And that's probably the #1 reason you're single. Would you ever marry a black man without a degree?

By earning a degree, you've priced yourself out of most of the dating market.

Not being wrong but that sounds ridiculous. A person should always strive for education. Forgoing education so that one can remain eligible for marriage or whatever is a dumbass move. If a man asks you if you are educated and you feel it's a factor, you can always lie!

I do it if I feel a lizard will be intimidated. By the time you win the fcuker over, you can tell him the truth anyway! If he is truly the one for you, he won't give a fcuk about his lizard being educated! Shyt, it can only add value to the relationship as long as you observe patriarchal values within the relationship.

I don't really know the dynamics of South America, it sounds very skin tone driven, because I'm hearing some weird concepts coming from Latin residents.
However, my global take on things are..

I don't believe that white men are interested in marrying black lizards in general. I am seeing quite a few white males with black lizards these days (especially in the area of the dot that I live in) but on the whole, they go goo gaga more for white females or asian females as opposed to anything.

Why? I feel that they feel black lizards in general are too masculine for them. Too much ass, too much muscle tone and white males like their women overtly feminine (which is why they love asians) or white women.
The mulattos tend to have a softer look but the regular and darker ones..no no no.

They might want to bang a few but in terms of having one on their arm for the long haul, I'm not too certain.

Again, the social dynamics may be differently driven in Latin America so I may be completely off. But let's call a spade a spade.

I have white friends and latin friends and one day we had a casual discussion on about their views on black lizards.
My Latin friend said that he finds black lizards to be too rough (but that maybe restricted to the Toronto black lizards etc). He finds that offputting.

The ideal of beauty amongst white men obviously seems to be the white lizard but they'll settle for a light Latin female (Jessica Alba for instance) or a mulatto (Alicia Keys).

From your picture, Chocolate, you got a nice looking face and decent body. But, you are still black and you gotta realise that's a factor.
If Latin males generally aren't into black women then shytt..I don't know what to suggest.
I guess what you are saying is that black latin women only marry poor men?

Chocolate, you may want to plug back into the black community and see what's popping there. But maybe black men in Brasil are generally interested in the whiter Latin females or the mulattos.

My question to you would be: How are your female peers of your complexion or darker, faring with the men? If they are doing well i.e. in long term relationships, how are they different from you? Are they educated i.e with a degree? Or are they without a degree?

Second question: What type of men are they hitched up with? Are they whiter Latin males, mulatto males or regular black Latin males?

Third question: What circles are they involved in?

Does one see many black females with Euro Latin males in Brasil? If so, what are the circumstances? Are the circumstances normal or there is some other factor involved?

If you can scrape up the cash somehow to travel outside, do it. I know it's not easy in a third world country however, I feel your pain.
If you are into non black men, then as Speakeasy said, Italian men do love black lizards.
My female cousin visited there and said she had a great time. All the black lizards I know always have a great time in Italy.

You might want to see how you fare in Portugal as well, if you can make it there. You have the advantage of speaking the language (give or take a few nuances) and Portuguese men like to fcuk indiscriminately (just look how mixed Angola is) so something is telling me you might find your Prince Charming there. Again, my take on Portugal is speculative so you might want to do some strong research there.
Now for my black male friends who did visit Italy on the other hand...[Image: dodgy.gif]

I've never met Chocolatinha, but it may be personal factors at work here. Couldn't really say until I've had a face to face conversation with her. It's hard to believe there are no suitable guys for her in a city as big and international as Sao Paulo. Seems there should be something for everyone there.

To the guy that said she educated herself out of the dating market. I can't agree with that at all. Afro-Brazilians have it pretty bad economically in Brazil. The last thing I'd tell any black Brazilian is not to get an education and try to move up the ladder unless we want that group to remained doomed to living in favelas.

Well, I guess I have been meeting guys who want one night stand only. Also, mid-class men are not used to, in manner of speaking, approach a black girl, since to be black and poor are synonyms... When I go out to a place with more white men, I'm less approached then in a spot with more black men. But, this is another tread.
Yesterday, I did a quindim, a egg puding, because this is the Father's day week and my dad loves it.

Nice quindim, Ms. Chocolate. What else can you do? Cocadas? Pé de Moleque? You could teach the blokes here some Festa Junina recipes so they can impress the girls with their international knowledge on desserts...

I think other things cause a woman to rank a man up there in terms of social status.

However, things may be different in LatAm...

There are different sources of status. Education (and a well paying career) confers one type of status to men. Being a thugged out drug dealer confers status in a different social context.

Educated women value the type of status that education confers in their men when looking for an LTR. This limits their options, hence the pricing out that Samseau mentioned.

Not saying education is ever the wrong way to go; but being educated does not add much to a woman's chances when she seeks commitment from a high value man.

Mrs. C's best bet may be to find a man significantly older than her.

I can see where Mrs C. is coming from.

I´m from the upper middle class in SP (that would be equal to middle class in the US or a bit lower, I think) and it is very rare to find black chicks in my social class. They are more common to the middle class, though, as are black men.

Right on. Do you remember how many blacks were in class during high school?

What is going on is: Mrs C., just like every woman, is looking to hook up with men from the social class directly above her (upper middle), which is composed mainly of white and asian men in Sao Paulo.

Not really. I'm looking for a man in the same interests and lifestyle OR above, not ONLY above

I´m guessing she´s 28-30 years old, so she´s looking for 30+ men. Trouble is, those men are all in the "player zone": they have enough money, style and experience to fuck and date women that are younger and more desirable, so it is not likely that Mrs C. will be able to become more than a fuck buddy for them.

I'm 25. The range is almost the same.

Also, this begs the question: how come Mrs C is 28 years of age and still single? If she was serious about marriage, she should have gotten a serious boyfriend long ago, at 19-20 years of age. It´s clear she has committed a lot of mistakes in her life (to be more precise, 8-10 year of mistakes! LOL!).

Of course I had a boyfriend a while ago. But he was far away of being "THE ONE". You are assuming that I never had any experience...

@Moma

From your picture, Chocolate, you got a nice looking face and decent body. But, you are still black and you gotta realise that's a factor.

Yes, I'm black, I'd dated black and white men and this is not the end of the world.

I guess what you are saying is that black latin women only marry poor men?

No, no. I'm saying that black people are poorer on average. Like we say here: "a rich black man... It must be Pelé! lol", therefore black women and men stay together because they are in the same social class. the prejudice in Br is about classes, and if the most of black are poor... there you go.

Chocolate, you may want to plug back into the black community and see what's popping there. But maybe black men in Brasil are generally interested in the whiter Latin females or the mulattos.

Looking by my male cousins, they are all dating white girls (blonds or light skinned brunettes)

My question to you would be: How are your female peers of your complexion or darker, faring with the men? If they are doing well i.e. in long term relationships, how are they different from you? Are they educated i.e with a degree? Or are they without a degree?

Despite my cousin, which is not educated, I just know one black girl and she is fine, she has a boyfriend (black).

Third question: What circles are they involved in?
My cousin is my way around: she just finished high school, she does not work or study, dates a looser, depends on everybody to get things done for her.

Does one see many black females with Euro Latin males in Brasil? If so, what are the circumstances? Are the circumstances normal or there is some other factor involved?

Again, it depends on social class. For myself I don't care if they are white, black, spotted, checked. I like men.

Do black brazillian women have children young as opposed to white brazillians or is it the same? When I say young, I am talking mid teens to early twenties?

If they do have children young, is it within marriage or do they have baby father drama?

Again Moma... It's all about classes and education.
The more educated, less children and the latest the woman get pregnant.
Some get married early or have a kid while she is a teen. It depends a lot... But, IMO, according to which kind of women the gringoes are conected with, if you date 27+ girls, you will see some kids around. And there is a drama for sure.

It's not the level of education that matters, it's the lack of employment opportunities that hinder the success of uneducated males which makes them unattractive as long-term partners.

Now why is Mrs Chocolate still single? She's cute, in shape, smart, nice and can cook. That's a winner.

We'd all kill for that type of woman here in America because they're practically nonexistent. Maybe in Brazil she simply has more competition. We all know that such traits are a lot more common in other parts of the world.

Are they really non existent in America? What happens to the thousands, maybe millions of immigrants that come to America every year? Out of the 300 million Americans, how many are females? And out of those females how many of them are immigrants? Studies show that there is a difference between immigrant behaviours as opposed to born Americans. Can't they cook or do they lose these skills once they get their green card?

Again, I have fam who have immigrated to America and they continue to cook up a storm.

Cultural assimilation is mostly a myth. Most stick with their race and keep the habits of their race. Assimilation may happen among europeans and americans cross migrating but it is not true for the more common third world to first world migrations.

I've consistantly found immigrant girls to be excellent ltr material. They're much more feminine that western girls, can and will cook clean and wash for you unprompted and because of their uncertainty with the cultural norms of their new country it's a lot easier to get laid. Plus there're less fatties among them which is a huge bonus.

I know why dudes say the things about black lizards, white lizards etc. I use to hammer this white lizard. She'd complain about oh, you are squeezing me too hard oww you are leaning on me..etc etc.

I can't squeeze a black lizard hard enough. Last black lizard I hit, was biting my lip hard and wouldn't let go during sex and was also trying to body wrestle me while she was riding me. She seemed insistent on physically challenging me during sex.

How many non black hombres in here like to struggle with their reptiles during copulation?

Since this is Mrs. Chocolate's thread, I will say that she seems very feminine to me. I've seen her pics and she has very nice skin that looks smooth and flawness. I don't think a girl's skin color is as important as how nice the skin is. Some women look like they have been out in the sun too many years and their skin looks speckled. Or they have scars and uneven tone. Then you have that rare girl that has baby smooth skin with no wrinkles and a nice even tone all over. I don't care if she's dark black or milky white. When a girl has that nice even skin tone with no wrinkles or blemishes, I'm like dayum! Beautiful! Mrs. Chocolate is one of those rare women(of any race) with great skin. She should be proud.

Well they do say to keep a man you gotta know how to cook for him. . .

. . . that way he gets the itis and is too lazy to leave you

Just kidding (sort of) but most American women who can't cook honestly have no idea of what to do to keep a man other than sex.

Also, I always thought black women, especially the darker ones, were known to have better skin than other women, also age much better.

I've been involved with women of every color in the U.S. and never had a problem getting a latina or a filipina to cook or clean for me. A lot of times I don't even have to ask them to do it, its part of their culture. Even some of the ones who were born in this country were schooled by their mothers on how to keep their men happy. These weren't my girlfriends either, just girls I had been seeing casually.

Gotta love hispanic culture, men want to be men and women want to be women
