the place.

Travelling more isn't always a option.

Tough game in Toronto, means anywhere else is usually easier.

If you have game in Toronto, then other places are a walk in the park.

NYC has a much different vibe, I had women approach me and my father who is in his 70s the last time I was there.
