Similar to Uber's concept, you can be a telemarketer from anywhere in the world as long as you have a smartphone and a quiet room. They pay 30 cents per minute you are on the phone ($18/hr) and it looks like they offer sales incentives as well. They give you new sales campaigns (AKA sales scripts) as they need you, so you aren't pitching the same crap all the time.
For anyone who has never worked at a call center, it's fucking hard and the people you are calling typically wish you would go kill yourself. However, it certainly builds character and improves your ability to think on your feet dramatically. It also helps you become more assertive and persuasive when speaking with others, and makes you less scared of confrontation with angry people, which are great for both business and game.
Has anyone experimented with this? I'm going to apply as a caller this week. For those who have a simple product that any cheerful, energetic idiot could sell with some practice, it may be a great tool for your business as well.
