Hey guys, I've recently been on a role, and have a one month free period coming up from Dec-Jan. I have enough money saved up to travel somewhere, and I thought this would be a good opportunity to go practice my dating game since I don't have that much experience with that.

I'm planning on pipelining through online resources and going on high volume of dates through that method but I need to pick a country.

I was orginially going to practice in the phillipeans but things have been crazy lately, so I'm looking at either the Dominican Republic or maybe some other SE Asian country.

I'm not down to go to South America because I had a bad experience in Peru with some bad people so Im staying away from that area for now.

Good post, but this applies to all parts of life. Successful people make mistakes, realize they made the mistake, then make sure they never make the same mistake again. Exactly, a lot of guys from the West go to SEA or some other dirt poor country in SA, get laid and then return thinking they have mad game or are just super attractive to the local women. It's hilarious.

Is it really that difficult to figure out the difference?

On Tinder/OLD you have advantages such as:

1) You have plenty of time to craft a witty/humorous response
2) Your pics can be seriously airbrushed and you may not look anything like it in real life
3) Your body language is irrelevant
4) Your tone, the way you carry yourself, escalate with physical gestures etc are all irrelevant because there's no way to convey these with high fidelity to the other person

There is no such thing as "true value", it all depends on the market. In your home country you're just some guy, in SEA, you're the White God who can potentially rescue her from the shithole she was born in. At the very least, being seen with you elevates her status in the eyes of her peers.

It's great you got laid, and if pure sexual experience and notch count is what you're looking for, then by all means head on over. But don't tell me you're developing serious game in the process, because you don't need any to begin with in that environment.

That's exactly what I'm saying - someone with zero game can flirt, get matches on Tinder, and even get a date - much further than he could had he tried to approach that same girl IRL during the day time. In other words, someone relying entirely on Tinder to get to the first stage - a date - could well be getting there without being very good at all at real game. Getting dates via Tinder is not always a true measure of the level of your game. Just stay the hell away from the malecon area of Santo Domingo and pretty much other popular tourist area and the Dominican people show a lot of sense and class. Far fewer scammers outside of the tourist areas as well.

I agree as well. The best way to get better with women is to be around women. If you're new at game and trying to do pickup in Miami or Barcelona or something you are going to get immediately crushed. Heading to SE Asia gives you confidence, lets you see how women behave and gives you experience. You may not learn "pickup" aspect but as much as people here on the forum here hate to hear it, that aspect doesn't matter nearly as much as it used to with dating apps so easily available now. The most important part of your game is to learn to be comfortable around women, escalate, make them feel at ease etc. For this SE asia can't be beat, as rejection is practically impossible if you're a foreigner.
