@Realbor Hei og takk for det spennende temat (sorry for the bad bokmål).
I'd like also to chime in as some who can related to a *lot* of what you are describing. Aged 33, with constrain 'brain fog', zero libido, energy of an 80 year old, zero motivation to achieve anything, addicted to zero-risk and minimum effort, constantly afraid of everything. I let my academic career go to the dogs, never fulfilled my dream of becoming a 'real scientist' and it took me SO god-damned long to finish my BSc and Masters degrees, that they are now almost worthless.
Consequently, it took me more than a year of begging to find a half-way decent job which unfortunately bores me out of my mind - after all, the cool and interesting jobs are a tiny fraction of the whole and only the best of the best get to do them, deservedly.
Needless to say, my love life is an unmitigated disaster, and although every once in five years or so, some decent-looking girl shows direct interest in me, nothing ever happens because of paranoia and trust issues. I've turned down direct offers for sex on a few occasions which isn't that hard to do when libido is close to zero and paranoia and fear is close to infinity.
TLDR, you get the picture.

As to the practical stuff people suggested, yes I am taking D3 as advised by my local GP, although the dosage that some people suggest here seems dangerously high. Most docs recommend 20.000 IU per *week*, not per day. So consult a physician before proceeding.

Also, I'm wondering how you could randomly get all those fancy tests and MRIs? Do you have a friendly doctor who prescribed them? Or it's possible to contact a private healthcare services provider and pay for them out of your pocket?

Also, I see a lot of people giving the classic and very sound advice "start lifting". Unfortunately I got a 'weird case' of rhabdomyolysis 4 years ago after relatively little exertion (about 20 minutes of playing soccer) and docs said 'you should only do light exercises'. Needless to say, I used it as a perfect excuse to not ever set foot at the gym again.

In any case, I think it would be very beneficial, if you I and other people in similar situation could somehow remain in touch and build some kind of virtual support group. What does everyone think?

Yep relate with you 100%, fucked up isnt it.

Well, my endo ordered the tests for me. All the blood tests, MRI, everything. Its free in my country so no problems for me.

Im 100% up for creating a support group, seems like we are alot of guys in need, any suggestions?

Oh and I bought a gym card today. My energy levels are shit but I think I can take myself to the gym 3 times a week anyway.

Mate, I feel for you. I see this malaise in so many of your generation.

Being an old bastard who has lived a full and passion filled life makes it hard for me to relate to a lack of purpose, and having no "fire in the belly"

You have come to the right place, the men on here will give you tough love and fatherly advice.

You need to shake up your life and escape the virtual world, and find something that ignites your passion.

Its your journey, you will have to do the hard work. We will help, and you have taken your first steps.

Good luck.

These are the types of responses that make the forum worthwhile. Humility and compassion and not the fake alpha posturing bullshit I see so often on here from otherwise experienced members. Great so see people helping out OP.

Somebody needs to coalesce all of the manosphere knowledge into a definitive "reboot manual". Like a part-by-part university-style course, but for converting a down-and-out man into a contender again.

Try eliminating starches from the majority of meals.

Go for fish/meat/veggie/fats. You want the cleanest, most optimal diet possible. Tremendous affect on your mood.

Also, a word to the wise. Your transformation is achievable but will take a good amount of time. Patience and realistic expectations are necessary.

You want to change personal habits, social skills, and your general station in life. If you try to do this all at once, you increase your chance of burnout/failure.

Pick one area in the personal realm and start with that. Do it for a month. Make it a habit and then stack another.

@Realbor Nice that norwegian docs are so chill. I live in Germany now where in theory all these tests are for free too but unless docs see blatant alarming symptoms of a life threatening condition, they will never prescribe you tests for fear of 'wasting resources'. I even had a doc scold me once because I 'consulted specialist doctors too often'. "Do you think that we are a diagnostics supermarket here?".

Anyhow...as to the support platform....whatsapp groups seem to be awfully popular these days and it offers a convenient web based platform too. What do you think?

Im 27 and im about to turn 28. Ive had pretty limited experiences with women and sexuality, even though I got some game. I was sidelined from pursueing music production, Spirituality, and then having health issues. I would recommend you check out Player Supreme, No Fap, get a fleshlight stamina unit, and find location independant work. Maybe a trip to SEA or Colombia can change you. I feel regret sometimes and feel robbed of freedom in my 20s. But make your 30s kingpin and live abroad IMO. Live where its okay for 30+ guys can date younger broads.

As some have mentioned, as bad as it feels right now, starting today is always better than starting tomorrow. We all have things that we wish that we would have started sooner, but considering that most guys never start at all, starting in your late 20's still gives you plenty of time to create the life that you want.

In addition to what everyone else has written, I would take some time to browse ALL sections of the forum and to explore different topics that you may not have been interested in or have even heard about before. Some of these are bound to be of interest to you which can lead to physical improvements, job growth, style/attractiveness improvements, or will provide sources to reading materials that will widen your knowledge base and make you more of an interesting person (helps immensely when making new friends and talking to girls). Never underestimate the treasure trove of knowledge that we have here.

Finally, I would suggest pacing yourself (to a degree) and not trying to make too many drastic changes at once. Burnout can be difficult, especially with too many changes at once. Plus, the confidence that you gain when changing individual aspects of your life will instill further motivation for further changes/improvements.

Dude, your not too far behind me too be honest. Never too late to start. I am 29.

Wake up tomorrow with intentions. Intentions to Approach, to go to the gym, to dress better on a daily bases, Intention to ACT on your intention.

Deep down a lot of people have end goals to be with women (including myself), but, if you're like me, you're not very good with long-term goals. So I find it easier to understand that short-term goals, which can be acted on now, closer the present, are necessary.

Go to the mall, or where ever and talk to women. Put a number behind it, 2, 4 ,10 whatever.

Go to the gym, work out every muscle you can imagine, and continue doing until your over-trained soreness goes away. Then start looking how to take it too the next level (took me 2 weeks to get over the "I can't walk" soreness, now it's not a problem).

Go somewhere. Anywhere, it doesn't matter. You won't be around people at home, so go somewhere with people around. A new store in town? Go check it out. A store you have always wanted to see? Go check it out. You don't need to spend money every day for this. If you were overweight like I was (Obviously your not at 78kg), I would say after eating better and working out, you would need new clothes. Go shop. Always have the intention to talk to people on the back of your mind.

The key is to fill the time on the weekends and at night with activities other than facing a screen. I have never been to Norway, but I have been to multiple countries. Here in Texas, it is natural to talk about a stranger's day or the weather. If I were you, I would do it there as well.

This is how I started 2 months ago, maybe it will help get the ball rolling for you to.

I'd rather hop on Norway's workforce and enjoy those generous benefits like a shit ton of vacation off.....and use it to go to LATAM. First cover the basics, then go with the combo hits.

OP, some people (like me) function better at a high starch high fiber diet due to serotonin production in the gut. When I stop eating carbs I get depressed and it doesn't resolve. Try low carb, and try high starch / fiber. See what works best.

Anyway: read "mans search for meaning". This is the book to read to find out what you want and what is the meaning of your life. Maybe find a logo therapist in your country who can consult through Skype and do a few sessions (no more then a few). Don't get a diagnosis for psychiatric illness, unless issues persist after you found a job, girlfriend, social circle and have started working out. Not saying you should do all those four things: first read the book I recommended you. It's about how to determine what has meaning to you. When you know what you want, come back here and read all the how-to's that friendly members posted for you.
