Granted this is a pretty broad statement, but I'm always wary when someone assumes that men and women are looking for the same thing.

I interpret "backgrounds/compatibility" as someone in the same type of job as me, and that is not on my list. Nor is "mutual interests". Physical attractiveness and a pleasant demeanor are at the top. People need to be honest, obviously. Women can use terms like "I want to meet a great guy", but as we know, they are just as shallow as we are.

Yes, there are plenty of 6s and even 5s on the site. What you have to understand is that it will be a 5 with a "profile" that reads like:

These types of girls, if you want to meet them, are insufferable. They are looking for a very specific type of guy and it is pretty much a Zach Morris cardboard cut-out with a Harvard MBA or MD. And, the suggested "meetups" are repetitive and would only appeal to the Silicon Valley bobo type. Not for me.

Aside from that, there seem to be a lot of "fake it till you make it" girls on here. I was talking to girl on IC who worked for Yelp in the Bay Area. That's it. That's how she got in. She works for Yelp. And at an entry level. Those girls are almost more trouble. Buffy Lancaster-Smythe might have some student loans and whatnot, but her father will take care of those before you marry her. The catfishy girls are trolling for money guys - I have no doubt about this. And you will often notice that they are living way out of their own pay grade in NYC, LA, London, or San Fransisco. Good luck with that.

And back to my original point. I agree with the guys talking up SA in comparison to IC. The girls on SA are out for you money. But, they won't make you marry them to get what you want. IC girls are on lockdown patrol. For a bookish guy with no game who went to the right schools, this may work out. But for a guy with even a modicum of game, this probably isn't the place to be. Funny story: a few years ago I was invited to the wedding of a couple of 30-somethings, very much from that mould. He suggested a mutual friend who would make a good partner (they're often into that kind of social engineering - dating within their social groups, sisters of friends, etc. It's almost like incest). But I decided "screw that, it's a great opportunity to stir up some shit".

So I took a 19-year-old Russian smokeshow. She's definitely in my top five bangs on looks alone, but also has the whole package - cultured, well-travelled and from a relatively wealthy family, so she doesn't give off the golddigger vibe at all. Had it not been for the wedding invitation, I don't think I would have had a chance, but Russian girls never turn down wedding invitations, especially to foreign weddings that they rarely get the chance to see into.

Long story short, there's nothing quite like the looks on a bunch of wall-approachers' faces as they realise they're inferior to a younger, sexier, smarter, better dressed, and more sociable girl. Not even sure if I am the only one that feel this way but I actually love the idea of there being a lot more women than men on not just dating apps but society in general, tough to argue against that. The fact of the matter is that not only are most men practically worthless, they are also the main ones who are fueling the egos of average looking women. Ever wonder why dating sucks so bad in cities like San Francisco?

Because men not only outnumber women but average looking women have their egos fueled by thirsty simps due to the lack of available women around. People will talk all about "improving yourself" but just look on this thread where men are complaining about how you need to have high status on a dating app.

Majority of the dating issues, if not all, can be linked to the fact that there are just too many guys around in the prime age groups of 18-35. Even in NYC, guys in this age group that are single outnumber women that are single.

Most men are not like the men on here or the alpha males we all look up to, most are average joes who care nothing for the modern issue. A lot of these are men who would easily turn against their fellow man if pussy is on the line and are just there to take up space.

While I agree with the idea of masculinity, I see absolutely no reason to fight for the average man who most of the times is even worse than the average woman because he actually will try to ruin you out of envy.

Hit the nail on the head with that one.

Imagine a scenario in which there is a closed sexual marketplace with 100 men and 10,000 women. If those 10,000 women have been both indoctrinated and allowed to "just have fun" and eschew marriage and children, they will simply give a good share of those 100 men the time of their lives. And that would be it. If you were one of the 100, would you want to wife up a girl who has banged 99 other men? Would that be much different than marrying some retired club slut right now?

I would also put in the fact that while a lot and even most of those girls would be club sluts, no doubt you could find some LTR in that group but at that point, I wouldn't even entertain marriage and a family.

Just never get guys complaining about club sluts and lack of marriage quality while they themselves chase the player lifestyle of adding up notches. If an LTR and marriage means that much for you, then join more Conservative religious groups or other kinds of groups where the partying culture is more frowned upon.

This issue guys complain of about the lack of morals can be easily negated by picking the right groups but then again, I could care less about all that as a guy that just cares about getting his dick wet as far as women are concerned.
