Creatine helps me not on a work out-to-work out basis but more long term. Once I included it I was able to match or beat previous PRs at decently lighter weight when before I wasn't all that close to touching them.
For the most part any pre workout works well for me but I always have to half or quarter the recommended dose because in sensitive to caffeine.

Creatine increases water storage within the muscle. Muscles are up to 60% water anyway. It also increases muscular endurance during high intensity training. So does salt, and carbohydrates.
Were not talking a huge increase here. Many people don't ever push themselves hard enough to even see the benefit of creatine.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the only thing that will give you really quick and noticeable results are steroids. Everything else is just another small element that contributes to the bigger picture over the long haul i.e 1+ years. The difference in overall lean muscle gains over a year using creatine VS no creatine might be 1-2 lbs.

Nothing that two dozen of chocolate chip cookies every couple of weeks can't give you ... and I much prefer the cookies.

Pretty much. Creatine is cheaper than multi vitamins honestly and you just throw a spoon a day into your protein shake.
I don't feel it's much of a benefit to me unless I'm dieting and I'm trying to keep my training intensity up.

I find that I can do a few more pull-ups, bench press a few more pounds, and feel less sore when I'm using creatine. It's not particularly expensive, so it's worth it to me.

Really big fan of the Performix line of pre workout. Great flavors and mixability, but most importantly I don't get the low blood pressure and crash that I would get from C4 and some of the other popular ones.

Total War by Redcon1 and Dust Extreme by BSL have been on my rotation the last few weeks since I got back into lifting. Really annoyed that they banned them here in Australia recently because of the DMHA ban (very similar to Dmaa). How long should I cycle on and off PWO's?

Nobody actually thought about WorkOut Powder this way ?
Have to get those gainz !
Tell them too much, they wouldn't understand; tell them what they know, they would yawn.
They have to move up by responding to challenges, not too easy not too hard, until they paused at what they always think is the end of the road for all time instead of a momentary break in an endless upward spiral

APS Mesomorph (with DMAA, you can still find it online). I occasionally used it as a pre-going out when feeling flat or withdrawn too. Powerful porn star cum shots are a nice side effect.
When I couldn't find the real Mesomorph for a few years, I got onto Beta-Alanine. Does the job nicely and also removes short term fatigue so you can go a little harder.
I never use this stuff long term or for every session. Listen to your body, you don't need this shit but it's great when you feel like using it.
If you're just tired, do a cold shower/bath submersion or do a 5 minute run. It will pump blood and oxygen around your body and you'll have a great session naturally with no crash or chemical imbalance.

I used to take Vega Sport Pre-Workout. I'm not vegan but I like it and it works for me, most people don't like the taste, I don't mind it personally... but now I just drink black coffee.

I take caffeine pills these days before a workout. Used to drink coffee beforehand but it messed with my stomach too much
Caffeine tolerance is a bitch though.

Right now i’m taking:
5 gr creatine
2,5 gr of Citrulline malate
3 gr beta alanine
1,5 gr HMB
I take the same cocktail after a workout with a meal.
You can take stimulant like ginseng, caffeine, and stuff like that. I avoid them because I can’t tolerate them well.
I avoid preworkout supplements since they cost more than buying beta Alanine and creatine alone. They often contain too small quantities of these things, not the right dosages used in studies. Then they are filled with chemical stuff like suclarose, colorants, additives bad for health.

Been using C4 but just got a nice blender and want to experiment with making my own. Planning on mixing up some fruit with 100mg caffeine, a couple teaspoons of matcha green tea powder (another 50mg or so caffeine), 3 gr beta alanine, and a scoop of vanilla protein powder. No creatine as I'm trying to drop another 15-20 lbs. Will report back on how it goes.
I got my Magnum condoms, I got my wad of hundreds, I'm ready to plow!

Why no creatine?
Creatine will help you for body composition. If you want to drop weight you want to keep muscles and burn fat.
If you want to drop weight avoid fruit.
