This would be a very good next degeneracy. I imagine that the "clique" has made the following calculation. They blame the rise of the right largely on losers not being able to get laid. Therefore, if they legalize prostitution a lot of them will just get hookers and will go back to being complacent instead of being angry. The problem goes away, they get to normalize more degeneracy, and they get the split the right by pitting religious types against libertarian types.
Follow the money. Media promotes porn and prostitution, prostitution is legalized, money is exchanged, pimp/agency gets paid, tax is paid, the tax goes to... Baal worshipers? Who knows...
