Daygame strategies - walking around vs waiting at a spot

Hey guys,

Roosh recommends in "Day Bang" to wait /camp at a nice spot and then follow the target until she hits a dont walk signal like a traffic light and return after the approach to the spot.

Would you recommend this and why? Are there downsides in this strategy? I don't like that near the traffic lights are usually 5 other People who can hear the conversation...

Approaching moving girls was not too bad for me....But i think it really depends on the venue. Sometimes you have luck and see many approach possibilities in a row but it is possible that because of the fact that you are moving miss the good targets...

So what is better:

-Waiting/ Camping at a spot

- just Walking around

- a mix of both?

For me it feels better to walk around because you are in action...

Which strategy is better for approaching on University/college Campus ? Which choke point on college Campus is a good spot for waiting for Girls?

It's never perfect unless it's a hollywood movie. Every real-life situation is contextual. Sometimes it's better to strike out quickly, sometimes to wait out. Instead of theorising, I'll give you two examples.

I spotted a girl on a street and followed her to see her enter the office she works at. Game over.

On another occasion, I spotted a girl on a street and followed her to a drugstore where I approached her when she was stationary with little distraction but cosmetics.

Only experience will tell you which angle will yield, in particular case, best result. Factors that come to play, are endless. Apply yourself, and you'll get better at it. There's no other way to it. It's like driving a car - no matter how much theory, you won't be a good driver until driving a car and negotiating traffic with all possible eventualities than can take place.

Depends where you are. Sometimes it makes sense to stop and wait if you are in an area like the inside of a metro station for example (or even a bus stop), where there are often other people waiting to meet someone there or are waiting for their bus to arrive. It gives you an out as to why you are there (waiting for someone), and also a false time constraint, e.g., "my friend is late but should be here any minute" or "my bus should be here soon," etc. However, this situation would also nullify the possibility for the sometimes delicious insta-date.

Another great place where waiting game can be a good option is the inside of a good coffee shop with high turnover during busy periods. You can set up shop somewhere with a book, laptop, or just a cup of coffee and wait for your prey to come within eyesight before making a move.

Walking makes sense if you are on the beach, just cruising along the beach by the water and then stopping when you see a nice girl(s) walking towards you, in the water, or laying on the beach somewhere. Walking also makes sense if you are in a shopping situation like the inside of a grocery store, a farmer's market, or even a mall. You can pretend to be shopping (or even better actually multitasking while going shopping AND picking up girls) which is great because you have all kinds of props to use as conversation starters and bait for things you are planning on doing with X item. I also like walking around busy areas during lunch time in a central business district where there are hot chicks walking around in work attire getting a fresh breath of air and/or a bite to eat during this time.

The downfalls with walking is the approach can be a bit trickier if your target is also walking, especially in the opposite direction. This can make for a challenging approach at times if you aren't used to stopping a girl's momentum and commanding her undivided attention very quickly. Also, I've found myself walking for hours at times with no results, which can actually be quite exhausting physically, depending on your environment. If you choose the walking option, only choose very target-rich environments where your time to next approach is within no more than 5-10 minutes I'd say as to not waste your time.

This should not concern you at all. If we constantly think about what other People might think, when they see us approaching, we will get stressed out and over-analyse our techniques.

I personally prefer to walk around. I've found, that whenever I Keep Standing around, I tend to get more and more in my head and therefore lose a good mentality. Walking around gets me out of my head, into my Body. The simple act of Walking around already gives me some sort of Micro momentum, from which it's not too hard to Approach.
Again, there is no perfect solution to game. Just see what works best for you and then go after it.
In nature you can observe different Kinds of predators, who either lurk for their Prey in the same spot, or who actively search for Prey and stalk it.

My experience that has been rewarding is to think in terms of abundance and just tour around opening. I don't think I've ever followed a woman. Disciplining myself to stick to the 3 second rule brings a strong, confident energy into play that women respond to. Literally spinning around and opening 'blind' has brought me numbers from amazing girls that I could easily either not have noticed because they dress down/ blend with the crowd or I would have talked myself out of because they were intimidatingly good looking.
Subways/ tubes/ metros are brilliant with the constant changing cast and it gets to the point where you know theres gonna be an interaction, a phone number, a lot of fun nearly every time you set foot in a carriage. positive results/ confidence/ improved performance/ positive results cycle.

Another way of looking at it.

The 3 second rule: Approach the Girl, that caught your eye within 3 seconds, or you lose. One of the best rules for newbies, since after 3 seconds, an afraid mind will start to rationalize and come up with Numerous excuses for not approaching. This rule helped me a lot.

In daytime NEVER EVER stay in one spot looking around and waiting for girls to come. Do not do this...

.. for few hours doing big dedicated approaches/walk ups every time you see a girl you like.

Always be on the move and look like like you're going somewhere. Even walking the same 4 streets doing a circle is better than standing still in one place. I'm not saying you always have to be walking to say something to anyone, I mean just don't creep on girls from afar like a serial killer only to rush toward them. Walk around and chat up as you go.

1. It creates an illusion that the conversation is spontaneous and just happened. You and her just happened to be in the same area and by some miracle just happened to talk to each other. It feels natural.

2. When you're on the move you have less time to overthink things. Which is a good thing. Have you ever talked to a girl completely spontaneously when you didn't think about talking to her for one second? That's the best "vibe" there is. You can be messy and mumble a bit and it's still OK cause it happens in the moment. It shows that you just happened to say something to a girl.
