There's zero evidence for this. Stop stating things as fact that there's zero evidence of. Manning sued to get what he wanted far before his sentence. He announced his transgender desire in 2013 after he was sentenced. His sentence was commuted nearly 4 years later.

Of course they are trying to spin him being a terrible person. He embarrassed the MSM by actually doing what journalist are supposed to do instead of being propaganda whores for The State. The craven and stupid attack that which exposes their mendacious actions.

Pretty typical and reflected in society today. It is why there is so little outcry about this. People who behave this way themselves can't see this as bad behviour without addressing it in themselves, something their egos won't allow.

This is a huge win for The State. Journalist will self-censor to an even greater degree and more to the point, will parrot whatever the governments say out of fear of reprisal for not doing so. The law is no protection, so the effectively the law is dead. Has been for a while but now it is very obvious.
