Terror attack at Louvre in Paris / France

A man has attacked a group of policemen and soldiers at the world-famous Parisian Louvre with a machete. A soldier opened the fire and injured the attacker hard, as police officer Michel Cadot said.

Previously, the attacker "Allahu akbar" (God is great) have shouted. The attacker was severely injured, among other things by a belly shot and was taken to the hospital. A soldier suffered a slight injury to his head.

The French government considered the Machetes attack as a terrorist attack. It was "obviously" an attack with "terrorist character," said Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve during a visit to the Bayeux in northern France.

The man had two backpacks, but no explosives were found. A police spokesman, Yves Lefebvre, said the man had become aggressive after the soldiers told him not to enter a shopping center under the Louvre Museum with his backpacks. The man then tried to stab one of the soldiers. Later, two machetees were found.

A military speaker said, initially, the soldiers had tried to overwhelm him with melee techniques. Because this failed, a soldier gave five shots. President François Hollande said in a statement "the courage and determination" of the military.

The police assume that the attacker acted alone. A second person was arrested for "conspicuous" behavior. "She was there," Brandet said. The investigations had to show whether there was a connection to the attack on the military patrol. Even with regard to the motive of the attacker, he warned of hasty conclusions.

Another day in the multicultural paradise. Nobody in the elite dares to take the actions to go to the roots of this. Till then all we can do is to avoid certain hotspots that will be in the centre of such enrichment.

We will stand tall in the sunshine
With the truth upon our side
And if we have to go alone
We'll go alone with pride

For us, these conflicts can be resolved by appeal to the deeply ingrained higher principle embodied in the law, that individuals have the right (within defined limits) to choose how to live. But this Western notion of individualism and tolerance is by no means a conception in all cultures. - Theodore Dalrymple

Behold, the barbarians the leftist children in the U.S. are screaming bloody murder to be let in. The people they'd rather be around than their countrymen who want to be free of this religion and culture that so badly want to kill us. Those same countrymen who they assault and almost murder for simply wanting to be free of living in fear from Islam's endless desire for conquest.

Well, this is what most Europeans wanted, and now they've gotten it. Hope they enjoy this precious multicultural utopia they've built. In 30 or so years they'll be on the cusp of losing it all anyway. My sympathies to guys like Parzival who have only been able to watch with horror as their country spread it's legs for the invaders. I'm sure most Frenchmen will hardly think about this for more than a few second today, this is normal now, this is the future.

Its best not to enter a gun free zone where soldiers and police are on standby for any Buddhists who cause mayhem. You might be mistaken for one and shot.

I always thought the soldiers in france walking around were there as a show of force. Now I know they're actually carrying ball ammo and actually there to do something. That should tell you all you need to know about the situation on the ground there.

France takes tourism seriously.

If only you knew how bad things really are.

The terrorist was a badly-vetted 29-years old Egyptian, who had obtained a visa in the French consulate of Dubai, one month ago... He had plenty of money, having paid 2000 usd (per week) for a flat in the classy 8th area of Paris.

So once again, D. Trump was right: extreme-vetting is necessary for these dudes, coming from troubled parts of the world, maybe even a temporary ban until the Western world finds a way to protect itself.

Obvious well-funded Jihadi - this is impossible to second-check on that scale. Otherwise you would have to ban all wealthy Arabs and Middle Easterners as well.

The ideology of war of Islam simply cannot be contained forever - sooner or later a deciding final conflict will happen and it won't look pretty for the Muslim world.
