Even after living for a few years in Medellin and like other long term expats I have seen the switch from mostly online to offline to getting girls. Of course I still look online from time to time but this is nothing like I did when I first visited. I also had first date sex off of Cupid but who hasn't? (Eskimo brothers come to mind)

For the newbs when pipelining I am sure you have girls in various cities across the country. In my case I was pipelining while living n the Middle East. On vacay I visited Cali bogota and Medellin. The 3 main hubs as many of my potentials were there. I made the mistake of putting too much effort on one girl and ended up getting flaked in Cali. Luckily, my iPad was in handy and started messaging girls. Luckily, got a hot date and lay that night from a girl who was even hotter than the flaker. Flaker lived in jamundi, south of cali. Lots of Pocahontas type ladies there if any of you like that type of look.

My advice is to visit a few cities, get off the beaten trail at times and do what locals do. Locals go to fincas, try going to a finca with friends you made etc. For example, outside of Medellin towards la ceja ( it's east, cooler terrain) there are a lot of fincas. On the weekends, the bars are hopping with locals and finca goers. ( much like cottage country in Ontario) also if you like hot terrain (Tierra caliente) as they call it, head to sopetran etc. Pool, sun and relaxation. I am sure for a few of you who are Facebook friends with a few girls have seen them in pictures at fincas by the pool with a bunch of their friends. A weekend of debauchery if you will. For those in bogota can chime in, I believe many still go to melgar for the weekends. Speak to locals and then decide which place is the hot spot to hit.

I'm finishing up my datasheet, but it was 23 chicas in 8 weeks (with pipelining beforehand). BUT I've been to Colombia before (and traveled LATAM extensively), speak "flawless Spanish" according to another forum member (he told me to put this in size 40 font and bold letters), am 6'1 well-built above average looking gringo with blue eyes. I agree with this. I've gone on the record here saying that for a guy with good game and good Spanish it can be extremely easy to rack up a tremendous amount of notches in Colombia. I've done it, and I've seen newgame, LINUX, and VanCity do it firsthand (Cr33pin was well on his way, but bailed to Eastern Europe). That said, if you're relying on Tinder/ColombianCupid you should be fine with knowing you're banging the same gringo chasers a dozen other guys have banged before you.

When it comes however to the really top quality girls that everyone drools about when they think of Colombia, the bodytech dimepieces Tomtud is referring to, that is something else entirely. I've never pulled a girl higher than an 8 in Colombia, and the overwhelming majority have been 6-7s.

To break into that upper echelon you're going to need some combination of money, looks, status, and above all social circle. For the average guy on a short term trip to Medellin I'd suggest trying your luck with daygame, online, and nightlife to pull a few respectable girls, and then if you still have the itch hit up La Isla or Fase II on your last night and bang the type of Colombiana you've been dreaming about all along.

A lot of guys would be extremely turned off by a girl who'd banged 50 gringos beforehand. Others wouldn't care. To each his own.

And in 3+ years in the country I could probably count on one hand the number of foreigners I've seen pull an 8 (on my admittedly tough scale) without speaking good Spanish, and those guys were to a man either extremely good looking or splashing tons of cash. 6-7s is a different story, but even then without Spanish you won't do better than you would back home.

Colombia is just like any country where for a normal guy (not famous) and who is viewed as a "tourist" it's hard to bang out upper echelon girls.

Brazil is better. Way fewer flakes and girls who are more emotional. loyal and caring. And I would say girls in Brazil, in general, are more willing to fuck on the first date. Though it depends on the city in both countries.
But in Brazil you never miss Colombia, and in Colombia you always miss Brazil. I like both nonetheless.

As I aforementioned in a recent post how many of you guys even got a haircut in Colombia? (Much like Linux did in this last post) even if you are there a few weeks, get a trim, don't just rely on a small portion of the population (online dating) to get girls. Go get a dental cleaning etc. Make friends at the minimum with those working at the clinic or wherever. Then hopefully you can call him or her to bring their hot cousin or friends when you go out that Friday etc. It's dirt cheap. To be fair, a few guys cannot pick up without it. Use it but I'm telling you that you are missing out on the vast majority.

Make local friends, be the guy in those mixed groups that you see at the booths and tables. Luckily I worked there. Salary wasn't the greatest but after making bank in the Middle East I said to myself time to enjoy life a bit.

Colombia isn't everybody's cup of tea. Keep an open mind and enjoy yourself. dont be a cheapskate but don't be a pushover in the wallet either.

Good thread. I always use the term "layers" when talking about Colombia. I think some of us have been able to be exposed to deeper layers of this country than others. I have seen a progression in certain posters that got past the initial layer and have really seen a whole other side of this amazing country and culture.

Again I am by far not an expert on this country but luckily due to living and working here going on 4 years, I feel I have been exposed to certain events and experiences a two week millionaire or short time visitor would most likely not be able to experience.

As far as the tinder/cc options......I agree the online route is a very "low hanging fruit" route. Force yourself into some safe but unfamiliar/uncomfortable situations. There are tons of friendly and welcoming Colombians eager to share and welcome you to there country.

Many of my Colombian friends want there country to be viewed for the amazing country it is.....go join a language group at a local university, volunteer at an orphanage, visit a poor public school, teach some english classes to the barrio kids, offer something of yourself. You will be rewarded.

The party, nightlife scene is massive, and also full of layers. In Bogota head out of the well known areas.....get on a SITP bus/taxi, go 40-50 blocks north towards Suba, or go to the bars around Grand Estacion C.C, Or visit the Calle 147 nightlife areas.....hundreds of bars that rarely get gringo visitors.

Settle in somewhere fun, and invite a few Colombians to share a few drinks from your bottle of whiskey. More than likely they will want to know why you are here, where you are from, how you like there country, how you are enjoying there sexy women, and often they will invite you to meet there, primas, tias, amigas con derechas....

It's really not rocket science....smile, laugh, be fun, dance ....it will shock them at first, but a gringo that is not so serio/frio is something they don't see much!

Obviously you need spanish skills....this is the key to really opening up more doors. You can argue it's not important, but I call bullshit....I came with zero spanish, now I can tell you my "Colombian" experience is on a whole other level....this is solely due to language acquisition.

I also agree with Tomtud....take a bus to the small towns in hot country. I recently spent a long weekend in Villavicencio, had an incredible time.....super nightlife, zero gringos.... I invited a large group of university students 19-22 year old Llenaras to dance with us and show me the difference in Aquardiente from the Llenos (plains) compared to the Aquardiente in Bogota.....that was it......we had a great night!!!!.....

A month later they are still blowing up my phone eager to come stay with me in Bogota for a weekend of Rumba....and invites to come spend time at there family fincas.

I plan on making more hot country stops every 6 weeks or so....a long weekend in the sun to get out of the city, enjoy a nice finca or hotel with a pool......super cheap, and more of a real Colombian experience in some of these small towns that rarely are ever exposed to foreigners.

Again my advice shake up your routine, find other experiences that will connect you more to this country than a smartphone app. Viva Colombia!

I have been to both and I totally disagree with you. Brazil is too commercial, too many scams and prostitutes! More expensive too. Nightlife in Brazil is best in the world, maybe more activities to do there too, but Colombia is better in most areas, specially girls. I think that we all go through our online phases before burning away from it and realizing that its just not worth the effort considering the amount of flaking, shitty first days, etc. I almost had a melt down in Medellin a few years back, I'll never forget the night that three dates I had lined up (this can be necessary there) all flaked on me over a span of four hours. I gave up on it then, and although I'll still fire up Tinder once in awhile down there, I prefer other avenues as the guys have already mentioned. For me, my luck at day/night game went way up as my Spanish improved and often times I'd get a girl's number at the most random times that lead to bangs. Last year I was flying to Bogota from Miami and met a MILF who was vacation in Florida with her Canadian boyfriend, she was very friendly and set me up with her single friend in Bogota, situations like that happen quite often. Online game definitely has its place but you'll have a better experience if you improve your Spanish and get out there and meet new people in random situations.

When I arrived in Bogota I continued my pipelining and online game and was banging primarily Tinder sluts and going out to party almost every night for ONS and the like.

Yes, Girardot, Melgar and Anapoima.....all in hot country.....Anapoima is home to more of the elite private clubs for the super rich Bogotano's.....Many of my work colleagues belong to some of these high end private clubs.....however you can still find and rent amazing fincas for the weekend with a pool and an unreal view of the mountains and valleys....

Melgar has more nightlife and always hosts big party's with lots of Bogotona's especially on puentes. Club Tonik is one club that i know gets lots of private parties and big DJ's....usually club owners from Bogota rent this place out on long holiday wknds....it has a big pool in the center of the club, and is full of Colombianas in skimpy clothing.....

Villa De Leyva is good for a chill wknd, little nightlife but some amazing fincas, one of my friends has a stunning piece of property there overlooking the mountains and valleys....but I usually get bored there after 1 or 2 days... better spot for a weekend with a chica.

My favorite so far is Villavicencio as it's still a decent size town 400,000 people....and has lots of nightlife and is a nice cheap alternative to Bogota. Plus a super easy drive with the new tunnels and infrastructure....2.5-3 hrs from Bogota.

Looking forward to hitting some of these same types of towns outside Medellin....Santa Fe is one I was invited to by my Bogotano and Paisa friends....I imagine the talent there on puente weekends is solid.

In Bogota head out of the well known areas.....get on a SITP bus/taxi, go 40-50 blocks north towards Suba, or go to the bars around Grand Estacion C.C, Or visit the Calle 147 nightlife areas.....hundreds of bars that rarely get gringo visitors.

Settle in somewhere fun, and invite a few Colombians to share a few drinks from your bottle of whiskey. More than likely they will want to know why you are here, where you are from, how you like there country, how you are enjoying there sexy women, and often they will invite you to meet there, primas, tias, amigas con derechas....

It's really not rocket science....smile, laugh, be fun, dance ....it will shock them at first, but a gringo that is not so serio/frio is something they don't see much!

Obviously you need spanish skills....this is the key to really opening up more doors. You can argue it's not important, but I call bullshit....I came with zero spanish, now I can tell you my "Colombian" experience is on a whole other level....this is solely due to language acquisition.

I also agree with Tomtud....take a bus to the small towns in hot country. I recently spent a long weekend in Villavicencio, had an incredible time.....super nightlife, zero gringos.... I invited a large group of university students 19-22 year old Llenaras to dance with us and show me the difference in Aquardiente from the Llenos (plains) compared to the Aquardiente in Bogota.....that was it......we had a great night!!!!.....

A month later they are still blowing up my phone eager to come stay with me in Bogota for a weekend of Rumba....and invites to come spend time at there family fincas.

I plan on making more hot country stops every 6 weeks or so....a long weekend in the sun to get out of the city, enjoy a nice finca or hotel with a pool......super cheap, and more of a real Colombian experience in some of these small towns that rarely are ever exposed to foreigners.

Again my advice shake up your routine, find other experiences that will connect you more to this country than a smartphone app. Viva Colombia!

Man, this is good advice. Once, Tully gave me some of this advice when we met and I didn't follow. I wasted a month hanging out in shitholes in Bogota fucking 6's and doing way too much blow (La candelaria 6's at that. Yuck.) instead of hitting the gym hard, learning spanish, and giving somthing back to this country besides spending my money.

I can tell you I'm a little better now. Settled into Cali in a great location and making new habits, studying an hour per day, and meeting girls in person rather than online. Since then, things have been falling from the sky into my lap. I met a good girl with a total notch count of 3 including me, (From northern Europe of all places) beating PR's in the gym, and generally enjoying life more than I have since I left Serbia.

Take it from me, Colombia is what you make of it and you'll reap what you sow.

Looking forward to moving down to Medellin for a while soon. I'm wondering, if you guys were to work a 9-5 inside of your apartment, would you need air conditioning? A/C? You think its a necessity for one whom will be inside most of the day working? or can one get by without it? I'm in debates right now. Would love to hear an opinion. Also, any tips on finding an apartment with sufficient internet speed? Should I book airbnb ahead of time, or do it while having feet on the ground?
