Taiwan for someone WITHOUT an Asian fetish

I have been in Taipei, Taiwan for a few days. I arrived here at one in the morning of Saturday morning. So far I like the city. It's very safe and the people are friendly. I went out to Club Wax on Saturday it was pretty cool and cheap. There was an entrance fee of 600 NT which is about US$22 with an open bar. I ended up getting a little to bent and I vaguely remember making out with some white foreign chick.

Hung over as shit all day on Sunday I decided to go out again because it was a National Holiday yesterday so on Sunday night a lot of clubs had events. I went to Room 18 which is pretty expensive club. It's in the XinYi district which is a cool district. There is a shopping mall and nightclubs near Room 18. Also you can smoke in the clubs here which cool if you smoke cigs. There were a lot of cute girls at this club but I over drank and didn't have much luck.

Yesterday I was at Starbucks because the company apartment I'm staying in doesn't have wi fi. I saw some cute Taiwanese girl and asked her something about the country code for the wi fi password. I sat across form her and ended up talking to her for a while and I could tell she was interested. An hour later I was fucking her in my apartment. I was surprised about how fast she tossed it up. I plan on breaking down a data sheet once I get more of a feel for the city.

Well done on the score...I find a lot of Oriental girls cute but a bit cliquey and stand offish...but maybe that's in the west.
Is it starting to compare to Sao Paulo in the sexy nightlife stakes??

Seeing that Asians and Sampa has been mentioned in the same sentence, a bit of OT I realize but would appreciate your input on this Tony, how do the Japa (asians) in Sampa fare with the rest of girls there? Are they colder/more stand offish than the non asians? Thanks.

@VP I didn't have to much experience gaming Japanese Brazilian girls in SP. I hooked up with a half Chinese and Brazilian chick one night at Vegas but she seemed more Brazilian than asian. From my experience it seems like the Japanese Brazilian girls are a little more reserved compared to B girls. They seem like they are different than the Japanese from Japan. I read a really interesting article about the Japanese Brazilians who migrated back to Japan and how they were treated by the native Japanese people.

I think Japanese Brazilians have integrated very well into Brazilian culture and from what I read in that article they are more Brazilian than Japanese. I think the Japanese Brazilians in Japan experience some discrimination because they aren't looked at as "real" Japanese. I read that sometimes they get looked at like they couldn't make it in Japan and they returned so they couldn't make it in Brazil.

Tony I'm really interested in ANY information you can give me on teaching, living, working etc in Taiwan, I know an American guy who was out there for a while working at something or other and he loved it. I want to get away somewhere and I'm exploring my options.

I don't have any teaching experience but I can get a basic certificate quick enough if that helps. Is it neccessary or will they give a job to anyone who speaks English?

@KOS just google English schools in Taiwan. Do you have a degree? You just need a Degree and I think a lot of schools want some experience. Just start sending your CV out to schools. It could help to get a basic certificate. Also try to tutor some ESL students in your country, I'm assuming you're in Scotland. Is there any ESL schools near where you live? Also you could post an add on the internet or something. It would help to get some experience before coming.

I have an honours degree and can easily get a basic 20hr TEFL certificate for free which I will in the next month or two. Experience I don't have.

What's the pay like to standard of living? I don't need nor expect to live like a king but if I'm comfortable, enough cash to have some fun at the weekends etc it's be fine. Also any extras thrown in, flights, apartments etc?

Are the women receptive to the white man? I've had a lot of fun in places like Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia etc but I don't picture Taiwan being quite the same, maybe you can clarify. I sort of have this image of the girls being quite conservative, shy, cliquey and not too wild.

If I'm going to live somewhere my basic requirements are that I've enough not to be scrapping by (just to enjoy the weekends etc), the women are interested and there's plenty to do both day and night.

If you guys go to Taiwan look for inspector 32. Her calling card is always in my jeans when I buy them. If she's hot let me know. She's been in pants long enough, I need to get in hers. [Image: banana.gif]

Thanks for that Tony. Btw, is Liberdade where most of the Japas hang out in SP or they're pretty much all over this gigantic megalopolis? Which area has the highest % of Japas in SP?

@VP Liberdade is considered Japan Town in Sao Paulo and is a pretty cool place. There is a lot of good Japanese restaurants and there is also a street fair on the weekends there. You can find Japanese people all over Sao Paulo but Liberdade is the main area. Also I think you could find a lot that live close to Liberdade like in Vila Mariana or other surrounding areas.

@KOS look on the previous page of this thread I answered the question for Dash that has to do with pay and hours. So far I think the women are pretty receptive and it hasn't been hard for me to meet girls. I don't know how it compares to the other countries you listed because I have never been to any of those countries.
