Cleaning products

As you know, I live in Toronto. I want to keep my place neat and tidy and I need some tips on some good cleaning products that I can use to clean up stains and clean the bathroom, toilet without killing it with the elbow grease.

There also seems to be some stubborn stains on the cupboard doors and oven door that doesn't come off easily.

Do you guys have any tips (please be Canada specific as I cannot get American stuff here)? I'd prefer it natural if possible. I've been trying baking soda but apart from the armpits, it's not the be-all and end all when it comes to mopping the floor.

All input is appreciated.

Thank you,

Dont know if its available for you but Clorox CleanUp is great stuff. Its essentially diluted bleach with some other cleaners in it and works on damn near everything.

Formula 409-American but I'm pretty sure I've seen it in convenience stores in Toronto. Spray & Wash also works great for stains on clothes and sheets; basically any fabric.

The key is do not go "cheap" with the products. Cleaning products are one of the few areas where the brand names usually have better quality. No need getting that "Formula 209" and you have to scrub until you pull a muscle when the real Formula 409 basically dilutes the dirt on spray contact.

I've been hearing that what baking soda is to armpits, nuts, and teeth, vinegar is to floors, counters, and stubborn stains. I'm not joking. I'm assuming they sell white vinegar in Canada. [Image: icon_razz.gif]

It's natural, cheap, and (apparently) bomb. I've been meaning to try it, but haven't had the chance yet. Check it out for yourself:

I feel like weeping..it's like we are telepathic! I did some research yesterday and read some good reviews on white vinegar. Picked up a bottle of double strength white vinegar. I went to work on my floors, cupboard doors and bathroom and shyt is sparkling right now.

And I read this post in here to confirm my research..LOL!

I have a lizard coming over sometime this week (either today or tomorrow) and I want to make her feel comfortable before I go up in her ribs.
