An apartment is almost always better. The less potential blockers getting a girl back the better. If she doesn't trust you enough to go back with you then you are doing something wrong.

I got some girls telling me that they would rather go to my apartment (when I was transitioning) than the hotel since they'd look like prostitutes.
I even got a girl telling me that the hotel workers looked at her weirdly (lay number 3 in 8 days, so yea they kinda did [Image: biggrin.gif])

Never again will I do hotels in Colombia. Girls feel like hookers, staff treats them like hookers and you have way higher chances of getting cockblocked by staff.

So what percentage of hotels in Colombia will outright bar you from bring a girl back to your room? It seemed like in Brazil it was as high as 50% or more that wouldn't let you bring in an outside guest, even if they sign in and register at the front desk. I had to threaten to leave and write bad reviews on trip advisor for this one place I stayed at on Ilha Grande because they totally and completely cockblocked me and shut me down when I was trying to bring a girl back to my room.

Coming from the U.S. I was completely shocked by this because unless you're staying at some little B&B that the owners are living at you can bring in whoever you want to your hotel/motel room, that's why so many low budget porns are filmed in them.

Sounds like Colombia is kind of like Brazil, I just wonder to what extent, Colombia is still high atop my list of places I want to travel to, I've always been more of a hotel guy, never done the airbnb thing, or rented apartments through agencies, etc., but can see how it would have certain advantages. Is it more that hotels in Colombia outright c-block you by not allowing outside guests, or do they just set up a bunch of annoying hoops to jump through, like having the girl leave her ID and sign a form, etc. I think a girl really has to want to fuck to put up with that shit, I can see how some chicks would just feel put off and it could kill the vibe.

Just a heads up that every apartment, well not the shit ones I suppose, will have a doorman or two. So you and your girl will have to deal with locals at some point when you bring her home. They likely won't do anything, but doesn't hurt to make friends.

I don't recall any hotels outright telling me that I couldn't bring a girl in but most will charge you anywhere from 20-50.000 pesos although some will allow up to an hour for free. Even if you want to have a couple of friends over to have drinks before going out, they will charge you. Hotel rates work differently down there, when you book a room for yourself, its based on single occupancy and that includes the water and electrical use, they're reasoning is that if you have other people over then they'll use more utilities and that's why they charge more.

I've never had the staff cockblock me at a hotel; sometimes they will ask for her to check in, but that's part of their job so I don't let it phase me. I always reserve for two people and if they ask where the other guest is during check-in I say she'll be there later. When I arrive with the girl I just walk by without even looking in their direction or with a quick "buenas noches" and pull the girl along so she doesn't say anything. Some of these girls must be used to the routine though because they have said "don't I have to check in?".

While walking in like I own the place I get by without a check-in probably 70% of the time. Sometimes the next day they try to charge me, but I always fight it and win because I reserved for two guests. Most the time the staff switches over around 10pm anyway, so unless they recognize me from earlier it is most likely a different person that has no idea how many guests are registered in whatever room I'm going to.

Always smile at the staff and greet them. Be cool with them and it's highly unlikely they'll cockblock you. If you're dressed decently and your date is also, there's probably even less chance of them cockblocking. However, if your girl looks like a prostitute, don't be surprised if you're blocked; I've seen it several times with my friends who take back skanky girls or actual prostitutes.

To bring back from a bar/club it is maybe better to have a apartment then a hotel, but when I was in Medellin two years ago, I spoke to 12 girls only before coming, my first meet with 7 of them were in the hotel room, 2 said we will meet public. I think the girl feel more safe to meet first time in a famous hotel, then a private apartment. In Europe I do not think it matters, but those countries are more dangerous.

In Medellin I had an apartment with a private entrance which worked out great. I brought multiple chicas over a day sometimes, neighbors didn't really see much except a girl leave in a taxi in the morning. In Barranquilla I booked with an AirBnB apartment "without a doorman" but actually had a doorman/security. At night, the guy just let me walk through with my chica. For another gal, during the day, a female security guard made me sign her in. I stayed in a hotel (Four Points Sheraton) the rest of the time which was great, I didn't have to sign anyone in.

I just banged a foreign chica last night in Cali, and when I left her hotel, the Hampton, they made me sign in and requested a scan/picture of my passport!! They even called her room when we arrived last night. But at least I got free breakfast at the Hampton.

Diego, I'm in Granada which is the equivalent of Poblado in Medellin from what I understand. It's very convenient and I'm staying in a very simple apartment (recommended by forum guys) with no doorman but it's close to everything. There is some good nightlife here within 2-3 minutes walking. However, supposedly a lot of girls live south and will be hesitant to come up so far north. But after I flew in the other night, a girl took a taxi from way down south and it cost 12-13k pesos for her one way. She came straight to my apartment and we smashed. I've not had any comments from chicas YET saying "ohhh Granada is too far north for me" but we'll see what happens today and tomorrow. Luckily I've had good logistics with my main target chicas being up north.

Please don't go around Granada doing that Mystery shit Diego. Don't ruin the town for the rest of us.

And Granada is absolutely nothing like Poblado. Not even close. More gringos stay in San Antonio which is where you should stay if you want to your PUA stuff.

Really? You got lucky at that Four Points, because it's definitely their policy to make everyone sign in, get a scan of the girls ID, and try to charge you more. I won't be staying there again.

Been a few weeks in on my journey here in Bogota. I feel the need to post an update..

Loving this city. Living in the Zona Rosa/93 vicinity and I have had perfect logistics here for pulling women. I've come to really like Chapinero and La Candelaria for different reasons as well. I love the different vibes each zone has. In my opinion I think this is a great city for partying and guys who like nightlife. The sheer number of approachable chicas amazes me every single day. If it was just a bit more tropical/warmer and the altitude wasn't so high, i don't think I would ever leave.

I think what I like most is the variety you can get here in Bogota. The Rolas are great of course, but there are all sorts of great looking types of chicas. Afro-caribe, Morenas, Paisas, Plasticos, Chicas with more Selva genetics. A certified smorgasbord of Latinas. Other guys will have the answer to this as I don't, but is this the most diverse city for Latinas in the world? Maybe Rio or Sao Paulo match this?

For a Latina lover, it's easy to get starry eyed but you need to come here with some game or you will get taken for a ride. It took me a few days to really get started and get my bearings... Sifting through a lot of flakes, dead-ends, prepagos, etc. Good thing there is a seemingly endless number of good prospects for the taking to counterbalance this all out. I'm very happy here. Colombianas really know how to fuck and please a man when you've won them over. It's almost scary think about what they've done or how they've come to learn these skills.

I must admit coming straight from Peru my game was a bit rusty. I was on autopilot with the Peruanas as I had it my way at every whim. I also have the belief that most Peruanas have the IQ of a small child and really never thought they were capable of pulling any stunts. Not so here, these girls are very savvy and you need to be aware as to the reality of this situation. A bunch of guys have asked me to break down Lima v. Bogota.. I've basically got the post formulated from all the discussions I've had, I think I'll drop that in my Lima thread and not sour this one as most guys who like Colombia probably don't give a fuck about Peru. As for me, I like both cities and the girls for different reasons.

Anyways, life is good here, got my little massage therapist coming over after my workout to give me some tender loving care. Viva Colombia [Image: heart.gif]

Of girls that came in the evening or later (2 girls but 3 different times) none slept over the whole night, but one time she stayed till like 3am...? That sucks though, I guess I got lucky. I had tipped one of the security guys 10K for changing my sheets at night because a girl had squirted all over it (Freddy_1 thought it was disgusting), maybe that's why he let other chicas through.

I got this e-mail from Four Points Sheraton:

Thanks for contacting us, I inform you that if you book for two people (you and companion ) can enter a daily companion, should be aware that not to generate additional charges, each passenger must make your check in and check out at reception ( 1 guide for night at no extra charge ) , the third person has a value of COP $ 70,000 plus tax .

So you recomend me to stay there, it is safe area, some good nightlife around too?
But if you pay taxi for the girl, and say she can stay for the night, then it should be fine I think. But is San Antonio more close to the south then Grananda?

How long are you in Cali btw? I will be there from 17 to 24 july

I will start my trip in Medellin, I was there last time and stayed next to Parque Lleras, so if Granada is similar, then it should be very nice.

Diego, to clarify, the Four Points was in Barranquilla, but I only stayed there for a few days after I extended my trip (and kept extending it daily) and left my AirBnB. There are definitely cheaper options near Parque Washington, and with planning, there are overall better options, whether AirBnB or a hotel. My plans kept changing and so I chose the Four Points last minute (I only expected to stay there for 1 night, but that changed to 4 nights), and I simply wanted to have a gym and pool.

As for Granada in Cali, another poster said it's not like Poblado at all and I would trust his opinion. I haven't gone out much yet because I've been banging chicas every night, but Granada is a nice area, walkable, with good nightlife spots. Nearby are lots of cafes, restaurants, gyms, malls, etc. But it's not a place to constantly bar hop (it's not that dense like Lleras), and there aren't many (if any?) gringos, backpackers, etc. But staying here is fine and has been recommended by forum members.

Last night, I did have a chica flake, and I'm guessing the distance played a part. But I did get a last minute chica to come from the south, I met her at her taxi and paid 13k (around same price as my first night chica). I smashed and gave her 12k to go home this morning.

I don't know anything about San Antonio, and I'm leaving Cali on 15 May for Medellin.

Granada is not all like Parque Lleras; it's not nearly as nice/upscale.

You're thinking too much about girls not trusting your apartment. I've never had a problem with this and haven't heard a single guy comment on this being a problem. Maybe the guy that told you this rented in a poorer neighborhood in which case I have no experience pulling girls to a poor neighborhood and could see that it might be a problem. The only reason I decide to stay in a hotel over an apartment is length of stay; I stay in apartments for longer stays of 1 week or more and hotels for shorter stays

An apartment should not be a problem, unless you're renting a basement located down a long and dark alley in a shitty neighborhood. If they trust you they will go to your place; if they don't trust you then you're doing something wrong.

Cali is fun if you make some local friends but the night life there isn't as good as Bogota and Medellin. Granada is pretty good overall and relatively safe, just don't expect it to be like Parque Lleras or Zona Rosa/Parque 93.

Diego, you said you banged 6 girls in 7 days in Medellin. Without any Spanish. Even local guys I know don't score like that. Whatever floats your boat in terms of standards of beauty.

Diego, I hope to see a data sheet that is informative following your trip. Those who give shall receive.

In Cali your best bet is living in Granada and being willing to pay for girls' cabs. I stayed there once and my results were better than staying in a good apartment complex further south and which was closer to everything
The Granada brand is good enough to get a lot of girls on the fence to make the jump. I realize that now.... how important this is to calenas who are not very trusting.
In Medellin, Poblado has a similar effect, but you can get away with living in various parts of the city, without your results being affected, to such a degree.

I do not have time to write a long data sheet, but I have no reason at all to lie, you guys even do not know me, I do now know you, I will not gain anything by lying to you, but if I misunderstood you, and you really want to know what I did I can tell:

Before going to Medellin, I messaged at least 2-300 girls on Colombiancupid.com, of course only some replied me. In the end I had 15 girls I was talking to before going there, like 1 week before. I spent a lot of time with these girls. Many of them I was skyping with at least once a day, and the rest we were talking all the time on whatsapp (I used many many hours before going) so when I went there a lot of comfort was build already. Of the 6 I banged 4 game straight to my hotel room, 2 was easy, 2 others I talked a lot too, and got rejected many times, but in the end they were fine with it. I also took them out for dinner and drinks, and then came back again. 2 others I met in the public, they came to my hotel on the second date and fucked. I met 3-4 others too, but there nothing happened or only kiss.

And then the MAIN QUESTION, how did I do so well without Spanish? GOOGLE TRANSLATE <3 I used that all the time on skype and whatsapp when I was talking to them before going there. And I was saying all the time I want to learn spanish, and I would be very happy if they can teach me. And then when they came to my hotel room, I had a expensive bottle of rum and vodka. We sat in the balcony with nice view, and my mac in the middle with google translate.

If you are staying longer than 2 weeks I think that's your best option. If you need the owners details let me know -I would be happy to help.
