French Police force woman to remove "burkini"

How is forcing women not to wear a Burka in France any different than forcing women to wear a Burka in Saudi Arabia?

Ban the entire religion outright or don't do anything at all, these half-assed measures are only going to make things worse.

"French court overturns burkini ban after worldwide outrage"

"FRANCE’S top administrative court overturned a ban on burkinis in a Mediterranean town, in a decision Friday that should set legal precedent regarding a swimsuit crackdown that has divided the country and provoked shock around the world."

Which is precisely what the elites want. Pretend to do something to protect the native population, while at the same time enrage and further radicalize the Muslim minority.

As much as I'm against immigration, the decision of the French court to overturn the ban is valid. The government can't tell people what to wear, unless their choice of clothing clashes with public decency.

The real problem is the uncontrolled immigration and ongoing replacement of native populations of Europe with third-world savages. End that and burkinis won't pose a problem anymore.

Ostentatiously showing allegiance to Islam IS against public decency.

Of course it can and it does all the time. You can't walk around naked, you can't wear a policeman uniform (impersonating), in some places in the US I've been told you can't go in military garb (stolen valor). You're not allowed to mask your face either in most European countries, you're also not allowed to tattoo your face and many other things.

A burkini ban law is impossible to apply, but the real question is why this woman chose to go by herself to the beach in a burkini, a city which was devastated by an islamist terrorist attack just weeks prior. It's a deliberate provocation, most likely instigated by islamists to get these exact images. A muslim woman who would wear a burkini would never go to the beach without male family members.

A good test of a legal rule is that if you look like an asshole enforcing it under any circumstances, it's no good.
