016 Goal Completed!
04-15-2016, 11:42 AM
This year I set 3 goals for myself, and this morning I have completed one of them.
Goal 1: (Completed Today!): Take a shower using the coldest setting without shivering.
Goal 2: Do 100 Push Ups in a row without stopping, using good form throughout.
Goal 3: Pray every morning.
How I did it: Every morning I have been taking a shower starting with Luke Warm Water
and working my way down to the coldest setting.
When I first started this, I was borderline shivering with just luke warm water.
Fast forward to this morning - I can shower on the coldest setting
and although I still get goosebumps, no shivering.
Results:
Mentally this is incredibly stimulating.
I start the day feeling extremely masculine, alive, alert, primal and fierce.
Physically I notice I can wear a Long Sleeve shirt where most other guys are wearing a coat.
A T-Shirt where most other guys are wearing Long Sleeves,
and yesterday I was playing with my kids outdoors with my shirt off, where most guys had atleast a T-Shirt on.
Also, I started sleeping with the window open at night and with a very light blanket.
My sleep is so much deeper now with all that fresh air and without having to wrestle a big old comforter all night long.
Lastly, I notice when I wake up first thing in the morning my skin feels like a furnace.
I have significantly increased the amount of body heat I generate via cold adaption
and possibly white fat to brown fat conversion.
Goal 2: Doing 100 push ups in a row is a little easier than I thought it would be.
At the beginning of the year I started with an EOD single set of 45 reps
and now I am doing an EOD single set of 85 reps.
I'm hoping to be doing a single set of 100 reps by June, I think I will accomplish this goal in May.
Might change my target to 125 or 150.
Goal 3: Still going strong on this one, I was never a very religious person
but the Red-Pill has guided me towards Christianity.
I'm not going to Church anytime soon, but a morning prayer has been a nice way to start my day.
Anybody else out there with crazy goals you are looking to crush this year?
I'm thinking that since I am ahead of schedule on my Cold Adaption and Pushups,
that I will add another 2016 goal to my regimen:
The continuous 500 rep Bodyweight Squat!
Any takers for the above challenge?
