Tbilisi September 2016

This datasheet wont be game heavy as i was with family 99% of the time.

But someone might be interested in these places.

Just spent a couple of weeks in Georgia. Will write about Batumi later.

Tbilisi:

Flew in through Turkey. You can also do it through Athens, or Yerevan, etc...No visa required for most countries.

I would describe Tbilisi as a mix between Paris, Kiev and Istanbul.

Its a pretty nice city, i must say whoever is running this place is doing an amazing job. Theyre creating a very beautiful, clean, organized city, you see workers everywhere, they have great taste in architecture and are renovating the streets and buildings and making amazing looking neighborhoods. Some streets are straight out of Paris.

Of course in the suburbs it becomes a different story, but still.

Theres A LOT of arab tourists here, iranian and turkish too. A lot who seem to live here too.
AT night and online you see some more russian.

Where to stay:

David Aghmaneshebli avenue is a very nice street but its full of arab tourists and turkish presence and doesnt have any major touristic or nightlife options.

Rustaveli avenue is nice too but its nightlife options are spread out and in streets parallel to it.

I would just stay in Old town, The nightlife there is concentrated in Shardin street.

Getting around:

JUst get a metro card. Very easy to use with only two metro lines, costs 0.5 lari per trip (1 dollar = 2.31 lari).

Taxis are cheap too, but if you hail one from street theyll generally tell you its 10 lari, while a trip inside the town shouldnt be more than 5 lari. So either negotiate or download the app: Agora taxi (Like uber with less drivers and you pay in cash)

The people:

Georgians are polite and generally nice, you dont feel threatened or scammed. BUt, i must say i didnt find them "friendly" as most people say. Theyre more poised and cold, more like slavic i thought in their attitude, without aggressiveness. Maybe in the villages its different, or depending on who you interact with or what youre like yourself.

The girls:

Mostly an endless sea of 5s and 6s. Not much quality here. They kinda lean hipsterish but not in a boyish way, rather in a cute early 90s way of dressing.

I did not interact with any local girl during my stay. didnt particularly feel drawn to and it never happened either.

You struggle to find 7s here, i only saw two in my entire stay that id consider attractive girls or whose face i remember. One was with a guy and the other i hooked up with.

Tourist girls are mixed between some russians and iranians and whatnot looking to get loose.

The food:

Thats the highlight of the trip and city for me. So many good restaurants and dishes.

Id recommend barbarestan, pilini piliti something, funicular complex, organique josper bar in old town, etc....

View from funicular:

Day trips:

You can take day trips to kazbeg mountain and see a monastery there, or to the UNESCO village of Mtskheta and see another monastery, or to Gori (hometown of STalin)

The nightlife:

Keep in mind i was going out at midnight. But in general the nightlife is weak, and not much people outside of the weekend. Its empty and ratios are terrible in weekdays. In general its a bunch of pubs with live bands, and some clubs spread around.

Cafe Gallery near Rustaveli: maybe im an idiot but couldnt find it

Calypso something near Rustaveli: Couldnt find it either.

Mtzkvale something like that: supposed to be the after hours place, went there and it was dark and empty and noone around. Maybe i didnt find it either.

Hangar: Sucks, full of groups of out of shape expats.

Theres one next to this building thats like an outdoor bar full of hipsters that was always busy. Didnt go in though as it didnt seem like my vibe:

Ekele street near Hangar and cafe Garibadze: nice if you want cafes, small restaurants, and wine bars. All seated. Good place for a date.

Shardin street in old town: Theres basically two streets. One mostly restaurants and second bars and clubs: Some venues i went to there:

Mac larens irish pub: went twice, sucked the first time. second time there was a live band and 3 groups of girls sitting down, but i chickened out.

Assa hall: outdoor tables with live bands. Met my only bang there. An asian russian (again). She was among the only hot girls i saw that trip, so not too bad. But generally the place is nice but not good for game.

El Centro: outdoor bar that seemed to have a lot of quality when i saw it. Doorman was an ass to me and didnt let me in. Went again with the russian and i was both the best dressed and had the hottest girl there and didnt let me in again. Thankfully it didnt ruin the vibe but no idea what thats about.

Unique club: Next to centro. This is your best bet when everywhere seems empty. Three floors, restaurant/karaoke bar, night club, and rooftop lounge. Lots of people, lots of tourists getting drunk and letting loose, etc... I didnt pull but if you have dance game you might. Was getting eye fucked a lot when i was with a girl however.

Theres skybar, bassiani, etc... clubs spread out accross the city but didnt get chance to check them out.

My experience :

Met one attractive russian in Assa by total chance, got the bang later. Went out with another ukrainian from Tinder my last day, was positive but didnt have time to convert.

Thats basically all my female interaction consisted of, but like i said i wwas with family. City is nice and pleasant, would return but not with game on my mind.

I went to Georgia last summer to do a road trip and absolutely loved it. The country has amazing scenery, great people, good food and even better wine. It's also affordable. Tbilisi is a gem. I went to one of the best techno clubs I've ever been to: Bassiani. It's located under a football stadium. Think of a dark maze with few lights that ends up in big hall with minimal lights. They did a great job in their set up for light and sound. Didn't try to game anywhere. There are some cute girls here and there. I got a cute 16 yo that gave me her number and showed quite some interest, but well ... I don't wanna end up in jail.
