I live in California and my sample ballot arrived in the mail today. The sample ballot mirrors the paper ballot your get whether you vote by mail or in person. This being California, there are a number of propositions on the ballot, placed after gaining enough signatures by the public. These frequently include bond measures or specifying how certain tax revenue is to be spent. This year though, there's Prop 60. Prop 60, if passed, would require adult film stars to wear condoms during the filming of sexual intercourse.

A similar measure passed on the ballot in the city of LA a few years back, and in response, pornographers left the Porn Capital of The World in Chatsworth and moved to neighboring jurisdictions.
Why anyone cares enough to get this on the ballot is beyond me.
So I ask you, what is the most ridiculous, inane, asinine or just downright stupid thing you have to vote on this year?
