After the circus I reported
here, I wanted to report on a 'situation' developing in Lisbon, Portugal's capital.
I take the time to report this because Portugal is such an insignificant country on the world stage that these don’t make international news, but our problems mirror what is going on elsewhere in Western Europe, with one difference which is we barely have any Muslims, and even less from the Middle East/North Africa. Our immigration/integration problems are all from sub-Saharan Africa (where we had our colonies) and most of these people don’t seem to have any religion (some might be technically Catholic, but I mostly to take advantage of indiscriminate charity given by Catholic institutions). Strangely enough the only Africans that seem to behave, have stable families and communities, jobs, etc, are the Muslims (something akin to the Nation of Islam types in America) - at least for now. But give or take, the behaviors and social pathologies of our African communities are the exact same that are found everywhere else across Western societies. Of course, not all. I know many black people who are well integrated, speak the language perfectly, work for a living, etc. But the majority suffer from the problems we all know: welfarism, single-motherhood, criminality, near or complete illiteracy, etc. Ironically, I find the most vocal critics of this community to be the blacks that ‘escaped’ and made something of themselves, and they hate the victim mentality and the people (white and black) that promote it, and are utterly ruthless when criticizing their own - and of course, you never hear from them in the media.
With all of this in mind, here's the story:
Early Monday morning, Police is called in to a ghetto (called Jamaica Neighborhood, and inhabited by Africans immigrants of 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation) on the outskirts of Lisbon to resolve a dispute between two women that are fighting in the aftermath of a birthday party. This was early Monday morning. Barely anyone actually works there hence why the late party. The place is a den of crime and welfare, a scenario that is replicated in several neighborhoods in the peripheries of big cities across Portugal’s mainland.
Upon arrival, and as usual, the police is met with violence: stones thrown at their car, when they get out they get assaulted and, obviously, they act to defend themselves and defuse the situation. They use their batons and, eventually, shoot their shotguns to the air.
Despite not having jobs, all of them are equipped with high end smartphones, so as usually happens a video is released showing police using violence against the ghetto dwellers. It's conveniently cut so that you only see their response, and not the initial attacks they suffered. Far-left parties (currently part of the government), and criminal organizations such as SOS Racism (which is nothing more than a vehicle for black on white racism and to excuse any bad black behavior with white racism) pile on the police, call them 'pieces of shit' in official statements (literally) and stop just short of inciting riots.
The day after there is a protest in the city center against ‘police violence’. A few hundred black people shouting ‘black power’ and being openly racist against the natives. No one finds this strange, at least not in the mainstream media. Of course if a group of white guys went on the street to protest and shout ‘white power’ we wouldn’t hear the end of it, or if a similar group was doing something like this in an African country, it would be international news. But Black Supremacy is totally fine of course, even when they are doing it in someone else’s country.
The protest against violence turns violent itself, in an unsurprising and ironic twist. Rocks and ‘fireworks’ are thrown at the police, which is forced to, again, use some violence against them and shoot rubber bullets into the air. This again is painted by the far-left as an overblown response. Police are just supposed to take it I guess, since black lives matter, despite no lives being threatened. I underline, again, that until now they only fired shots in the air (twice), and only once with live ammunition. Still, that’s not good enough. There is by now an ‘investigation’ into alleged police violence, yet no investigation into organized protester violence (if, as they claim, police initiated the violence in the protest, where did those fireworks come from? Did they have them just in case? Oh well).
We also have to understand that the people that protested are definitely not smart enough to organize anything. You might say this is racist, but it was obvious to anyone once you’ve heard them being interviewed. You couldn’t even understand what they were saying most of the time. One girl was going on about ‘fighting AGAINST human rights’, saying it over and over, as she had already forgotten what her handlers had instructed her to say. Knowing the media always chooses their interviews carefully and to give you a false picture, if this was the best they could get you have to wonder what would be the worse. So this is clearly orchestrated by the far-left, with people telling them where to go and what to say, and incentivizing them to riot.
Despite the investigations into ‘police violence’ and general condemnation on the media, it doesn’t stop here. That same night several fires are started across multiple places in the outskirts of Lisbon, burning down cars, trashcans, the usual. In one instance, close to the place of the original incident that set this off, they threw Molotov cocktails against the local police station. We’re talking about terrorist acts at this point. Yet, no coordinated investigation or response.
Then last night, they continued burning shit down. The media can’t help but report on it, yet always spinning it as a righteous response to police violence and racism. So far only a handful of people got arrested (and will probably not be charged with much, given they are always represented by lawyers from far-left organizations and the courts themselves are in on the agenda). Of course, if there is no repercussion, things can only continue to escalate.
These communities have been a pressure cooker waiting to explode for a long time. In previous instances these things get resolved by the government giving them more money, benefits or relocating certain groups (gangs and their families) to different, and newly constructed, neighborhoods, all paid for by the taxpayer of course - that they proceed to turn into another ghetto.
But this was before the open race baiting and hatred of the native Portuguese being promoted day and night by the far left. The narrative is the same one observed in other countries, and it’s reaching an extreme: we are all racists and all the problems of these communities are caused by this racism. We all know where this victim mentality and the identification of the native ‘oppressors’ leads. It’s hard to go back to the ‘poverty’ argument and associated solutions once you’ve convinced people it’s not actually money and resources they need, but race-revenge, and if they can subjugate the natives, everything will be solved.
Meanwhile, corruption scandals keep popping up from every area of influence in Portuguese society, in which the far-left is very heavily involved. Funny how these riots never upset the rich and powerful. While the black underclass terrorizes the middle class (including other blacks), the establishment runs to the bank. A small dip in the economy, which is long overdue, promises to send all this social tension into overdrive. And elections are just around the corner, first for the European parliament and then for the legislature. Will we see a rise of the non-establishment, law and order right-wing akin to other countries? If a charismatic leader shows up, I have no doubt.
TL : DR – Race baiting by far-left turns to race riots in Portugal.
