Question about Rio and Buenos Aires
02-09-2009, 02:39 AM
Okay, I'm in the planning stages of my S. America trip.
I'm really not working right now so I'm really flexible on the length of time I can spend. What do you think is the minimum time one should stay in Rio and in B.A.? Would a week for both be enough? In the past when I've gone to Europe, I tend to move pretty quickly, no more than 3 days per city. But I can afford to move at a more relaxed pace now.

Question about Rio and Buenos Aires

I would spend at least two weeks in Rio, I would suggest a month though because it is an awesome city. I don't know about B.A.

Question about Rio and Buenos Aires
02-09-2009, 09:15 PM
I just spent 4 nights in Cordoba, 4 nights in BA, and am on my 5th night in Rio.
Do yourself a favor, and avoid BA all together. The girls are MUCH hotter and more plentiful in Cordoba. The nightlife is MUCH better. Hotels were about 40% cheaper. Everything is closer. The air is cleaner. The city is safer
Cordoba all the way! I like it even better than Rio.
In terms of time, spend at a least a week in cordoba. I could have banged several more chicks if I had more time in cordoba. One night stands are hard. I got numbers from many hot chicks, some of which were texting me to hangout often. I wish I had more time there.
Rio is also great. Beach is awsome. Brazilian girls are also VERY hot. But its expensive. literally 2x as expensive as Cordoba.

Question about Rio and Buenos Aires

I was in Cordoba three times this past year for a month. People are aloof at first, but once you get to know them it's really easy to make friends. My goal was to learn Spanish while I was there, so I went out and spoke to as many people as possible. The best place to hang out and chat is "Paseo Buen Pastor." Most of the year, the weather here is just perfect. There are plenty of outdoor activities you can do around the city and everything is manageable with local transportation. Food here is cheap, Hostel life is fun (Tango Hostel), and the nightlife tops any other city in Argentina.

It was easy for us to make friend from the beginning. We found both guys and girls wanted to hang out with us. Think about it, they dont get the chance to hangout with Americans everyday. But I shouldnt make it sound like just being from America is all it takes. Me and my friend are both young (mid 20's) good looking guys with good energy.
If you have solid game, Cordoba is rich in opportunities.
