Ukraine, Odessa or ?

I was thinking about traveling to Odessa up coming weeks and still not sure if it's a good idea or if it's worth it.

I am from Israel, I am 18 years old, German/Russian good looking guy, green eyes brown hair 180 cm athlete/average and speaks fluent Russian, German, English and Hebrew. I wanted to visit Europe long time ago but don't know which country I should start with, I was thinking about Germany, Poland, Russia, I read many data sheets about Ukraine too seems like a great place. what's your opinions?

I've never been but I am planning a trip and I have also looked previously so I can give general travel advice. If you are going to travel through those countries the best bet is definitely to either go by train or fly though it is possible to get coaches if money is a big issue. Odessa is likely to be dead in the winter, and will be well below 0, so I would only go there in summer months. I have a friend who is Ukrainian and I have been advised that while you can get cheap hotels in Kiev, you are going to want to book a western chain hotel such as the Ibis ideally as the ex Soviet hotels vary from run down to vile.
