Advice for Dallas, there for 1 day

So if you had a 12 hour lay over in Dallas and fancied chatting to girls by day where would you go? (Please not too far from the airport). Also what cool stuff can you squeeze into a day?

^ Hey when are you coming? If you do come, better get yourself a rental car buddy.

For daygame, I would try Knox Street. Not so much Henderson Street which is better for restaurant or night game but west of I-75 Highway via Knox Street. There, you have some restaurants but primarily upscale shops...including..an Apple Store too with bakeries, etc.

Dallas Design District could be good as there is a place called Ascension Coffee. It's so douchey they even have valet parking at the coffee shop.

North of Knox Street is North Park Mall, which I think is good for daygame. Across highway of North Park Mall also on I-75, you have Shops on Park Lane as that place definitely packs the bishes looking to shop.

Any questions, just lemme know man.

Thanks for the advice! I will check it out. While I am there is there any cheap(ish) decent restaurants to eat at (aside from McDonalds/fast food).

Is there anywhere a bit closer to Dallas/FortWorth International Airport where you can approach girls?

12 hour lay over and trying to get a bang in?

Not even worth trying to get a bang. Why don't you google some touristy sites to see and flirt with girls along the way.

^ I know you're looking for something close/easy but the best thing you can do is drive to Central Market in Southlake for suburban daygame.

You're cheating yourself out of the "Dallas experience" if you're not taking my recommendations. Heck when I went to Miami for a similar layover, I took a rental car and went to cool places where locals frequented. Your call man....

Grapevine Mills Mall. It's really close to DFW International, so it has a nice mix of locals, plus Asian, Mexican and some European tourists.

^ Grapevine Mills is a good place to buy stuff for international tourists, but you won't find any single chicks to mack on there.

I forgot one place if you want to kill off time. Top Golf in Dallas. You can hang around the areas closer to the airport, but it will yield less female targets not to mention you will need a rental car to go anywhere anyways.

The Joule Hotel in Downtown and Hilton Anatole are good options if you're willing to pay for valet. Good for hitting on female tourists, etc.

If I just hung around MIA Intl Airport opposed to getting a rental car to drive around the beaches, ethnic neighborhoods, etc...I would've cheated myself out of the "experience." Choice is yours

Single girls go shopping bro.

I agree there's a LOT you can do in Dallas in 12 hours. But that's also why you need to spend at least 3-4 days here to really experience Dallas.

You'd have to spend a night in Uptown, Deep Ellum or possibly Addison to check out all of the fun local scenes.

I also agree that Southlake could have the hottest cougars in the country.

But, I practically always tell friends to stay in Deep Ellum for short trips, because the girls there are super open. Uptown/downtown is way too heavy on social circles and bitch shields.

I recommended that this guy go shopping because the mall is close, he can run daygame, and it's a legitimately good outlet mall for shopping lol. There's a Saks 5th outlet, Neiman Marcus outlet etc.

12 Hour Stay Insight
You are right in that Grapevine Mills is a good place to go shopping. I even took a Brazilian family that stayed with me there one time. However, it's mainly going to be families opposed to single chicks in late teens to 20s and 30s there. The good part about Grapevine Mills is the good food court. I had a meeting in Southlake last week and even went around the area. You might see some good talent but run the risk of accidentally macking on underage high school gals.

I literally hung out with an RVF member in Miami during my 12 hour layover there going to 4 different neighborhoods that were quite far from the airport in a rental car. With that being said, I think North Park and Shops on Park Lane is a better calibration for a short stay. Sure it is farther but those outlets on Park Lane have more single chicks shopping there on weekends & weekdays not to mention the same discount stores as Grapevine Mills too homie. A person could even dick around on Knox Street during that time going to Apple Store, etc since you see quite a few hot chicks there too. For food, why not check out Eatzis Deli off Oak Lawn as well. All in all, that's a good 6-7 hours right there. It would be much more exotic as a foreigner playing lost tourist game asking charming questions out there opposed to the family type atmosphere of Grapevine Mills.

Longer Visits or For Locals
As for trips that include longer stays than the 12 hour layover, I wouldn't say Deep Ellum is hands down a total winner. Dallas as a city has recently transitioned from upscale 30 thousand millionaire to a different type of cliquish vibe where many recent young professionals are trying to relive undergrad again, which I think is worse BTW.

Truth & Alibi in Deep Ellum can supposedly be good, but the other places I visited are likely better for dates or those annoying cliquish groups of friends. You have this brewery culture which is becoming hot for groups of friends, but it's making many people more asexual as a result. Kickball, brewery culture, and some of the hipster crap like Texas Theater in North Oak Cliff = Meh.

Uptown has gotten very SMUish and let's relive undergrad again mixed in with increasing ghetto-ness. Sad to say but if you want to increase chances of meeting chicks, it's upscale or nothing on the nightlife end of Uptown. Places like Ritz-Carlton, Hotel Zaza, Tipsy Alchemist, or Citizen (which I hear is good for Thurs nights whereas its bottle entrance only for dudes Friday/Sat).

I was a fan of the Dram on Henderson not to mention you have good selection but unfortunately hit or miss scenarios out there as well.

Restaurants and restaurant bars are typically where it's at as well. Bitch shields will be lower and thirsty dude bros are less likely to eat out while opting for stupid places like Trophy Room or Kung Fu Bar. Places like Knife, Al Biernat, Victor Tango's, Bistro 31, El Bolero, brunch at Taverna, etc.

I wouldn't recommend going to Joule in Downtown Dallas for a short 12 hour stay, but there are good chicks in the lobby frequenting the bar and coffee shops built in. CBD Provisions is the expensive built in restaurant, which I"m not a huge fan of though I would definitely recommend avoiding Midnight Rambler. Too expensive and all couples on dates minus single bitches.
