Disclaimer: This video is totally ridiculous and yet it not only describes
what a lot of guys do, it surprisingly teaches what may be the most important skill
to actually have in game...

Stamina, Endurance and Persistence.

Being able to keep going when most guys give up... consistently going out
and having conversations with women not just on Friday/Saturday nights
but every day of the week.

It's not always about the quality of your game i.e how high you can jump...
it's also about how long you can keep going and how productive you can be
on a day to day basis talking with women.

No. It only portrays that if every male jumps high to get a female then you should do the same but jump higher and longer to get her. If that bird had some game he would confront that bitch bird and ask her if she can jump even half as high as he can.

Game is the exact opposite to that. Game is thinking outside the box and offering an alternative to the classic "courting" way.

I laughed at 1:40. Bunch of them jumping through hoops to get laid. Says more about the danger of ratio imbalances than anything. If there were more female birds than males, the situation would be different.

I'm sure she was entertained. If only there were a dating app for birds...

Natural selection is weird...the rules for mating in the wild are completely
different from anything humans experience...maybe if you've got good "jump" game
that will give your kids a survival advantage.

It just struck me watching the video, that (1) there is always a crowded field out there
and (2) the guy who has the most stamina...ie able to keep to working hard
approaching women, following up, scheduling dates etc on a daily basis will always
do better long term.

I think the rules in mating in the wild are exactly the same as what humans experience. The only difference is we are able to intellectualize it.

Present yourself as the ideal genes and display traits and skills that make you a more viable mate. In deferent species this varies:
  • Lions kill each other
  • humans allocate resources
  • RVFers work to become the best version of ourselves
  • Peacocks have outrageous tail feathers
  • Stags take calcium from their bones to grow antlers
If you have read any of Mystery's material a large part of attraction is "peacocking". The idea of "pre-selection" shows this as well--other women wanting to mate with me must mean that I am a superior mate choice; almost everything we do especially in pick-up its practically one big ass mating dance.
No matter how much we evolve nothing is going to displace our 2 primary directives as animals:
1)Survival of the organism
2)Survival of the species

When you look at it objectively everything else is just a means to an end

The one thing I find funny is aloofness. Personally I think this is an "abnormal" behavior created in an intellectual society.
On one hand with an animal trying to reproduce this is a bad move. One would think aloofness would come across to female animals of lesser intelligence as being diseased or an outcast. Ya know something that indicates the aloof animal has something wrong with it to not be actively trying to mate.
On the other hand a King with dozens of women simply can't find the time for all of his ladies and the neglecting would make them more thirsty for is attention. Not sure where I was going with that but I just find that one interesting...

Attraction and passion are non-negotiable

This specific example, Roosh, isn't the result of gender imbalances specifically. It is the result of parental investment cost imbalances. In species where we have anisogamy and varying parental investment costs between the sexes, then the higher parental investment gender becomes the picky/choosy "gatekeeper of sex" and the other gender fights for mating success.

Your point still stands, it's just a small nuance I want to clear up.

Grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference

To be fair, a lot of animals do socialize and mate in groups of males and females...
its easier that way and you're not spending all your time looking for someone because
it's built right in to your social circle.
