What I'm noticing is something interesting.

In the early times around 2010 the deep state and their lackeys barely had to raise a finger to point at who would be removed, and gave little to no justification. Fast forward a couple of years and they had to do a smear job but it was a simple process. By 2016 they had to have something pretty damning and by 2018 they had to start resorting to guilt by association in order to get an unpersoning across the line. IMO that last shift has crossed a critically important line where separate ideological groups are being aligned by their very enemies.

"Tucker Carlson is listened to by white supremacists!"
"Why don't you just save time and say 'Jews', Tucker!"

Note how they have to increasingly resort to building bridges between their various enemies AND revealing themselves as a villain group.

How many Tucker fans are thinking "okay, well if I'm apparently a white supremacist just for watching Tucker then that pretty much rules out the middle ground with these people".

How many oblivious white people completely blue-pilled on the JQ are beginning to ask serious questions about why Jews themselves are self-identifying as enemies of Tucker and his fans?

God bless that man and keep him from harm.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

McInnes and Carlson had dinner a couple weeks back and I am sure it was about McInnes suing the SPLC. This latest bullshit is going to be the last straw that held him back. After having his home attacked I thought he would have went full in, but like most good conservatives he likely gave the insane left a pass that it was but "a few bad folk among the good".

I don't think he is any longer feeling this way. The rabid left's warchest must be taken away.

Just a quick reality check.

50 years ago, it was considered immoral (and illegal, in some places) to be gay or lesbian but fine to make bawdy jokes. The complete opposite is true now.

This is the slippery slope. Without the battle to fight for gay rights, the gay and straight people on the left have taken their energy and used it to attack people they don't like for virtually everything they say and do. This includes everyone from Candice Owens to Tucker Carlson to Ban Shapiro. Like them or not, they've become targets of the self-appointed guardians of the New Morality.

What Carlson said was no different than what scads of Hollywood stars and talk shows hosts have said. And yet they're going after his advertisers. The women on "The View" have said all sorts of crazy things, as has Howard Stern, and scads of others.

Movies stars get arrested for drunken driving and drugged driving, yet are still employed. I'd rather deal with someone saying rude things than someone stoned or drunk behind the wheel. So would most sane people.

So, what's happened is that the left has created a new morality that's taken hold of the country. The problem is that it's infested everything from corporations to churches to schools.

People buy into this stuff. Not because it's good, but because it's THERE. Like Top 40 music. The real shame is the corporations, who pull advertising from shows like Carlson's over what's really minutiae if you look at the big picture.

This is the topsy-turvy image of the old morality. We've done a complete 180. The left couldn't take their victory of gay marriage and say "We won!" and go home. They had to keep fighting. Had gay marriage never been approved, it could have restrained their struggle mostly to that. But now they're coming after everyone else.

This is similar to what we saw with the black community after about 1980. They got Civil Rights laws. They got anti-discrimination laws. So what did they do? They devised concepts like White Privilege and "structural racism" to find other ways to battle.

The slippery slope, then, is not about the rights or trannies or legalizing pedophilia. It's about the out-and-out destruction of Heritage America. This is why Carlson's show is so important, not just for what it is, but for what it symbolizes.

Sometimes I get caught reading this or other political / societal threads a bit much and think...

Can someone please post something fresh in the Boobs thread to distract me?

I'm a fan of Tucker and I find most of what he said in these "leaks" pretty damn funny, but I can't get behind the comments about Iraq. He was making these comments while the United States was still embroiled in a disgusting war of aggression that killed something like 500 000 people in that country based on a very faulty pretence.

Calling an entire nation "illiterate monkeys" who need to just "shut the fuck up and obey" is not the Tucker Carlson I've come to like. Can we all agree that the sanctioning of the military industrial complex and its useless fucking wars, and the dehumanisation of an entire nation, is a window into a pretty fucking dark heart, whether he was trolling or not?

Guy comes out blasting with both barrels---calling out the SJWs and social media mobs, but saving most of his ire for GOP faggots and weaklings in DC. He literally names them as controlled opposition---yep he goes there---and declares war on their bullshit:

Like Trump and Kavanaugh before him, Tucker has figured out that you cannot surrender. You cannot give an inch. You cannot participate in the charade. And you cannot, under any circumstances, apologize. It's clear now that this is the only strategy that can succeed in the current environment. In fact, it's so obvious that this is the only way forward that any anyone who doesn't advocate fightback when confronted with circumstances like this can be safely dismissed as a plant or controlled opposition. This is my new personal litmus test for who I take seriously.

Fox News is standing behind him, for now. I suspect they realize that they have too much to lose by getting rid of him and that if they just wait a few months the mob will have moved onto something else by then.

That Carlson-Coulter ticket is starting to look pretty attractive right now---even (or perhaps especially) for this old-style liberal. I know Ann doesn't believe women should work---but maybe she can yet be convinced.

I liked the part where he says that calling the Left the new puritans is an insult to puritans.

All I have to say to any of these "journalists" creeping around in here:

Quote:Quote:

Journalist = raw_input("Are you a journalist? Y/N ")
if Journalist == "N":
print("Good! Aren't you sick of these vermin?")
if Journalist == "Y":
JobStatus = raw_input("Do you currently have a job? Y/N ")
if JobStatus == "Y":
print "Not for long, buddy!"
elif JobStatus == "N":
print "Then you'd better learn to code!"
EndProgram = raw_input("")

I agree, but here is another quote from his Bubba The Love Sponge appearance (link to story here). This is about his inherited wealth and his being a Trust Fund baby:

“I’ll go out and beat some servants, I’ll wrap my Lamborghini around a tree, go pick up a kilo or two, you know, just like normal stuff,” he added.

The writers of the article don't seem to understand this, but he's kidding and there is an element of satire in what he's saying. That doesn't come through in print the way it does when you hear it.

"Morning Zoos" are like those old Celebrity Roasts. If you're not being outrageous enough, they cut your time off and pull you off the show.

All that said, the change in culture we've experienced from 2006 until today rivals the change the U.S. experienced from 1963-1976. Except back then we went from repressive to freewheeling. The most recent change is the reverse.

Things that were funny in the 2000s cause people to take umbrage now. Can you imagine a movie like "American Pie" or even "Napoleon Dynamite" being made today? When you live in a time where people take offense at a toothless sitcom like "Friends" (as milennials do today) you know your society has got some issues.

I hate Brain Stelter. He might be the slimiest personality on CNN, maybe even more than Don Lemon.
