Relatively inexpensive city in the US?

I don't know about "in the city" Philly...it always seemed like a bad male-to-female ratio there.

The good thing about Philly?....nearby South New Jersey and Delaware where there are a lot of bored chicks who basically have sex to pass the time.

My only data point on this is a FWB who is originally from Philly. She claims that men in Philly treat women much better than men in NYC, so I imagine the male:female ratio is higher in Philly than NYC.

Well, you will notice that most dudes in Philly are more "wimpy" and "thirsty" around chicks there. I guess that was my impression. I did not want to compete with that angle....then I found out why parts of Delaware was considered "slower and lower", lol.

A general concern about the Rockies and west. All the single people maps I've seen show a much worse guy:girl ratio once you get as far west as the Rockies, and all the way to the Pacific coast. My guess is that your game needs to be really good out there to do well. Mine is mediocre and I'm not a terribly good looking guy, so bad demographics means an uphill battle for me.

How does the ratio compare in the South?

Those single maps also claim that DC has a great ratio of women to men. We all know that sn't true. LOL. I wouldn't base my decision on those maps.

Good point. Based on the map, you wouldn't expect the difference you see b/w NYC and DC. To G's earlier point, you have to factor in what draws in and keeps the women. Obviously with NY, you get lots of artsy chicks, hipster chicks, fashion chicks, media chicks, models, performing artists, etc., etc. With DC you draw in lawyer chicks. Big fucking difference.

Here is the deal with NYC:

Every hot girl in America has had this thought: "I really want to live in NYC. Sex and The City! Rich Guys. Art. Fashion. It's so cool. All my girlfriends from home will be so jealous when they see my facebook pictures of me partying in NYC at a fashion gig. Didn't Madonna live there? I am sure Lady Gaga is from there, right? I really could drink Cosmos in a lounge and meet a handsome rich guy. I really could. I am going to live in NYC!"

Hence tons of hot girls in NYC.

Even hot girls in LA have all had this thought: "I am so sick of LA. NYC is so much more "edgy". Way better fashion. And art. The guys are really "rich" in NYC, not like all the guys that fake being "rich" in LA. The weather is worse, but they have Sex and The City there! All my girlfriends from LA will be so jealous when they see my facebook pictures of me partying in NYC at a fashion gig. And I don't have to compete against blonde girls with fake boobs. I need a change. Plus, I think Madonna lived there. I am moving to NYC and give it a shot!"

Again, hence tons of hot girls in NYC.

Manhattan has the best female-to-male ratio in the country (my observation, not just a map). Manhattan has some of the hottest girls in the country. Women in NYC are sexually liberal and open-minded and are usually interesting and have cool shit to talk about. Typically anyone living on that island is successful at SOMETHING, so you run into far fewer hairdressers and secretaries who spend half the night bitching about their nail salon or whatever. The variety of women is never-ending. You can have a hot Asian cougar one night, then a Swedish model the next, then a sexy Latina the next, then some artsy stoner chick the next, then a Colombia grad student the next...

In my opinion, NYC (Manhattan specifically) is the best place in the US to be a single male. Hands down. Best girls in the US. Super easy logistics. One of the best day game cities on the planet. Excellent nightlife 7 nights a week. Never-ending quantity. Tons of foreign women from all over the world.

The catch of course is the cost of living (and the weather).

I've only to Phillie once, but the nightlife blew the time I was there. From what I gather, other than NYC and Boston, the northeast sucks.

Oh, and for what it's worth, Vegas is actually extremely cheap to live in. Just don't live on the strip and make some connections -- the locals in Vegas always hook each other up at clubs/restaurants/etc.

Other than that, Austin or New Orleans would be good inexpensive choices.

As for competition, I just want to avoid a tougher time getting easy sex due to a high male:female ratio, which I suspect is the case from the Rockies on westward.

That stat is true, but is also skewed by percentage of 8+ women.

For instance, I would speculate that in LA the percentage of hotter women is higher than in San Diego, because as a previous poster said there's no "hottie magnet" industry to keep her in SD.

Whenever I cyber-stalk my uber-hot actress fascination of the moment, so many times it relates how they moved to LA after winning some local beauty contest (these are stories from the 1940's to the 2000's)

Of course, that suggests that many, many women, their egos inflated by small town flattery, do the same thing, go to LA and end up marrying a real-estate agent to escape their waitress job. Or a finance guy like you.

In fact, I've heard the competition is so stiff that to get a waitress job it really helps to be a 8.5+.
