I'm content with my body fat levels and my build in general, so what I'm working on right now is maintaining my build. How much sugar would you guys recommend consuming pre and post workout? I'm not too familiar with the details of the endocrine system, but from what I've gleaned, too much sugar, or even fructose from fruit, can cause insulin levels to spike and fat to be distributed around the back and gut.
Recommended grams of sugar pre and post workout
Sugar is a no-no.
Alot of pre-workout drinks contain various levels of sugar.
Many people suggest a high glycemic meal after a workout, some say an hour afterwards and others say straight after.
Personally, for me to get to the next level. I will have to cut out sugar almost completely.

What about fruit after a work out? I know there's a hearty level of fructose in certain fruits, such as apples.
I think fruit is alright to eat anytime, I am sure some will disagree.
I would check a bodybuilding forum.

Pre workout? If you feel like you need some more energy during your workout, some fast acting carbs will do the trick.
