"Do you come here a lot?"

"Do you come here a lot?"

Since becoming a regular at one of my favorite dance clubs, I've been getting the "Do you come here a lot?" question whenever I isolate a girl.

Is this question some kind of disguised shit-test? Is there more to it than meets the eye?

At first I thought it was just an innocent question, but the fact that EVERY FUCKING GIRL isolated asks me this question tells me they are all asking this question for a reason. [Image: dodgy.gif]

I haven't been sure how to answer it, but so far my answers have ranged from "Once in awhile" to "All the time" and then I return the question.

I haven't banged a chick yet with the answer of "All the time", so I wonder if this is what goes through a girl's head when I say "All the time... I love dancing":

"This is just some guy from the club... he can't be trusted/taken seriously/seen by my friends."

I've heard girls use that language before... and I've even had one girl I dated tell me "all of my friends told me not to trust guys from the club". So it seems a popular female meme about guys from the club are that we are no-good-rotten players, which may not be entirely false about me but I can't have girls thinking that.

But maybe it's my overactive imagination telling me these things. What is your opinion, and how do you think I should answer this question? Is there a funny, humorous way to dodge this bullshit? Maybe tell her I'm the owner?

"Do you come here a lot?"

Say no...

If you must admit that you do, for whatever reason, you can say you have a business interest, or that your friends drag you out.

I'm not suggesting you lie, but maybe you can use some practice on embellishing boring facts.

Heres one reason: If you say yes, youre there all the time, then her imagination immediately cuts to you isolating girls there every goddam saturday night without fail.
However, if you say no, her imagination will go haywire wondering what you do normally, and how you're so comfortable in an unfamiliar environment.

Why would you say you're the owner when you are not? That's silly don't you think

"Do you come here a lot?"

"I came here to get away from you but seems you followed me anyway." All with a cheeky smirk.

"Do you come here a lot?"

"Do you come here a lot"

Standard lines from roissy: "It's complicated." and "Why is that important for you to know?"

Some ones I thought up:

"Do you ask that question a lot?"

"Not as often as I'd like."

"Not as often as some other people."

"Why? Would you like to see me come here more often?"

"This club is sort of like my secret hiding place from crazy ex-gf stalkers."

"I dance well. Many people ask me to come here often and show off some moves. Wanna see?" Proceed to game her accordingly.

These two in conjunction seem pretty safe to me. I like

I've already isolated her, which means I've already been dancing with her.

These girls are just fishing for your status.

Club rats want somebody a little higher up the food chain to fuck them. Your "This is just some guy from the club... he can't be trusted/taken seriously/seen by my friends." theory is right on. They don't want to just bang another club rat, they want a little star power to Twitter about the next day.

The best answer is "The owner/bouncer/bartender is a friend of mine"

If you're going to the place a lot, this shouldn't be hard to achieve. Just start introducing yourself and making conversations with the staff. You also want to tip well. The G Manifesto has the best info on his blog, as far as locking a place down is concerned. Even if you're only there once before, a few well placed tips get you remembered.

We've already established Samseau isn't Samoan, which is unfortunate in this case. There's your in with a hell of a lot of bouncers around the world! My friend who's white was just telling me how he used my "My cousin Kimo from Waianae told me to ask for Junior" line on a Samoan bouncer in Chicago, and the tab disappeared!

Aloha!
