Jokes aside (and this guy deserves a lot of them) this is a very dangerous precedent already. Notice twitter didn't make any kind of counter-claim or try to deny this motion at all. They just rolled over and handed over the info. Imagine, having to defend yourself from a costly civil lawsuit, because of an animated gif? That is insane. I already use a burner email for twitter, but now I need to be using a VPN as well if somebody gets their panties in a wad? Or maybe just stay off twitter altogether..!

Oh, I just remembered. This guy got into trouble involving underage boys a few years back. He said he was doing "research" for a story. Yeah right!

So this sick fuck is into underage boys, paid $2,000 to a 19 year old and 14 year old to jerk off on camera, watched the video 22 times, and spun the incident into him "saving" the boys to save his ass (and it worked!).

Then the crazy stories about Trump he pulled out of his ass.

And the bizarre behavior on Twitter and Tucker's show.

How the hell does this guy have a job with Newsweek, and how the hell can he be treated as normal by the MSM?

Quote:Quote:

Fool’s Conspiracy: Did Kurt Eichenwald Use Journalism to Shield Himself After Viewing Child Porn 22+ Times?

In the mid-2000s, former New York Times writer Kurt Eichenwald fell into disrepute after being caught paying a source $2,000 — money that the journalist claims he requested back — an additional $1,184 to that source via PayPal to acquire and download illicit images, and likely wired $1,000 more to the same source under a fraudulent name. That source, former child porn star Justin Berry, had become a cautionary tale of the perils of child pornography with Kurt Eichenwald being initially heralded as a hero who “saved” him.

What has not been reported until this time is that Mr. Eichenwald accessed illicit images of Mr. Berry (then an 18-year-old) and a 14-year-old young man masturbating at least 21 times over a seven day period from June 23–29, 2005 — a video that the now rehabilitated Newsweek Senior Writer claimed he had only viewed a single time with Justin Berry after the two met at LAX Airport on June 30 for journalistic purposes.
It has also gone unreported that Mr. Eichenwald proffered false testimony both in written statements and verbal testimony asserting that he had not identified himself to Mr. Berry until June 30, 2005 notwithstanding having sent the former child porn actor a check for $2,000 with his name on it on June 8, 2005.

Further that payment went to the production of the child pornography video (titled JustinPreview2) featuring the 14-year-old child masturbating side-by-side with Mr. Berry on June 9, 2005 (the following day) — with court records indicating that Berry withdrew $300 following the deposit of that check to pay the young man for his participation in the illicit video.
Not only did Mr. Eichenwald violate all bounds of journalistic standards, but he proceeded to convince Mr. Berry to flip state’s evidence on the same day — July 14 — that Eichenwald’s administrative account on the JustinFriends.com child porn site was deleted and all messages between Eichenwald and Berry were scrubbed from Mr. Berry’s computer.

On December 19, 2005, Kurt Eichenwald turned his criminal act into the cause du jour writing a poignant and impactful piece alleging to uncover the dark underbelly of the child pornography scene titled Through His Webcam, a Boy Joins a Sordid Online World on the trials and tribulations of his associate Mr. Berry.

The made for Hollywood piece was an opening salvo in the story of a tormented young man preyed upon by online predators until Eichenwald, by his accounts, swooped in to help him find salvation. In Making a Connection With Justin — the former New York Times writer provides a firsthand account of a heroic journalist who rescued a then 19-year-old Justin Berry from a life of crime, drugs, and self-degradation.
Concerns among the journalistic community were abound that Mr. Eichenwald made himself part of his own story preventing the writer from reporting objectively on the content, but the reality of the piece that won Kurt Eichenwald the acclaim of the US Congress and even Oprah is far more malignant than anyone imagined.

Kurt Eichenwald’s Heroic Narrative Falls to Ash When Exposed to the Light
In interviews, in court testimony, and in legal filings Kurt Eichenwald contests that he attempted to contact Justin under two pseudonyms but was rebutted by the young man who found his questions too aggressive. However, in June (one court filing says May/June) Mr. Eichenwald says that he finally was able to connect with Justin Berry using a slower approach under a false identity as a songwriter.

In Eichenwald’s interviews and testimony, he explains that his initial overtures posing as a “pervy fan” were increasingly ignored by Justin Berry and his co-conspirator Greg Mitchel until after he sent a check for $2,000 (a fact not initially disclosed in his reporting) on June 8 and that he was able to coax Justin Berry to meet him on June 30 at LAX airport in Los Angeles at which time he first exposed his true identity as Kurt Eichenwald, an author and writer for the New York Times, which he said left Justin in a state of shock.

Court and forensic records compiled in the parallel matter of Timothy Ryan Richards, a convicted child pornographer, shred both Eichenwald’s timeline and narrative exposing he was more directly involved in Justin Berry’s kiddie porn and child erotica enterprise.

Those court records show that Justin Berry’s child porn websites — MexicoFriends.com and Justinsfriends.com — had gone dormant prior to Kurt Eichenwald making contact with the then 18-year-old with communications by Mr. Berry to friends suggesting he had left the business and found Jesus.

Those files further show that Kurt Eichenwald was granted administrative access to Berry’s previously defunct websites on June 3 and had sent Berry a check for $2,000 from Mr. Eichenwald’s personal account bearing his name on June 8 in direct contrast to both his testimony that the Berry did not know who he was until June 30.

The files also show that an individual referring to himself as “Andrew McDonald” using the email address “[email protected]” made $1,184 in payments to Justin Berry from 6/6/2005 to 6/23/2005 criticizing the quality of potentially illicit images sent to him — court records confirm that account belongs to Eichenwald.

On June 6, 2015, in the comment section of the PayPal exchanges, Kurt Eichenwald bearing the name of Andrew McDonald says of the quality of images sent by Justin Berry — “the light sucks, washed out” and “If I save them, I pay for them. If I don’t, I didn’t even bother to finish looking at them, so I didn’t buy.”

“Once it’s back and running, I’ll be back to downloading… and paying you. I’ll be online today. Find me an[d] lemme know what to do. And I have other proposals for you that would get you even more money,” said Eichenwald in PayPal notes on June 7, 2005. “Or tell me when u will be on aim (AOL Instant Messenger). I have had access to the ftp site since we last spoke. And I’d like to start paying ya again. Email me at [email protected] or tell me when u will be on aim.”

Court records further confirm that [email protected] belongs to Kurt Eichenwald who used the pseudonyms of Roy and Andrew McDonald while communicating from this email address.

Server records and court filings also show that an IP address connected to Kurt Eichenwald’s email accounts [email protected] and [email protected] accessed a video titled justinpreview2.wmv a total of 22 times over a seven day period from 6/23/2005 to 6/29/2005.
It is known from court records that this video was produced on June 9, 2005 using the proceeds of Kurt Eichenwald’s $2,000 check sent the day prior, that it was initially uploaded to the website on June 19, 2005, and that the video contained the illicit imagery of the 14-year-old young man masturbating with Justin Berry.

It was only then on June 30 that Kurt Eichenwald met with Justin Berry at LAX airport where he claims in court testimony of the parallel case of Ken Gourlay and in court filings that he first provided Mr. Berry with his true identity — a reality that he said shocked Berry — despite the journalist having provided a check with his name to Berry three weeks earlier.
On Day 1 of his testimony starting on page 32 and ending in page 37 of his testimony, Eichenwald answered consistent with the narrative that Justin Berry did not know of his identity until the two met at Los Angeles’ LAX airport on June 30, 2005. On day 2 of his testimony, albeit vaguely, he provided a similar representation starting on page 130 and 131 of the transcript in his second day of testimony.

This false testimony was represented more plainly in paragraph 2.5 of Eichenwald’s Reply in Further Support of Third Party’s Motion to Quash Subpoenas and Request for Sanctions on July 30, 2007.

Court exhibits identify the possibility that, after this interaction, Eichenwald likely wired another $1,000 to Justin Berry in Bakersfield, California from a location in Dallas, Texas less than three miles away from the journalist’s
home under a fraudulent name on July 5, 2005.

The Conspiracy to Deceive the Public
A series of strange events occurred on July 14, 2005 — the day that Stephen M. Ryan, Esq., at the behest and urging of Kurt Eichenwald, transmitted a letter to the Department of Justice on behalf of Justin Berry — seeking a proffer agreement (flip state’s evidence) in return for immunity.

First and foremost, court records indicate that on that same day Eichenwald’s account on JustinFriends.com was administratively deleted. That same day, Justin Berry attempted to scrub his computer on that date of all communications between himself and Eichenwald.

It is further known from court records that the same attorney, Stephen M. Ryan, Esq., represented Kurt Eichenwald “in connection with these allegations” with the court filing context referring to the testimony proffered by Justin Berry in return for immunity.

The idea that a journalist whose own activities in a matter sharing the same common nucleus of operative fact would subsequently report on those matters under a claim and a shield of espoused journalistic objectivity shocks the conscience particularly in light of clear and indisputable evidence of criminality.

But wait, there’s more: In cross examination in the parallel case of convicted sex offender Ken Gourley, defense introduced the fact that Justin Berry’s 14-year-old protege from the JustinPreview2.wmv video had testified to the FBI that Kurt Eichenwald promised Justin Berry a $500,000 book deal with that offer even materializing but ultimately being declined because it came with a condition Berry not appear on Oprah which he did alongside Kurt Eichenwald.

Why Does Kurt Eichenwald Still Have a Job?

Kurt Eichenwald has since rehabilitated his image into that of the darling of the liberal media with a number of takedown pieces on Donald Trump’s financial conflicts of interest and other hot button election coverage.

In recent weeks, however, Mr. Eichenwald has displayed a rare degree of instability appearing to suffer a break down during an interview with Fox’s Tucker Carlson where, completely unsolicited, he said that he had a secret message from the CIA for Mr. Carlson and Donald Trump.

Days later Eichenwald said on Good Morning America that he posted a false story about Donald Trump having been admitted into a mental institution to “signal a source” claiming with a straight face that slandering an individual with made up information in hopes it would inspire a whistleblower is ordinary journalistic practice.

Eichenwald, whether you agree with him or disagree with him, has routinely showed himself to be the leading fabulist in the American mainstream media. It now appears that, in addition to having perpetrated multiple frauds upon the public, he may have used the power of his pen to shield himself for accountability in viewing child pornography if not worse.
As one writer explained at the time in “Why No One Wants to Write About Kurt Eichenwald,” many in the journalistic community were horrified by the revelations regarding Mr. Eichenwald’s dubious reporting practices and other potential acts of impropriety in connection to Justin Berry, but as a result of his own apparently desperate effort at self-preservation many actual child sex felons were arrested and prosecuted.

The truth is Eichenwald was never properly held accountable for his action. Truth knows no expiration date.

Looks like we're going to need a Eichenwald lawsuit database at the rate we're going. That was a very stupid idea if he actually threatens to go through with a lawsuit. More exposure to even allegations of child abuse will be linked to his name, even if they aren't proven. He just own-goaled his stupid butt. This guy is a genuine moron.

So the FBI has actually arrested "Jew Goldstein" for sending the seizure inducing gif. Looks like he's facing federal charges.

Quote:Quote:

On Friday, the Dallas FBI confirmed to Gizmodo that it has made an arrest in a case involving Newsweek journalist Kurt Eichenwald, who claims a man sent him a GIF over Twitter that triggered his epilepsy, causing him to have a seizure. A Dallas FBI spokesperson told Gizmodo that a press release with more details on the arrest is forthcoming, and declined to comment further.

I'm glad our federal government can spend the time and resources to investigate and prosecute somebody who allegedly caused a "journalist" to have a seizure with nothing more than speech. Oh, and then find and then prosecute others who used speech that didn't cause any physical harm but annoyed the "journalist."

Is there a defense fund set up for donations yet? Of course, I'm assuming this is real and not another one of his performance pieces.

Goal of Bounty
On Friday, March 17, 2017, "journalist" Kurt Eichenwald had the FBI arrest "Ari Goldstein" ("Jew Goldstein", real name John Rivello, an ex-Marine with PTSD) for replying to a tweet with a flashing gif. Eichenwald allegedly had a seizure from the gif despite not taking medication, drinking alcohol and also being sleep deprived at the time. These factors can cause seizures on their own.

Eichenwald obtained John's real name through a charity he had donated to in his name.

John had donated to an epilepsy charity as a gesture of goodwill and as an apology to Kurt. He also wrote Kurt an email, apologizing and told him that he was donating to the charity in his name.

For months now, John Rivello has been swamped with legal fees so his friends are starting this bounty in the hopes to ease the financial burden.

Why
If this goes to trial, it will redefine "trolling" and what it means to troll online. John can't go to prison for tweeting a gif at Eichenwald.

Requirements
Anything you can do to help. We can't do this alone. We really need your help. We know "Jew Goldstein" aka John Rivello and are friends of his, and we need money to help him pay for his legal defense. He is currently in FBI custody. Donate now.

For what it's worth, despite all the (justified) laughing at Eichenwald, a look at the relevant caselaw shows that Jew Goldstein did in fact commit a crime under federal law. Eichenwald has a lot of influence as a highly-placed reporter at one of the nation's most important news organs, and that influence doesn't simply go away because Trump was elected.

It's a shame, because Eichenwald undoubtedly did deserve a seizure for his posts.

Trump has three years to come through, for better or worse. However I get the ugly feeling that he's leaving the right (the alt-right in particular) in a victim-holding-pattern for as long as possible perhaps in order to keep them angry against the Left enough to give him a second term.

The infinite-D chess nonsense is indeed getting a bit tired. At the end of the day, previous presidents had an army of people that knew the script and could be reliably trusted to dump stuff in front of them to rubber stamp without any real oversight.

Trump sadly doesn't have the luxury of time to butt heads with every asshole at the top of every division of every federal agency every time they do something like this.

Que sera. There's always plan B.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

Well, certain things are "infinite degree chess" or whatever you want to call them, and certain things aren't. It seems fairly obvious that the point of this travel ban was to be blocked. It's fairly clear that Trump released his own taxes to fuck with Rachel Maddow.

But Trump has a huge number of priorities and very few people he can trust. He doesn't have time or political capital to spare freeing Jew Goldstein.

The idea that Trump could personally intervene in this case is stretching things way too far. At most, Trump could give Jew Goldstein a pardon should Goldstein get convicted.

But if you'll have noticed, the judiciary is out of control in America (and Europe), and cleaning it out takes a looooooong time. I am not a fan of the judicial branch. I think it's the worst branch by far. Way too much power in the hands of judges. Most judges are like reddit admins on a power trip.

The entire branch deserves to be redesigned, and needs more input from the people on a day to day basis. Lawyers shouldn't need law degrees or passing a bar exam to practice. Entire thing needs to be deregulated and opened up to the public for everyday use.

All of this is beyond the scope and power of Trump in just one term. Even Trump's DOJ is busying trying to get murdering illegals deported or sent to prison, but cannot do so because of all the liberal judges (disproportionately Jewish I am sure) fucking up the country.

The idea that we can hold Trump accountable for this just 3 months in is ridiculous. The fight against the judiciary will take at least another 10 years. Probably 20 if we lose any elections.

If you guys haven't noticed, the judicial branch has been the strongest arm of the liberal elite for at least 50 years. Since Roe v Wade, the judiciary has been creating laws against the will of the people with zero pushback or consequences. Look at faggot marriage. That one came outta nowhere.

This is also a reason I do not believe in "politics is downstream from culture." Look at how fast America went from anti-Gay to pro-Gay just because of a supreme court ruling. The average person is a sheep who will do what they are told. Politics create culture. Strongmen create culture. The people will love the emperor's new clothes if the law says you must love them.

It's true, Trump has delivered very little, and it's time to agree on this simple fact.

I disagree about why he hasn't done anything. He has essentially taken over the world's largest company in a rotting state and has every middle man leader sabotaging him. I woudl not be surprised if the entire first period is spent getting rid of people.

In addition he is sabotaged from within by his only weakness, his love for his children and particularly his daughter Ivanka and her suspect husband, who is behind or implicated in most of his poor decisions, so much that Bannon and Trump began doing business every Saturday because Kushner would observe Shabbat.

In any case, Trump has done very little, but Obama didn't do much of anything to begin with either. It takes time to get rid of the old guard.

Personally I would like him to publicly put all federal and federally funded public servants on notice that if they use their office in the pursuit of an anti-American totalitarian agenda that their days are numbered.

That they will be risking not only the loss of their job but may face prosecution.

I've been thinking about this Jew Goldstein business for much of the day and I've come to the following conclusion.

If Trump is unable or unwilling to offer any first ammendment protection to meme warriors and allows instances like this to "fall below his radar" then there is no compelling reason for said meme warriors to throw themselves into the woodchipper of progressive political aggression in the hope of choking it with their very bodies (derp! they cant imprison us all. derp!)

"The bigger picture" is of little consolation when you're up for tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees at best or at worst being raped by psychopaths in a federal prison.

Trump as much as anyone should know that merely being charged with a crime is punishment enough, even if there's no chance it results in a conviction. Anyone ever filled out a job application form that asks "have you ever been charged with a felony"?

No, either we are relevant and worth protecting or we are irrelevant and should not waste another keystroke until the fortress walls encompass us they way they did for BlackLivesMatter under Obama.

It's really very, very simple. Trump finds a lackey who can trawl the net for this kind of shit. He gives that lackey a secretary that can get in contact with the relevant assholes causing legal issues for the Jew Goldstein's of America. Said lackey calls said asshole. He tells them that the President has assigned him the task of rooting out misuse of public office for the purposes of political agenda. He tells said asshole that he/she is going to face review, and if it's found that so much as a single more pressing case (like fucking murders perhaps?) is being overlooked in favour of white-knighting for left wing media celebrities then said asshole will be suspended pending review, then to be fired and charged with everything the DOJ can throw at them.

Or is there some dimension of this chess game that eludes me, because it seemed to work swimmingly for the fuckwits in Obama's administration.

Any one of us on the forum could make ten such calls a day with ease. The effect on morale in our camp would be epic. So what gives? Is it that Trump sees more political value in using us as shock troops, and shrugging at our losses?

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.
