Facebook.com Now Requiring Photo ID Verification

You know those "like" and share buttons on every page?

Facehook and Oogle already track you up and down the internet.

They don't need ID's for burners because you already have them cross contaminated with your real account.

Data Sheet Maps | On Musical Chicks | Rep Point Changes | Au Pairs on a Boat
Captainstabbin: "girls get more attractive with your dick in their mouth. It's science."
Spaniard88: "The "believe anything" crew contributes: "She's probably a good girl, maybe she lost her virginity to someone with AIDS and only had sex once before you met her...give her a chance.""

I'd recommend using Privacy Badger, it's an add on/extension for chrome or firefox that can block a lot of those trackers.

There are several other extensions like that you can use to to preserve some privacy like Ad Block Plus, Https Everywhere, Flash Control, and Web RTC Leak Prevent

I wonder if a legal scholar could weigh in on the implications of using a fake ID to verify a facebook account. By fake ID, I mean something that looks like an ID but isn't claiming to be official. Like a company ID badge for Vandelay Industries, latex importer and exporter.

There are multiple options for verifying ID, such as utility mailing address, library card, student ID, etc. Not sure if all those things are totally illegal to forge. Also not sure if you could get in trouble for using it for the sake of maintaining a social media account... I would like someone with more legal knowledge to comment on this as well.

Having to provide ID to use a social media platform would be a bridge too far for me. I'm sure it will be a requirement for everybody one day soon. Facebook and Google are part of the political system now, actively aiding Liberal political parties in many countries, so that's who you'd be giving your ID to.

Best comment from that article:

What Facebook is really saying here is, “If you don’t use your real name then your account is of no financial value to us and our true customers (advertisers), so we must force you to do so to protect our bottom line.”

A hospital badge for Dr. Von Nostrand would be more legit, no?

I still have a Facebook account but I only log on a few times a year at most. Haven't posted anything in years. When I do look at it, it seems to be a few power users, a few users with businesses or groups, and hundreds of dead accounts.

Facebook was cool for a bit back in th day, but it went to shit the moment they opened it up to high schoolers and everyone else.

Women these days think they can shop for a man like they shop for a purse or a pair of shoes. Sorry ladies. It doesn't work that way.

Women are like sandwiches. All men love sandwiches. That's a given. But sandwiches are only good when they're fresh. Nobody wants a day old sandwich. The bread is all soggy and the meat is spoiled.
