Things You Accomplished in 2016 and Goals for 2017

Yes, there is a "2017 Game Goals" thread, but this is for overall lifestyle and personal development goals.

As Fisto said in 2014,

"The thread title says it all, let's look back at the last year and reflect on things we were able to do.

This is a time to celebrate the end of a year and get momentum going in."

Continuing on from last year's thread:

Building upon my 2014 accomplishments:

Got out of a long-term relationship and successfully back onto the dating market.

Went from never doing a pull-up in my life to being able to pound out five consistently.

After a bad ankle sprain I ballooned to 245 lbs. Now I'm back to 215/220, and between basketball, lifting, cooking my own meals, and juicing, I'm at the best overall fitness in my life.

Successfully adapted to the IF lifestyle and loving it.

Backpacked Europe for a month.

2015 Accomplishments

This year I wanted to get 12 notches, 1 a month, and as of Thanksgiving I hit that target. There's still two weeks to add another. [Image: banana.gif] All of them were quality bangs except for a slump buster in January.

Max chin-ups was 12

After joining the OG RVF Cutting Squad I cut down to 190. I am still in the best shape of my life. After the holidays I plan on slow bulking back into the 200's.

Still fasting, still loving it

Didn't travel as much as desired

Only got to a 40% ban level

2016 goals:

Game: 12 notches. I think the notch/month goal keeps me focused on game enough while putting most of my energy into money/fitness.

Gym: Eat carbs and focus on strength. Deadlift 400 lbs, OHP 140 lbs, 20 chinups in one set, squat something.

Green: Make my first $1000 online

2016 Accomplishments:

Game: 13 notches. Baker's dozen, just like last year. The game was alright this year. Even though I'm increasingly dissatisfied with my results, I'm confidently at the point where I know I can get laid.

Gym: Not as satisfactory as desired. I didn't hit any of my 1RM goals except for OHP. 1RM = 150lbs, 3RM = 135lbs. I did hit a weighted chin-up PR, 55lbs for a double. At 215lbs this is more than 25% bodyweight.

April to August I had a health issue that hindered all progress. I was stressed and only hitting the gym 3x a week. My diet was all over the place as I was trying to pound enough vegetable juice to overcome. I gained too much weight because I was not tracking my diet. Excuses aside, I've managed to cut a bit of the fat and get back into my groove.

Green: I made more than $1000 revenue but I don't think profit was above $1000, unless you include PredictIt where I netted $4,346.52. This year I mentally dove into making money online and really accepted "you gotta spend money to make money." The first half of the year I threw a bunch of cash at projects that made no money. On the books it was bad, but in reality it was amazing because it brought me closer to where I am now. "Failure is practice for success."

2017 Goals:

Green: (Most Important of All) - make enough money online to quit my job. It's a lofty goal and definitely in the distance, but if all my hens line up I could be out by Q4 2017. This is my #1 goal. I don't give a fuck if my lifts stagnate and I don't get any notches. Building cash flows in order to quit is most important.

Game: Keep pushing. 12 notches is what I aim for, but always increasing quality and ease. I can see myself slowing down Q1 to hunker down on my internet business, especially since I have a plate that is solid LTR material.

Abritrary game goals -

Have a legitimate threesome.

Bang a girl I met at the grocery store. I've gotten numbers but never bangs.

Gym: 165lb OHP (or 75kg), 400lb deadlift (which I'm getting closer to), 75lb weighted chin-up, and 225lb squat (yes my squat is terrible).

Lifestyle: legitimately start waking up early to do work. I have had stints where I wake up at 6 AM to work, but it's only for a few days and never long term. I would go out or stay up with a girl until 1 AM and the whole routine would be restarted.

Now that I've significantly reduced caffeine intake and got my sleep lined up, I think I'll be able to wake up at 5 AM to do work. If I can routinely wake up at 5 AM to do work, I'll be very happy. I will not be doing nearly as much night game this year. Additionally, I'll be cutting back on weeknight dates. I used to routinely schedule first dates on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. I'm giving that up and only doing first dates on the weekend so I can remain optimal during the week.

Things You Accomplished in 2016 and Goals for 2017

In 2015 I was a total dweeb, I had a girlfriend since high school so when she dumped me I was as lost as Hillary supporter's balls. In 2016 I learnt how to build various social circles successfully, increasing my overall happiness by x1000s, I also got my 2nd and 3rd notches by applying game after learning about it...and lost a shit-ton of weight.
2017 is when things are going to get interesting for me:
-I'm aiming for at least 4 notches, the double of my last year. I want, and I will try more, but this is the minimum. One has to be asian.

-I will get to 9%bf, so I can finally start a glorious bulk.

-I will focus hard, hard, hard on my spirituality. I will meditate daily and continue to investigate psychedelics.

-I will travel to Bulgary/Poland.

-I will focus on my degree, not something I love to do but it's necessary for my later career goals.

I can feel it guys! I have a long way towards the standards of this community, but I'm excited as hell and willing to put the work in.

Accomplishments for '16:

After being broke for most of my life, now have $40,000 in the bank.

Have held down a job for once. It's not a very good one, but being able to put something on my resume (outside of my jobs at the family businesses) is big.

Goals for 2017:

Have over $100,000 in my savings account by the end of year.

Lose 20-30 lbs, find a way to strength train despite busy work schedule. Cut soda down from an everyday thing.

Develop a sustainable form of online income. Don't have to hit a home run, just get something going and keep it going. The laptop I've got coming in the mail will help.

Have medication levels lowered.

My accomplishments:

Over 50 plus bangs easily while working the majority of the year (self contractor so must keep the work flowing)

Around 3 years of expenses in my savings account alone.

Traveled out of the country 3 times and been to over 15 different states. Was at a point where I took a mini weekend vacation every other weekend and had the hospitals pay for it.

Things I want to accomplish next year.

Consistently hit the gym or treadmill at least 3x a week. Combine that with a good diet and hope to be fit.

Half a million in cash in my savings.

Side business to get extra cash.

Broaden my main hustle and be able to take bigger and better contracts for myself.

Accomplishments: Mainly academical. In fact, I think I focused too much on my academic stuff (although this work paid off very well) and let some other stuff slip. To quote Donald Trump, I won so much, I even got tired of winning. But that was only in that area, other things need improvement.

Goals: Fix a few minor health issues/annoyances. Going to start keeping a diary/journal and meditating. Use social media and technology far less. A few flags in mind.

Begin working exclusively for myself, move to Thailand for at least six months, work out more, ~30 notches, travel to five countries.

I quit smoking weed

Stood up to my older brother

Kept working through out the year

Save a lot of money but near the end of the year I had to touch my savings but I never had this kind of money before so there's that

Grabbed my nuts and went out looking for pussy

Got over my depression (dwelling in the past was the main culprit )

Started working out more often than I used to

No new year resolutions for me .i already know what I have to do and there's no reason for me not to start now and hit the ground running.

I wish you all luck on your endeavors

Things I accomplished in '16:

-Became a journeyman in my trade (welder)

-Took my first trip overseas

-Payed off my car loan

'17 goals:

-Get sober. This alone would be a huge accomplishment for me and would open up so many doors for self improvement

-More weekend trips and adventures. My weekends have long consisted of heavy drinking which usually take place at home or the local bar.

-Learn a few riffs on the guitar. I have a sweet Takamine acoustic guitar that's just sitting in front of me. Dust it off and put in some time!

-Identify a workout routine and diet plan that I can stick with.

-Thinking about dropping some major coin on sone cosmetic dental work. Has anyone here gotten vaneers? I've never been happy with my teeth so I never smile with my teeth.

-I've got some funds saved for a down payment for a house but I'd like to save a bit more and perhaps get keys in the 2nd half of '17

I realized that while having experiences with women abroad is one of the finer pleasures in life, it's not as fulfilling as I thought it would be. Personally I found it important to understand this now, because I was ready to structure my life in a way to maximize this goal.

2016 Accomplishments:

1. Switched from a shitty job that was really screwing me on pay to a job that paid more but was not good. Got on my grind and found a job that paid more and is getting me skills that can help career wise.
2. Saved 10k, opened an IRA and started making 401k contributions
3. Took a firm stance with my kids mom in regards to "loaning" her money
4. Cut a lot of reckless and wasteful spending towards the end of the year
5. Spent a lot of time with my daughter

2016 Failures:
1. My savings rate should have been higher
2. I didn't even travel out of my state despite having a flight to France booked
3. I didn't have enough of a buffer to say f you when my rent was jacked up
4. I didn't read nearly as many books as I had hoped

2016:

More or less got to a point where I'm satisfied regarding game
(38 bangs while going out maybe once a week for the first 10 months of the year, no sex life during the week like online or dates)

2017:

Get my career game figured out
Secondary: get back to playing videogames competitively, bang some 9s and 10s, switch from nightgame to daygame, maybe delve into music production/DJing

New Post:
Men’s Style Guide: For Guys Who Want to Get Laid

You aren't getting laid because you still believe in "game".

Here's how I went from being a 21-year-old, videogame-addicted, Asian virgin to banging too many girls to count (no PUA bs):

After this forum being harassed, not going to share outside goals.

Related to this forum, I want members to call me out if I post on any forum besides Lifestyle and Game. Politically, I should execute. The other forums feel not productive to me anymore. If people want to make America great again, they need to stop ranting and start doing.

Got into one of the most intense schools in the country.

Make it through this year while maintaining my body and sanity are acceptable goals to start with. More will be added as the year goes on.
