Looking for a book roosh was reading

On roosh blog page, he has a section that says books I am reading and I remember during 2014 or 2015 (maybe even 2013), he was reading a book written by an eastern european writer (or russian) but I don't remember the title of the book. I know that there was no kindle version of the book and that was the reason why I didn't buy it at the time. Anybody knows what book I am talking about? It was might is right type of book, I know it was really interesting but I can't recall what was it called. I would appreciate if someone could help me out.

That is the problem, i don't remember what was it about but all i know it was a really interesting book (it wasn't history or politics or anything like that, it was one of these life applying principles book). Did you read that many books by eastern europeans/russian writers? If the list is not too long, maybe you could write it here, I know that soon as I read the title, I will remember it. I know they have it on amazon in paperback version.

Thanks.

Some shots in the dark...Man is Wolf to Man by Janusz Bardach or something written by Solzhenitsyn. Wouldn't hurt to go onto goodreads under Eastern european classics/history.

Maybe it's Fathers and Sons by Ivan Turgenev. Without knowing what it's about, your time range is too wide to narrow it down.

Was it Red Symphony, by J Landowsky? I thought I remember that title coming up. It's on Amazon but no kindle version. Never read it but reviews say it's questionable source material, FWIW.

It's none of these books guys (I have checked all of them, truly appreciate it). Maybe the writer was from Norway or Finland, can't even remember it anymore, my fault for not writing it down at that time.

Changing a bit the subject, I am looking for the book bring up genius by Laszlo Polgar, does anybody knows where I can find the English version of it? I think it's mandatory reading for us who want to raise kids the right way.

Is it Alexander Dolgun's Story? He was an American who was kidnapped from the US embassy in Moscow and ended up going through the gulags in the 50's. That's the only thing I can think of which is close to your description, though I doubt I am right.
