Clomid for Testosterone

Clomid for Testosterone

Hey guys I just joined this forum and haven’t read through the post I feel a little bit positive .
I’m 37 yrs of age.... have been suffering from premature, depression and mood swings just to name few without knowing what my problem was. Until when I summoned courage to go and see my dr for blood test. And below is my results .PRL 10 ug/l (<15)
LH 2 IU/l (1-10)
FSH. - IU/L (1-10)
E2. 120 pmol (<150)
Prog. 1
Testo. 7. nmol/l (10. 0-33.0)
SHBG 13 nmol/l ( 13. -71)
Do you guys think I need a TRT ?
I have a very strong muscle naturally.
Do you guys think it’s poison to boost my testosterone naturally ?
I still want to have kids ?
Any advice is welcome.

I will not go any higher than the 25mg ed until I get labs done at the 30 day mark, at which time I will assess everything.
Because this Clomiphene therapy seems to be working so well, I’m left with questions on why my boys are working so much better With Clomid. My baseline LH was almost to the limit of he normal range as you can see from my labs posted above (b4 starting Clomid 25 ed).

2 more weeks till I have a labs done to see the effectiveness of clomid.
Anyone have any suggestions on Labs? When I did my baseline test I wish I would have done SHBG, and free testosterone, not just total.

Here’s the labs I can afford - any suggestions are welcome:

- Total and free testosterone (LC/MS assay. No upper limit restriction)

- Sex hormone binding globulin

- Estradiol (sensitive- LC/MS assay)

- CBC (includes glucose, hematocrit and immune cells)

- CMP (includes liver and kidney function)

- Lipids (LDL and HDL cholesterol and triglycerides)

Clomid for Testosterone

Hey guys, wanted to give and update for anyone considering Clomid, or just following this thread:

First off I’ve been on Clomid 25 ed for 2.5 months. I originally planned on getting labs at the 30day mark, but didn’t. I will definitely be getting it done this week.
Anyway, Clomid has changed my life dramatically for the better. My fitness has gone to the next level - My max bench press has jumped 55lbs, I recover faster than ever before, and look great. Everyone notices, including my women.
Libido was through the roof for first few weeks and then lowered somewhat. However I added 6mg of Exemestane eod (per the advice of ScrapperTL) and my Libido is so high now my gf is starting to feel inadequate lol.
Mood is better than it’s ever been. I’m sleeping well, I’m able to deal with stress more easily and my relationship is much better.

Going forward my concern is the various reports as well as a scientific study, that Clomid will desensitize your pituitary from GnRH, ultimately reducing the response to producing LH. The study also claims that Nolvadex does exactly the opposite in terms of desensitization. The study can be found here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/6781360/
I’m very interested to find out if there’s any evidence the pituitary desensitization is temporary or permanent, and if it would be a good idea to take a break from clomid, or to switch to another SERM all together.

I've had low T at least since the age of 25 (didn't test before that). I'm 28 now.

I've been using Clomid 25mg EOD for a little over a year now. T went from 300 to 650. Noticeable improvements in well-being, better recovery, stronger libido. Muscle gains have become a bit easier, but nothing to write home about. The only side effect has been body hair growth - shoulders and back. Well I guess that's just part of being a man [Image: smile.gif]

I think I'm going to go full on TRT in the future and/or play with steroids to get a greek statue physique, but if you're not interested in doing that, Clomid can be a good option for secondary hypogonadism.

My question is, does your T levels stay elevated at the 650 ng/dl range if you discontinue the use of Clomid? Curious

For a while, yes, but then it got back to baseline, and the symptoms returned. I also started taking a low dose of statins (for high cholesterol that is hereditary in my case), so maybe it had something to do with that. My endo says I have to keep taking Clomid to retain the T levels. In any case, a pill every other day is much easier than injections, especially in travel situations.

I got a measurement before starting Clomid, it was in the middle of normal range. Everything else looked normal too (prolactin, estradiol, etc.). Haven't measured it since.

This thread is very interesting.

I am considering toremifene only as a lifetime natty.

On other forums people laugh at me when I as questions about this, but they will advise natty people to take raloxifene only to remove gyno. Raloxifene and toremifene are both in the same class of drugs (SERMs).

It it reasonable to assume that a short "cycle" with toremifene will not have long lasting side effects on someone who has never used any kind of steroids before?

I just read the abstract from the paper you linked.

It does not mention anything about desensitisation.

I think it's talking about how clomid increases the sensitivity of the pituitary to GnRH just like estrogen does, while tamoxifen does not.

The authors of the paper suggest that the mechanism for clomids action is more like estrogen than like tamoxifen.

@ScrapperTL
I would like to start Clomid + Aromasin to boost test and improve sperm count. What would be the best dosages for this? Would Proviron be a safer/better option or should I stack it with a SERM/SI?
BTW, I'm 31 and I had blood work done 2 weeks ago and test levels came in at 312.

I’m waiting on the answer to that question as well (clomid with proviron) .. although I have started that protocol just yesterday so will maybe have an idea before long on how it’s working out.

So far I can say this, I feel very calm and much stronger.. went for a 4K run last night along with 100 press-ups and feel absolutely no muscle fatigue at all.

Let me just clarify ... I was on 100mg per week of test E and found it was making me extremely thin .. strange I know but I was fading away. Didn’t feel much better either.

Switched to clomid more as a way to bring slightly shrunken testes back to normal (50mg 3 days, 25mg 3 days and 2nd day on 12.5mg with 25mg Proviron today.

I feel as good as I’ve ever felt apart from some strange emotional issues. Having read the thread that has been explained and I’ve reduced the dose accordingly and added the proviron.

I’m not sure if the proviron is doing anything but like I said I’m very calm almost happy. Granted that may change.

Hi. How long can i stay on clomid for, apparently it is a drug and the body does build up a tolerance to any drug after a while.

Thanks

I want to publish my results here.
I am now exactly 7 weeks on Clomid, the 1st week 50mg ed, then 50mg e0d. After around two weeks i added 0,5mg Anastrozol/Arimidex e3d. My Testosterone Level raised from 350 to 1018, thats three times more! Trough Ari i could hold my E2 around 20 pg/mL.
Just positive effects, no noticeable side effects so far.

Did the arimidex cause the testosterone increase? That is what i dont understand Clomid is supposed to be an estrogen inhibitor So why the need for another inhibitor

I've been looking for this stuff in UK for a while. I tried to buy some already, turned out to be a scam so I disputed it with the bank and luckily I got a refund. Now I'm not sure where to try.

Any advice or links?

My T was tested at around 400 after I was diagnosed with Hyperspermia. Today I am on day 4 of Clomid and I feel amazing. More energy, aggression is up slightly, and better intensity in my workouts. 50mg/day. I will report back when I have more data to share. So far so good. Oh, and I am back to banging 3 times a day. Thank god.
