Who should serve as Trump's Secretary of the Interior? Don't underestimate the importance of this decision.

The person with this position will oversee the US Geological Survey, which under the Trump presidency, can finally begin its cartographical survey of the territory of Lindy West, an achievement that will mark the end to the task of mapping all US continental, territorial and planetary spaces.

Key Qualification:

30 years plus surveying various fupas and examining cottage cheese (large & small curd).

And the fortitude to tackle massive tasks.

You know, Lindy west has been around for a few years, and she's been fat the whole time. She could have gotten that surgery and be fine by now.

Same with Chris Christie. I hope he isn't appointed to shit. He's too fat.

Aloha!

Rand Paul for Sec of State

I don't like Chris Christie too much, seems like he might be bought and paid for.

Jeff Sessions for whatever cabinet post deals with immigration.

Rand is too much of a charisma-less pussy to be Secretary of State, and overall I see him and his father as a liability to the administration.

Rand half-heartedly endorsed Trump after slamming him for months, but even down to the very last minute Ron refused to.

People like that aren't going to stick with you when it matters.

I would consider Rand for the Supreme Court though. There it doesn't matter if he's loyal to Trump specifically, as long as he's loyal to conservative values.

Giuliani and a Chris Christie can write their own tickets. Because Trump owes so few favors in the Republican party he is fairly free to pick who he wants. I'm hoping Conway is snubbed though she wasn't very good at handling the pressure during the campaign at key moments.

KellyAnne Conway was huge in getting this win for Trump, let's not kid ourselves. She got him across the finish line, look how close most of the swing states were(Michigan, Pennsylvania, Florida, Wisconsin, were all extremely close), and I'm sure her knowledge of the polling industry and overall strategy helped Trump win.

She was money every time I saw her in interviews. She can be white house press secretary or whatever else.

Chris Christie lost about a hundred pounds, he can lose more hopefully. I have no problem with him as Attorney General.

Sessions has a pretty important job as a sitting senator, we have 51 republican senators right now, and need to keep that majority, not just give it away.

Carson can be Surgeon General.

Newt= Secretary of State.

Rudy Guiliani can be Secretary of homeland security.

We still need secretaries of labor, commerce, agriculture, treasury, interior and a few others.

I have every confidence that Trump will pick great people.

We must have watched completely different interviews. I saw her getting shat on by Cooper, CBS news and Maddow. All Democrat institutions granted but those are the tough interviews you expect her to remain firm in.

As a strategist I don't give her much, let's be real here the campaign SUCKED. It was entirely the will of the people that moved Trump across the finish line. Guys like Cernovich probably did more for the campaign than Conway. Wouldn't put her in a position higher than press Secretary.

Christie is going to have a difficult time being appointed Attorney General. Unfortunately, the national media has not been covering Bridgegate enough. He is looking at being brought to a grand jury on charges. He also has a 19 percent approval rating in NJ. As someone who has followed his career closely, he's corrupt and will be a political liability if he's chosen for a cabinet position. The NJ congress may begin impeachment proceedings. He has no credibility in his own state. This guys is bad news.

Dantes is completely right about Bridgegate which I completely forgot about. That does make CC a liability, more likely he'll be thrown a minor position which will not produce a scandal if he later had to vacate it.

I agree and i've always been suspicious of the doughy fatman hopping aboard the Trump Train. It seemed like a very convenient political maneuver for him because he probably saw the writing on the wall before anyone else. He knew there was going to be trouble so he decided to hitch his wagon onto something greater.

Now he's probably hoping that will pay off somehow or maybe even insulate him from what's coming. It's a very manipulative and low integrity shrewd move. He has no intrinsic value at this point.

Vicious, look to Michael Tracy's twitter. His campaign was way more sophisticated than you think, though persuasion was obviously the most important aspect.

Christie must stay away. Fair or not, he's seen as tainted by the bridgegate scandal. A needless waste of political capital. I'm not sure about Rudy. He could make a good AG, but he's prickly. I want that capital spent on passing the Trump agenda.

There's now talk about Jamie Dimon (JP Morgan), being at Treasury. Still just talk though. It's obviously going to be someone with a financial background but I would hope that it's not someone from a big bank. Santelli just went on an epic rant about forgetting about satisfying "global investors," Trump went there to fuck shit up.

Neocons must stay gone.

General Flynn is probably the obvious choice for Defense, though he would need a special act of Congress to serve because he only recently retired from active duty.

Newt will be there somewhere. Maybe State or Chief of Staff (hearing Reince is favored for the latter).

Ray Kelly is being talked about for Homeland. That would be an excellent choice. He did a wonderful job here in New York City.

I don't have high hopes, sadly. Look at the economic advisory team Trump released a few months ago. Let's just say it makes the board of the Federal Reserve look like a paragon of diversity.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/polit.../93540772/

Surprise, surprise, Trump brought more "Hispanics" to his side than Romney and Clinton lost a lot.

But here's the kicker:

Quote:Quote:

The Hispanic share of the national vote rose from 8% in 2004 to 10% in 2012 to 11% in 2016, according to the Pew Research Center and exit polling conducted by Edison Research. Abramowitz said that resulted in diminishing Republican leads in states like Arizona and Texas. He pointed to more Hispanics playing a factor in Southern states like Georgia. And he said the share of the white vote will only continue to fall.

"In the long term, that's a significant thing," he said. "In this election, it wasn't nearly enough to swing those states. But that's a trend that is only going to continue."

This is why immigration reform (the real kind that doesn't allow chain migration) needs to happen now.

I want the Secretary of State to be someone who won't wage stupid wars in the Middle East, I don't think Newt fills that quota.

I've been hearing Steve Bannon for Chief of Staff. Like that one a lot.

Who should be in Trump's cabinet?

My fantasy Cabinet (at least the major positions and advisors):

Sessions as SecDef (but, seriously, he gets first dibs on anything.)
Giuliani as Attorney General. (Christie is radioactive and should not be anywhere near a Trump Cabinet.)
Flynn as National Security Advisor.
Gingrich as SecState.
Carson at HHS.
Sheriff David Clarke at Homeland Security.
Conway as Chief of Staff.
Ann Coulter as WH Press Secretary.

I would honestly rather have Sessions as a key ally in the senate to pass Trump's America First agenda. There is no denying that Sessions is one of the key intellectual forces behind "Trumpism."

Ann Coulter as Press Secretary would be amazing.
