Lost 140 lbs - Diet and Lifting

New here, but long time reader and friend of Roosh, Matt Forney, and the Cappy.

I grew up in a broken household. Had an overprotective mother, and since my father did not do his duty to provide, diet was not a concern. By the time I was 19 years old, I weight 331 lbs. I couldn't even see my dick, did not know what it felt like to buy clothes at a normal score, and my confidence suffered. I had cultivated my intellect and spirituality, but neglected my body.

Right now, I'm at 195, 5'10. Been lifting seriously for five years. Totally changed my diet, love dressing to reflect upon myself, and eat very healthy. I've married an amazing woman, and the sky's the limit.

Right now I follow Jason Blaha's ICF for "noobs," and it does the trick.

I hope this inspires anyone reading or lurking that it can be done. I wear a size 34, after wearing a 60....

Sadly, my father passed away from morbid obesity, but even that didn't motivate me to change. You know what did? Realizing I'd never find a girl.

Congratulations. But it is forum etiquette to post a data sheet about how you did so I would add that. That could be very helpful information for some other members.

Serious question? What does your skin look like? Did it rebound because of your age and the weight loss was slow and steady, or do you look like you're wearing one of those glider suits? Congratulations on the weight loss. Keep grinding.

I'll take a crack at that.

October '12 (my biggest, 331+)

Just stopped pigging out, eating sweets like it was nothing.

March '13 (~270)

Decided to cut out fast foods, eat clean and cook at home.

For the rest of 2013, I hovered between 265-260.

Early 2014, got down to 225, decided to start tracking calories with myfitnesspal. After three months of religiously tracking calories, I even bought a food scale. I did that for six months, and decided to stop because it was getting out of hand. I wouldn't eat without the scale, I'd bring the scale to restaurants, etc. Weighing taught me how to approximate calories, and the importance of calories.

Since Spring of '15, been hovering between 190-200. Usually at 195-7.

I've been lucky, it's not too bad. I have a little sag on the bottom of my arms, and on my thighs, but luckily I never had manboobs, so I avoided that. The worse is on my belly, very close to the bellybutton, it just looks dried and shriveled up.

I bet if I lost all the loose skin, I'd drop down to 185. I won't do the surgery, though. Even if I had the money, I've heard enough horror stories from people who had it and regretted it.

Whats your current calorie intake im also about 5 "10" at around 225 lb. I'm looking to loose wieght fast through my diet/nutrition. I realized I do need certain amount of protein/fat in my diet, but could minimize carbs. What's your best diet for wieght loss I eventually want to get down to around 160. It's my healthy wieght.

Check her out. She has a recipe for bone broth. And supposedly the natural collagen is good for your skin.

Congrats man on weight loss.
I remember listening to Tim Ferris podcast with Charles Poliquin (my favorite TF podcast episode, I recommend for every one to have a listen). He mentioned Gotu Kola for lose skin problem.

I havent used it cause never been overweight (so you have to research it for your self), but thought maybe it will be helpful for your journey.
