“Harry Potter” star Emma Watson’s name has turned up in the searchable “Panama Papers” database — prompting her spokesperson to admit she’d set up an offshore account for “privacy.”

“Emma (like many high-profile individuals) set up an offshore company for the sole purpose of protecting her anonymity and safety,” the actress’ spokesperson said in a statement. “Emma receives absolutely no tax or monetary advantages from this offshore company whatsoever — only privacy.”

The database, with details on nearly 320,000 offshore accounts, was published by ICIJ, a journalists group Monday.

Shock horror, rank hypocrisy amongst the agents of the progressive agenda.

I don't care, per se, that they avoid tax. I don't even care that they pretend publicly that they are whiter than white with this stuff. Everyone would do the same in their position. But when someone pushes an ideological agenda that detracts from a great many people's ability to enjoy their lives freely and as they see fit, then it is glorious to see that person coming unstuck. Schadenfreude is one of the great words of any language.

Tax evasion, torrent streaming and porn viewing is some things that everybody does, yet society still shuns people who get caught doing that which proves that the masses of people are bloodthirsty witch hunters and utter hypocrites.
