Is Houston noticeably less sausagey than the Bay Area?

When I first moved to Houston 8 years ago, it was the closest thing to a pussy paradise you could find in a major American city. I had a mean streak of notching 5-6 girls in 3 months. Plus everything was obscenely cheap. A quality steak cost less than $20. Housing and rentals among the lowest of the country. Jobs were abundant, not just the shit retail ones, but mostly high paying white collar jobs.

Then the 2008 crash came along (and we got hit by a category 2 hurricane at the very same time, too). Houston's economy remained resilient for a year or two afterward, but it eventually caught up with us. Then SJW mayor Anise Parker comes along.

Now?

It's just like any other coastal liberal city, and it's bleeding jobs right now with low oil prices. Girls are becoming feminist like everywhere else. Thirsty transplant dudes everywhere, along with hispanic immigrants skewing ratios unfavorably. Houston in 2016 is like DC circa 2006, and is only getting worse. Maybe Trump will reverse the trend. Oh, and you can't find a sub-$20 steak anymore.

Maybe it's nowhere near as bad as the Bay Area, as Texas is really the only place in the US where it's still okay to be a masculine man... but I would say it's days are numbered.

Being from DC and now living in Houston for 2 years I cannot agree more, bro. Houston was a fucking HEAVEN compared to DC when I first moved here. It's still pretty fucking good, compared to most cities, but its going downhill FAST. Are you here? Lets hit up Midtown together sometime.

Having been in both extensively, Houston is good, but suffers due to its size. Your logistics are terrible if she lives on the other side of town, or if you have a 30 minute drive back to your place. SF is at least a 5 Nile Uber tops.

Also, Houston kind of blows in general. Flat, hot, sucks. You really have to get a plane ticket to go somewhere nice, unless the drive out to Galveston is really that appealing. SF Bay area has cheap flights to Vegas, short drives to Santa Cruz, wine tasting up North and Tahoe a few hours away.

Houston has gators to the south and NOLA on a couple hour flight east, and Austin if you want the Bay Area pt2, but generally speaking, it's just ugly.

^I'm gonna have to get back to you on why I would never go back to that shithole known as North California besides to see family when I have time. Those insults to this area were to egregious.

My point perhaps as it relates to the topic:

Houston has poor logistics but more conservative women.
The Bay Area has better logistics, slightly poorer quality women and isn't a humid Texas nversio of LA with toll roads galore.

I've grown up in the Bay Area, never had a shortage of women and there's plenty of traditional Asian girls available for relationships. Also, endless cool/free places to go on a date in Northern California/Bay Area.

I'm gonna have to stop you right there. You clearly aren't right in the head or aren't pulling quality if you can make these kind of comparisons. The quality and type of dykes I was seeing in North Cal(not even counting the hellhole known as Berkeley that my friends had to leave for L.A. out of utter disgust with the kind of woman that frequented that area).

The quality isn't "poorer" in general. It's absolutely abysmal. The amount of times I had to gag walking down a street in some parts of SF outside of college campuses was too many to count.

The only point I have to concede is logistics(until you step out to Silicon Valley or anywhere outside of SF proper) and the shittiest beach area in the world Galveston. Yes logistics are bad here possibly worse than L.A. All that means is improvise.

But yea she lives 30 minutes away sure that's cool, but the thing is there are technically 3 different clubbing districts to make up for it. Midtown for the college girls. The Heights for the Yuppies. Galleria private events area for truly rich. Odds are if she's partying in X place at max it's 20 minutes. The problems come in with Suburban chicks. So yes logistics issues, but only with a subset of women.

Flat, hot, sucks. Care to elaborate? All I see is an excuse to see more girls in booty shorts and it's going to be cold out at night regardless of what time of year it is.

And it's just ugly? Please elaborate more you're making no sense.

Austin still has gorgeous UT babes(Now the number one party school in the States). The Bay Area comparatively has nothing to compare. So Austin>Santa Cruz. And unlike Houston logistics are extremely convenient from 6th. You don't have even a comparative bar scene compared to 6th in North Cal.

On wine tasting you just roll into the Heights. I think Cattle Rustler himself trolled the various wine bars and events when he's in for MILFS. And cheap flights to Vegas pfftttt? Really come on man. Anyone can fly out to Vegas but how long is the drive? Most people here are more than happy to drive out to NOLA and/or fly out to Vegas.

Also Tahoe is good for snowboarding and skiing, but the majority of the various lakes here in Texas blow it out of the water otherwise for everything else.

All I see is you making generalizations about my area then trying to compare it to one of the worst parts of the States to party in so:

Let me also guess you don't run any night game?

2. I will repeat - Uptown Dallas talent blows away anywhere in
Houston. The problem in Houston is the bars/clubs are spread
over too far of an area.

It was gradually happening..but a big shift occurred Mid-2014 where Uptown became much less pretentious. The downside is..it started becoming a lot more cliquish as young college graduates would move in with big packs of their pre-existing social circles as dating became primarily limited to just dudes approved by aforementioned circles.

I would say Dallas is not in that "30K millionaire" phase anymore...but the city however was exponentially better during that phase because the college grads that moved in from all over the state were more DTF relocating without any of their social packs trying to relive college again.

There's been an agenda to move away from that 30K millionaire image so the movers/shakers of the city are trying to encourage things like the asexual brewery culture, kickball leagues, hipster art scene, hipster bars, etc which in turn is making women more masculine too.

Daygame at places like Top Golf, Design/Medical District, going to restaurant bars, etc is way to do it now. The nightlife scene in Uptown has taken a big hit however....oh yeah...fatty levels are higher now too.

I need to do a Dallas Data Sheet when time permits

glad i'm not the only one to notice these things

I noticed the shift around late 2013... but yea your assessment is spot on brother, so repped/liked or whatever

The Uptown Dallas nightlife scene is D.E.A.D besides Saturday night and Fridays...

I feel like Midtown Houston is what Uptown Dallas USED TO be today... but much less pretentious(altho somewhat pretentious)

Dalbroker said he last was in Uptown in the late 90s and EARLY 00's.... ROFLMFAO... things change man... things change... #thingschange

He needs to understand that.. hell, just 5 years ago the "thing" to do in all of San Antonio was to go to Cowboys Dancehall... not so much anymore lol

um... not anymore lol

Have you been within the loop recently? You can get to things so quickly it's unbelievable... the progress they continue to make will likely make the majoriy of the area within the loop walkable and or accessible by the lightrail

You kidding me?

1. The logistics in Dallas are much better than in Houston.
In DFW most of the action is in uptown, addison and Ft. Worth.
Ft. Worth is far....yes.....but that is another city altogether.
Uptown Dallas is the most talent packed part of the STATE for
age 23-25+. Esp for white girls. In fact I never developed Asian
fever until I LEFT uptown. lol. When I lived in DFW from 98-05
I would come back to Houston. EVERY time I came home I thought
the girls in Houston were 15 pounds heavier, nastier. There are
also not nearly as many 8.0's and up.

2. I will repeat - Uptown Dallas talent blows away anywhere in
Houston. The problem in Houston is the bars/clubs are spread
over too far of an area.

3. A&M students? LOL. LOL. 9 months of the year they are
in College Station not Houston. Dallas has its share of students
returning too from all over Texas & OK.

Houston girls might have less attitude.....but there is no way they
are hotter than girls found in DFW.

If you like chasing the ghetto element, foreign girls or fatties...Houston
wins.

^Feel completely the opposite about Dallas versus Houston besides the diversity bit(though I'm speaking here on the younger side of things). 18-25 year olds are significantly hotter in Houston due to A&M girls that graduate or come back for the summer. Add on my opinion that Dallas is the worst logistic nightmare I've ever seen.

Couldn't even find parking during the day when I was up there. Shit atleast in Houston you can valet or toss a few bucks for a parking spot.

Currently also live in Houston.

things change man... things CHANGE...

2005 was 12 years ago now! Dallas is WAYYYYY different now brother..

I first visited Dallas in 06/07 (after high school) and that city is "gone" it is not even close to being the same city it once was
