I dont think a serious PUA would go inro the forum and make such introduction.

Anyways, i'm Andreas and i still have a lot to learn about game and custom suits (i wanted one since i watched Top Gear Vietnam special). My masterplan is to have good inner game and learn the best techniques like humour, magic, hypnosis, basically everything that will help me drive out of competition every other guy in game. MWAHAHAHAHAA! just kidding.

Seriously though, i wanna keep learning about game forever

That's because we are not a forum of PUA's per se man... we don't worship Mystery or any of the "fuckers" (love that word now) you mentioned. We could care less who you "trained" with. I do not even know who the fuck they are..nor do I care.

You know what gets our attention? You coming here and bustin' out a data sheet of venues, strategies, tips and real life shit that has worked for you in <insert any city here>.

We could care less what lair, workshop or other scam you have going on the side. As such, anyone who first joins the board should join with a humble start and get a "feel" for the place.

There are many solid International players on this forum, and we don't dress with big old goofy gazelle glasses from 1983 - you look like RUN DMC on crack.

Roosh, you might want to have an introduction subforum, where each intro has its own thread. I think this might get cluttered.

Manilaguy's Intro

A generational product of the WW2's US naval south-east pacific campaign against the Japanese fleet commanded under Yamamoto. The first manilaguy (granpa) was captured along with American forces in the siege of the corregidor. During the death-march for execution, the first manilaguy, with Americans, overcame their Japanese captors and escaped their fate. He made lasting friendships with Americans, which became the start of the the first international wingman association. © Wingmans Without Borders.

The current manilaguy carries the baton. Situated in the fartherst possible major city from the land of pearls, but still in North American continent, manilaguy carves a fairly Bostonian lifestyle. Though he has no great war, this current manilaguy, raised in Californias burbs, indoctrinated with US education, considers himself a soldier searching for the next battle with his American brothers, much like his granpa did. He likes to quote Tyler Durden,

"Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off. "

Glad to be here.

What's the deal with Boricua women? Would it be better to head to NYC, or Ponce to swoop some coqui punani?

Bust out a data sheet on PR...and welcome!

Well hell I f-ed up and didn’t introduce myself so here it is. I’m 24 made it into the real estate business (investor), and do alright for myself. I’m no international playa and really not even a local playa, but I’ve had quite a bit of luck I guess you can say. I’ve been to a few places Mexico(always end up in trouble), Nepal(don’t bother trying to get laid unless you have friends to hook you up), Thailand(fun pick up whores other people paid to be their girl haha f-ing slobs), Philippines(my favorite can’t get enough of that place) Egypt(all I can say is all inclusive hotels with nothing but single Russian bitches), UAE(Dubai)(take money and shoot for flight attendants).

I was taking some time to know the forum better before I introduced myself, so I'd start off on the right foot.

I am a nearing 24 year old psychology student / musician living in the deemed "Marvelous City", aka Rio, Brazil. I've known about "game" and the "pick up arts" for a while now, but have only been serious about mastering it something like 10 months ago, when I broke up with my (hot) ex-girfriend (which a minimum of game knowledge helped me land on the first place).

I follow that typical story of the guy who wasn't experienced with girls during his teens, only being stuck in LTRs, till I read The Game some years ago and you know the rest [Image: idea.gif]. Nowadays, I consider myself a renewed begginer, eager for pratice and adventure.

I found about Roosh's blog after reading book reviews for Bang at amazon, and his writing style and content (particularly his funny stories about familiar places and venues here in my city) started growing on me, having ordered Bang and joining the forum as a complement.

Another reason for joining the forum is that in two month's time I'll be leaving for Honolulu - Hawaii, for a stay of at least 4 months (as an interchange student) and after that I intend to go to Canada, particularly Quebéc - Montreal, where I have some brazilian friends and a place to stay. I'll probably be abroad for several months, and the shared knowledge of world travellers and players in this forum might prove engaging and helpful.

Likewise, I can provide some info about my city... [Image: icon_razz.gif]

Well Roosh, I'm far away culturally from the avarage Brazilian (meaning I have very different tastes from the masses, at least that's the non-judgemental impression I have) so whatever comment on Brazil & its culture I give must be taken with a grain of salt.

I have the habit of reading english since I was young, and because of that I am somewhat (selectively?) vulnerable to anglophonic culture in general. That's how I got into game. I eventually tainted some friends of mine (increasing in numbers, around 4 nowadays) into "game", meaning in this sense game literature and theory. I definitely don't go around broadcasting anything about game or pick up to people, but I tend to help the occasional friend in need (I also need help myself!), and if I think they are open minded enough, I tell them about the community. I have 2 friends who were introduced to game/pick up by me something like 2 years ago, yet only now its started to make sense to them (and to some extent to me as well).

Nevertheless, I have recently observed some things that made me conclude that "pick up" culture is actually getting its way here in Brazil (Rio, at least):

-A good friend of mine started telling me about this "material" he found on the internet, that a friend presented to him. Lo and behold, it was Mystery Method pdf. This was last week, and I promptly introduced him to your blog. We are meeting two days from now to have a big chat about "game" before we go to this party (@ Casa da Matriz!)

-Early this year I was at university by the computer lab, busy waiting for a handout at the printer when I saw this huge chunk of paper being stapled. I managed to take a look and it was... Mystery Method. Being printed by a random person at PUC-RJ university.

-One of these friends of which I introduced to game, one of my wingmen, sends me this link of a popular women's magazine website through facebook, something like 2 months ago:

http://revistamarieclaire.globo.com/Revi...37,00.html

Its in portuguese, but the title says "These men were trained to seduce" and it tells about 4 brazilian guys who were receiving PUA "Richard La Ruina" in some brazilian cities for workshops; for foreigner and brazilians alike.

-This same wingman tells of an occasion when he was flying solo and overheard some hipster guys at one of the venues we usually go talking in "PUA Lingo" : "you NEG (foreign word) her first, after the OPENER (yet again) and yadda yadda..."

-I did a search on google brasil about "dating" and found this website:
http://atitudedehomem.com.br/o-medo-de-c...ma-mulher/

So, I guess that, although somewhat marginally, pick up culture is making its way over here. Yet, I rarely, if ever, observe guys with "game" at the venues that I go to. The only approaching maniacs are usually me and my wingman, and some select new recruits on the way.

...thinking of throwing a workshop over here Roosh? I'd surely appreciate! [Image: idea.gif]

Hope my insights were helpful.

Pickup culture will never grow to the level it has in USA, UK, Canada for one main reason. The guys in Latin America have it good when it comes to women. Most of them don't need pickup. They're happy just the way they are, they have access to (better quality) women their entire life, and living and growing up there, with their social circles, it's really not something most guys down there worry about as much as American men.

The guys in Latin America are more worried about making money, than learning game.

There was a market demand for pickup material in places like the USA and Canada because of the lower quality women, and hyper competition by the guys. The men needed something to stand out and compete better for shorter stock of quality women... It would be a hard sell to the local Brazilian guys, when they have so much access to all those local Brazilian women...

I do think you could carve out a niche though, but overall the market would be a lot smaller than the market in other countries where the female problem is a lot worse.

AF: You confirmed what I suspected. That's great that brazilian guys are learning this stuff, but the fact that they're increasingly motivated to learn it means that the girls are giving them "problems."

Let's keep it discret please!!I don't want an influx of trained Brazilian PUA's to compete here!LOL.

Roosh,to confirm what you just said, yes, there are bitch-shields here, believe me.Probably not so hard as in the US,but they surely exist.Specially in SP/RIO High-end places.
