And the wretches celebrate on social media. Leftists, of course, but also MGTOW (other leftists).

She was an original culture warrior

Had never heard of her, she sounds like a great lady, thanks for bringing her to our attention Eskhander.

She was a big deal at the college I went to in St. Louis.

Her family has major money and owns tons of land in a part of st. Louis called Ladue. Do not drive in Ladue if you aren't white.

She doesn't like the gays at all, but one of her sons is gay.

Her family owns a big craft beer company that has restaurants and whatnot. A few years ago I read that there was some big legal fallout amongst the family members over keeping called Schlafly beer because Phyllis didn't want her name associated with alcohol. She wound up losing.

That's what I know about this lady.

Aloha!

St. Louis University? That was where all the pretty catholic girls attended. The other major college in St. Louis is Washington University where all the rich liberals send their kids to keep them out of trouble.
Well do I remember Ladue. You could shoot your spouse in that posh tree-lined area and get off Scott-free, just don't try driving a car through it that's more than three years old.

Black people might get an unreasonable ticket driving through Ladue.

White people might die going into East St. Louis, North City, walking by the arch, or wandering Ferguson, or straying off Washington Ave at night, or walking with their girlfriend in the City after dark.

Man those white people are just so racist. Wanting communities where their women and children are safe.

Gosh darn those racist whites. And especially those Conservative Whites!

How dare they not want Gays to be able to adopt Children! How dare they think marriage is between a Man and a Woman! What racists!

And don't get me started on their 82 year old women who had 6 well raised children!

How dare their women reproduce with white men and tell other women to marry instead of pursuing souless careers!

What racists!

And how dare anyone not celebrate Kona shit posting on an old woman who died who was a Conservative Christian! That's just what the new America is all about!

Calling whites racists everyday and even right after they die!

Wash U. This was the 90s and the liberal thing was just a facade. It was people like Phyllis, the Anheuser Buschs and the Danforths that ran the show. They tried to balance out their conservativism by funding the place.

Wash U's idea of "diversity" was all of the mega rich Indians and Pakistanis that went to the medical school. I was the brownest guy there next to them.

The school is surrounded by an area that you have a better chance of getting shot than you do in Afghanistan. When I left the campus, I sure as hell had to have my student ID. They didn't want any diverse people wandering in from Nelly's neighborhood.

Aloha!

Where Nelly grew up, University City, is the safest majority black area in St Louis and as a white guy, I always felt pretty safe there. Kona is right though, the super rich families of st Louis are a special breed.... Inbred, fake liberal, and with behind the scenes debauchery on the level of eyes wide shut.

I have an associate that works in ladue. Let's just say the vibe there is a little strange. Surprisingly, there is a lot of old money in st Louis. As for the eyes wide shut stuff, my associate has already been invited into one of those new agey cults within a few months. Loren, are you still in St. Louis?

David took his men with him and went out and killed two hundred Philistines and brought back their foreskins. They counted out the full number to the king so that David might become the king's son-in-law. Then Saul gave him his daughter Michal in marriage. 1 Samuel 18:27

You guys make Missouri sound like a massive shithole of a state. What are the redeeming aspects of it? (if any)

Eh there's not really much going on out in the rural areas where I'm from but KC and St. Louis are pretty cool places, they are also the most liberal parts of the state. Hmm let's see here low housing costs, cheaper food and gas, decently nice people, if you want cheap land there's still quite a bit that can be bought up. Down here in the ozarks the scenery is nice. Meh it's a boring state but it is home and I'll always be partial to it.

Her book Feminist Fantasies was a great read and one of the first books I read when becoming an anti feminist. She will be sorely missed.

I can think of a few:

The east side has some of the raunchiest strip joints you can go to world wide. There are massive casinos if you gamble. There is a great sports culture in st.louis if that's your thing. If you have a Washington university Id you can skip the tour and go straight to the hospitality section of the anheuser Busch brewery. All the Busch beer you can drink, and they take you back to the dorms in a shuttle bus.

The problem is the huge racial devide. People like the lady this thread is about worked really hard for a long time to keep things that way. They just don't like to talk about it.

I think it was Frontenac MO, right next to Ladue, where the cop looked at my license and said "damn I didn't know they had Mexicans in Hawaii." Just not the smartest of people.

I'm kind of anti-St. Louis. I was a kid when I lived there and didn't understand the big picture.

Oh, lowest cigarette prices in us, great barbecue, an ice cream place called Ted drewes and meth labs everywhere.

Aloha!

Lived there in the 80's, sounds like it hasn't changed much. Central West End was teh gey and you didn't drop your keys around any of those bars. There were lezzie bars that refused entrance to men. Most of the nightclub action was on the East Side of Old Man River. You had to remember to stay out of East St. Louis, the town that had an election between a dead man and an undertaker.
Did you ever read the "Evening Whirl"? It was a newspaper published on the East Side that you could find in all the liquor stores. It was published in ghetto-ease. Typical feature corrections: "The story last week which showed a picture of the killer was wrong, that was the victim".
