False. Completely and utterly false.
At the same time, the way Russian women see it is that if you come from a place that offers so much opportunity you cant be much of a winner if you are not either highly educated, well travelled or sitting on more money than the average local.

I agree that education gets you props there. The fact I had a doctorate let me still rank with highly educated people there despite the fact I actively played up that I was basically just getting by financially and did NOT own a house.

When nobody has money I guess you're stuck listening to your friends and it may help if they have half a brain so you don't go nuts.

Bro this is what I find so amazing about people who are critical of Russian women and call them cold hearted bitches all the time. The difference is that being a highly educated person or being a well travelled adventurer who had a purpose, for example, is a major plus for you with Russian women. They respect and admire achievement and the desire to make the most of things.

While with western women, they would not give the time of day to the same guy unless he was your typical douchebag too. They dont give a fuck about achievement, all they care about is how you make them feel and how good you make them look. Its all about vagina tingles and social status, with money being a major plus.

We are so used to that disgusting behaviour we have come to see it as normal.

Let me also chime in that if you like Russian women but don't want to deal with visa hassles, bad weather, and expensive cost of living in Moscow or Saint Pete, just head for a summer beach destination. Spend a month in a Turkish or Bulgarian resort and you'll have a new rotation of Russian girls every week, for a much lower cost and less hassle.
When they are in vacation mode and full of free liquor from the all-inclusive hotel bar, they are much easier to bang than in their hometown, where they have to worry about going to work next day, being judged by their friends for fucking a foreign sex tourist, etc.

Is that an unfair position for any of them to take? I dont think it is at all.

Russia is expensive though. Moscow and St Petersburg are two of the most expensive cities in the world now.

How much would it cost to rent a one bedroom apartment in Moscow on the better side of the city (that is near the nightlife)?

I have recently seen reports that place Moscow as one of the most expensive cities in the world. In fact, if I am not mistaken, Moscow is the city with the most billionaires in the world, so I imagine it is an expensive place to live.

What are the living costs there (in dollars) for food, transportation, etc.?

Really interested in hearing your responses.

Moscow has tons of hot women. Probably a greater concentration of them than anywhere else on the planet if you are to believe the reports and pictures of people who have been there. Just the cost of living there is so high. I kind of want to know what kind of a budget would be necessary to have success there.

Sorry Mixx, but two months won't cut it. As people here say, the learning curve is very steep, and you need to get some solid background before you start talking. Note that Spanish is ranked as difficulty 2, while Russian is ranked as 4 - same as Thai and Greek. And I can confirm this - I learned a little Spanish and it is much, much easier than Russian.

Yeah, but ANY latin country you as a Russian man go to, or American, does not matter, and you learn just VERY BASIC spanish greetings, the girls will warm-up and appreciate your efforts. It's just called being passionate about your culture and showing respect for those that so much as bothered to make an effort.

Nothing wrong with rewarding a foreigner learning a new language and culture and rewarding him with at the very least a smile; which costs you nothing!!

This is why many latin women call Europeans/Russians/Germans and Americans "frios".

Don't mean to hijack the thread but I believe Norway is the most expensive country in the world.

Switzerland is also a contender: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/price-big-...719-zurich

Just checked the hotel rates in Moscow near Tverskaya Street. Damn! They are high.

Granted, I mainly checked the prices of luxury hotels, but still. At least as expensive as NYC, if not somewhat higher.

Even the prices for renting apartments are pretty high. Again, I was just checking English sites for renting apartments in Moscow, but damn they are asking around $150-$200/night for 21 day+ stays for nicer apartments.

Roosh should take one for the team and visit Moscow and report back to us how the nightlife is. I've read the nightlife is legendary, with some of the biggest nightclubs in the world being located in Moscow. Although, considering how expensive it is, Roosh might have to make it a short trip.

Russians will appreciate your efforts too, it just doesn't come with the reaction you expect. A thing with Russian chicks is the "poker face" mentioned above. As I said it several times in past, for Russians it is considered a weak move to show their emotions (both positive and negative) to a stranger. To give you an idea, if a stranger gives me a check and tells me I just won 10M USD in a lottery, I'd just say "yeah, that's good" or something like that, not very different from if someone offered me a six pack of Corona. Of course she will eventually relax and warm up, and will get more open with her emotions, but don't expect this to happen in first 2-10 minutes of conversation.

However once you're past the 'stranger' barrier, you'll see a different reaction - when, for example, she introduces you to her friends and tells them you speak some Russian. There you'd get the reaction closer to what you'd get from latinas, because you're not a stranger to them - their friend vouched for you, and this means there is less reason to hide their emotions.

A smile in Russian culture has a very different meaning, it is basically the way she says she perceives you as a friendly person who isn't threatening her, and you're not an anonymous stranger anymore. You won't see a lot of people smiling on the streets in Russia because this is something which should be earned, not given away left and right - as it is common here in USA where a smile is pretty much meaningless and carries zero value.

When looking for accommodations, take a look at Moscow map. It must show the subway map, and you'll see the large circular subway (we call it "Koltsevaya" - i.e. "the ring). Once you cross the ring line going toward the city center, the rent goes up literally every feet you move into the direction. Generally the northern part is more expensive than southern part.

So, to get the best logistics, stay near the stations on this "Koltsevaya". It is where most of train stations (and trains to the airport) are located, and it gives you the best logistics choices.

You can easy spend $500 a night in Moscow, and we're not talking buying drinks for the whole bar. Just visiting upscale several clubs, and buying drinks for yourself in each club might take you there already.

Going to a non-Russian resort with the intention to bang Russian girls seems quite risky, with the potential for a high failure rate. Go the wrong week and you're fucked.

The wealth is very concentrated from what I read and see on news reports...so how is the expensive cost of living sustained in Moscow and St Pete....surely most of the people there are on wretched wages?
Social housing must still be huge to sustain the average population..or is everyone still living with ma and pa?

I mainly looked at apartment prices on English sites. These sites cater to travelers with money.

Obviously, if I could read Russian, I could find more affordable apartments in Moscow, but they would be in a ghetto or immigrant or working-class area. Now, I wouldn't want to live in the ghetto if I visited Moscow but to each his own.

After doing some research, I have seen that what drives Moscow's high cost of living is the super expensive real estate in the center of the city.

That expensive real estate is also closest to the transport links and with a massive population demand is high for it.

Cost of living is high for a few reasons. Inflation hit them hard over the last 20 years from time to time, and thats related to a lot of factors. The other is that income disparity is massive, while at the same time there are a lot of people there with a lot of money. You will see as much money in the centre of Moscow as you would anywhere. So when you as a tourist go there, its those central areas which are the most expensive. They also had a lot of migration into the city from within Russia, but also surrounding former soviet states, so it put even more pressure on land prices and kept wages low.

Moscow is more expensive than St Petersburg by about 20%. The rest of Russia tends to be a lot cheaper, its just western goods that are expensive everywhere else. There is also a shortage of property in St Petersburg and Moscow and very little building, so that drove up property prices too.

A lot of them are living in apartments they own or were handed down to them though, so the cost of rent is way lower for them. Under communist rule they were given homes. Many live with their families too, so you often have families of 4 living in two bedroom apartments. Most also use public transport or walk everywhere (which is why the women are all in shape). So their only expenses are basic utilities which are very cheap (exports energy), transport, food, etc. And vodka.

Look they have a hard life, but there is little unemployment. They just dont enjoy the sorts of luxuries we do as often as we do. So its a pretty miserable existence.

Russia is a crap place to live even if you have money. Its interesting, but its still one big industrial shit pit where the weather is horrible. The rural areas are amazing when you get to see them, but thats really not possible for most tourists unless you go on one of those guided tours or package holidays. When you make friends with Russians they often take you into the country side to show you different parts of it.

An average apartment is going to be between $85 & $150 a day in both Moscow and St Petersburg.

I was in St. Petersburg about a year ago with about 6 people on a work trip and thought I would offer up some nightlife tips on my first post:

The 2 best places we found were XXXX and Rossi's Bar.

XXXX there are a few of these in the city and from my experience they can be a bit different. Not sure which ones we went too but one was pretty upscale and the other was a bit more divey. The divey one had friendly/more approachable girls while the upscale one had better looking ones. Girls were pretty receptive. I hooked up with a couple of girls from here but nvr closed though one of my friends did.

Rossi's in my opinion was a bit better. Went here a few nights and the place was stacked(60/40 ratio) and the girls were hungry. We didn't even really have to do much work, multiple girls came up to us and asked us where we are from(no real game required). Most of us were dressed pretty well and we get pretty rowdy so we draw a bit of attention. I ended banging about 7.5 from here and who f'ed my brains out. Next night went back there and met this amazing girl(9ish) who wanted to meet up the next day but I was leaving. Overall I thought the girls here were about as aggressive as I have ever seen(this is b4 I went to Moscow)

Food wise I ate at one of the best restaurants of my trip there. I forget the name but I think most hotels know of it. Just ask for a Georgian Restaurant right in city center. It was prolly a quarter mile from Rossi's.

In terms of racism and anti americanism we didnt see any evidence of it at all. We were warned and lectured about it numerous times b4 the trip (we had a very mixed group (White guys, Asians and Mexicans, of my!) It was my feeling that most Russian's saw us as American's rather than our individual ethnic makeup. That being said I don't think I would want to be walking around by myself at night.

They're both good, but I actually preferred Moscow. I think Moscow might get less tourists than St. Pete (at least it seemed that way). Girls were pretty wild and drank like there was no tmrw. They were also very easy to approach (I'm guessing the alcohol had something to due with that) and were pretty excited/interested in talking to Americans...I went up to any cute girl and asked them if they speak english in russian(the only words I knew) and they seemed to think it was funny. Most spoke decent English and weren't bitchy at all...even if they didn't want to talk to you they rejected you in a very courteous way. I think russian's get that bitchy reputation from russian girls that have moved to the US.

Moscow is definitely more expensive though. Prolly dropped like $150 a night going out there. Some good places to check out in Moscow are Papa's Place, Che Bar and Real McCoy. Papa's place is one of the biggest meat markets I have ever seen. The top floor looks like a diner while the bottom is a sweaty danceclub/hookah lounge. Che Bar was kind of hard to get into and we had to slip the bouncer like $40. Real McCoy was also quite the meat market. I hooked up with a girl everynight I went out there, though I never closed in Moscow. Still had a great time there though, would love to go back but getting a visa and dealing with all that noise is a pain.

Thanks Entropy, great datasheet.

I'm in my 3rd week in SP and wish saw this data sheet earlier. Althoug I had tight game in my previous life, and had great results in Kiev, Russia has tested my abilities to the fullest.

To put things in perspective, I've already had tight game back in London. Had several polish GFs, picked up 18 year old Muscovite russians in high energy London clubs. Even picked up a Chanel model on the street (russian from SP) who was there for London fashion week.

In Turkey holidays, I picked up sex crazed Russian girls in Antalya. However, Roosh's concern of being lucky in terms of the right week in a hotel in Turkey is valid. If your hotel / week choice is not optimal in terms of quality, number of available targets, immediately venture into adjacent hotels. After trial and error, I learned this and my as a result picked a 30 year old Muscovite sex crazy chick who came to visit me in London after 2 months as well (pick 4 stars which will have more available younger available women rather than expensive 5 stars that caters towards richer families).

Spent one month in Niznhy Novgorod. German made Sapsan trains run from Saint Petersburg to Moscow and then to Niznhy Novgorod, that's it. Hence, I picked Niznhy Novgorod for a month (one of my ex Russian sex crazy MILF's was from there). And I wanted to see real russia with a bit of hedge (not far from Moscow, only 4 hours by train). No night life during the weekdays, none of my internet night life searces were correct, nobody speaks much english (5%). I still got a lay from a MILF, took another 18 yr old (from my Uni there) to home next day and fingering her but she was too timid). But the point is, I had to adjust my game a lot.

This month, I'm in Saint Petersburg and it was a wakeup call for me. Language barrier is huge. (yes, only 10% of population might speak english, and my survival level russian, which corresponds to around 200 hours class room and 200 hours of personal study hours) are not cutting it. In the UK or anyother Western European country, just talking (tight game, verbals) works like a charm, but here, I hit a wall and had to adjust my game heavily.

There is also one big element. In Ukraine or in any other country, maybe as a combination of my verbal abilities and the girls' language abilities, they never questioned how long I would be here (read: tourist timing is not preferred).

I've got several flakes from both Mamba, from day game, and from a night game environment. Especially with the night game, I wasn't exactly on high energy, but this was working fine in other countries.

Finally, as of yesterday, I'm already familiar with a few places, and finally started to crack the code here.

It all comes down to, IMHO, no matter how good english your 10% chance girl speaks, you have to rely heavily on non-verbal aspects of your game. The girls who can speak english are not pretty and even in the same set of 3 girls, my target would be not speaking much english, and the 2nd good looking girl or 3rd looking would be speaking English.

All in all, this country is teaching me to push my non-verbal game to the fullest.
