What Are the Different Types of Game?

Can we roughly list categories of Game skills? Most bootcamps focus on NightGame. But Washington, D.C. has crummy nightlife. It is silly to complain about nightlife when some guys are cleaning up with DayGame, OnlineGame, or other methods.

With the advent of Roosh's new DayGame book, I appreciate DayGame and NightGame are quite different. With NightGame (in nightclubs), women are defensive and overstimulated/distracted. So you need to stand out (peacock) and be more direct. But if you are successful then you can escalate quickly.

In contrast, DayGame is less direct, like just casually talking. It is not better or worse than NightGame, just different. You can be good at one and incompetent at the other.

OnlineGame is completely different. I can imagine a business that efficiently takes digital photos, helps create your online profile, and composes trial messages for multiple dating sites. The skills here are radically different.

There may be other types of game (Social Circle? Work? Sugar Daddy?). There is also the issue of when to use different skills. For example, what type of game do you use at speed dating, a singles mixer, or a happy hour? The lesson is there are distinct social skills that you can improve for different situations.

Bottom feeder game. This is more for entertainment than anything else.
As some of you may know, I have to be in my office pretty much all day and have nothing to do.

One day I was texting back and forth with this sexy black girl and we were going to go out for an all nighter one friday night a few months ago.
The last text I got was at 4:30 pm then nothing. I called her and her phone was off. Two days later I looked on Tampa bay mugshots and there she was. In jail for a probation violation.
I saw that she had no money in her commisarry so I opened an account online and sent her some chips and candy. When I did go out with her she was VERY gratefull!
After browsing the girls in jail I decided to look some of the hot ones up on facebook and if they had one I sent them some junkfood. After they get out I send them a message telling them that I saw you on mugshots and sent you some cheetos or whatever...I felt bad...blah blah

This stupid shit yields bangs...http://www.tampabay.com/mugshots/

Online Game Skill Set:

*Excellent Grammar/Spelling
*High Quality, Exotic, and/or Unique & Interesting Photos
*Average or Above in Physical Looks (face and/or body)
*Well-written, Stand-Out, Cool, Interesting, Funny, Exciting, AND/OR Mysterious Profile
*Great Logistics (99% of encounters are dates w/ the occasional "bangover")
*Great Pre-Tailored Opener OR Creative, Custom Stand-Out Opener
*Date Game (communication/escalation/seduction/closing skill)
*Excellent Screening Ability & Strategy (to determine the girls most likely DTF)
*Abilility to Weed Out Potential Flakes, Attention Whores, Secret Internet Fatties, and Prudes
*Online Communication Skills (witty banter, intelligence, travel experience, articulating stories, etc.)
*Balance between cocky/funny and over-the-top asshole (messaging, profile, and in-person)
*Ability to meet (or exceed) women's online perceptions of you in-person

Notice that most of online game is preparation and upkeep. Learn what works, modify your profile/pictures, and keep tweaking until you figure out how to best pick up women in this way. Regular game will take you the rest of the way. I'll be covering all of these and more in my online game book.

Good stuff. What do you consider a good response ratio to be? I did a little experimenting this weekend with a canned e-mail and a very different profile and this time I got responses, but I'd like to know whether I'm doing ok or if I need to tweak more.

33% or higher response rate is what you should shoot for. Mine hovers between 25-40%. Sometimes I'm on fire and almost every girl is responding, other times I'll shoot off 15 emails and get maybe 1 response. A lot of it is timing and luck.

Great list. Helpful for finding your weak points.

What would you say is the best time of day and week to send messages? I haven't varied mine enough, but my hunch is Monday-Tuesday is better than later in the week. There's also this.

For your last point about exceeding perceptions, I think if you've picked up girls in real life, you won't have a problem. It only matters if your online game is *so* good that you basically come off hotter online than in real life. Factor in the skewed dynamics of online game, and this is pretty unlikely without some serious investment.

Personally, the girls I've met online are either in my league or below me, and we both know it. I think it's because my photos suck. So when we're decently compatible, I don't even worry about it. I've had issues with girls not coming back for a second date, but even then, we generally had a heavy make out sesh, usually more. Sometimes stone cold sober, sometimes 1-2 drinks deep.

Sunday afternoons/evenings are the best for sure, Mondays aren't bad either. Honestly, there is no "bad" day, but those are the ones I've had the most success with getting responses.

I send/reply to messages throughout the week as opportunities arise after Saturday... for Sun through Thursday to set the date (some are extremely quick, some take a week). I try to fill up the earlier part of my week first then work towards Thursday depending on their schedules (taking into account potential flakes too). The time of day you send the message doesn't seem to matter... some chicks get back to me quickly, some in the morning... others don't reply until 3am. I don't usually bother with IM, but I've had very good success with it if they open first. A lot of these girls just want attention and will go on forever. Don't let that happen, seal the deal after some degree of rapport building.

I like to get in and set the date before I even ask for their number. I give them mine after they agree, and at some point between then and the actual date they text me.

Exceeding perceptions matters because the only reliable way to get noticed online is to really stand out. Walk the talk.

Roosh's list is a good one.

Game is about personal style, and should be based on the person.

Roosh's style is cool and interesting. He's the black guy sitting back at the jazz club that everyone wants to talk to, but who mostly listens to the music, occasionally nodding his head.

Assanova is cocky and funny.

Other types of game:

Therapist Game - where you are an attentive listener, mirror the girl, challenge her view points, etc.

Visionary Game - you're poor but have a plan, dreams, and aspirations.

Muscle Guy Game, Pools - go to pool party, take shirt off, wait for women to appear.

Muscle Guy Game, Street - roll out in tank-top, fashionable shorts, and flip-flips; wait for women to appear.

History professor game - rock a sports jacket (patched elbows help), and lotsa knowledge.

Bottom feeder game part II

Befriend a cabbie. I help them with auto issues from time to time so this one is easy for me.
Call him and ask to ride with him from midnight till 3am. Shoot him a couple bucks and buy him some food/coffee.
Hot girl gets in cab from the bar.. You start chatting her up... Invite yourself into her home...Invite her to your home..
Take her to another bar..

This one is so easy anyone could pull it off. That my friends is the ultimate isolation move!

What Are the Different Types of Game?

When I first got into the game I thought you had to be an entertainer on cocaine to pick up. I did the whole group approaching, club peacocking, cocky/neg thing. I had results with it but it went against my introverted nature.

As the years went on I transitioned from high visibility approaching in huge venues to more of a camp out style where I lurk in prime real estate within small or medium-sized bars until opportunities present themselves. My current game at night is snake game... I wait silently and patiently until I see a victim who is distracted away from her social circle and then I strike with everything I got.

The biggest improvement to my game in the past year is target selection. I have enough experience to know when a girl will be receptive to my game or not by reading a handful of signs. I also know early in the approach whether I will get the one-night stand or something less. Once your game reaches a high enough level, I believe target selection is what's left to jump another level. I have a couple posts about this in development.

For online since its summer, my standard opener is :

Subject: So are you jumping.....
Message: off any boats this summer ?

Usually targeted at chicks in bikini's on their profile, seems to have a pretty high success rate.

I get the same numbers. I've kept spreadsheets with response ratios for years and it seems that around 30% is my long term percentage. Out of girls who initially reply, I can meet up with around 50% pretty fast(within a week or two) the other 50% either disappear, flake, it takes a while, or it never happens. If I don't strike fast enough online another guy will, so when I get her out I go for the gold.

That's pretty good. The average response for the regular joe without much game (95% of the population) is around a 5-10% response rate.

The flipside to not catching them right away is that they often pop up out of no where once it doesn't work out with whatever guy they were seeing... if you made enough of an impression.

The biggest thing that increased my initial response rate was targeting the right girls. After a while I got an intuitive feel based on her profile, pictures, and vibe whether she was serious about meeting or not.

Now you need to take that a step further so you can figure out within 30-60 seconds to determine the ones most DTF. [Image: smile.gif]
