I bought a $10 trial of Martin Armstrong's Ask-Socrates program.

It appears to be a continuation of his "computer" modeling system he always references in his posts. The data looks interesting coming from it, but i'm still somewhat confused how it is all used.

Has anyone else given this a go? Is it worth the $150 a year fee?

Armstrong strikes me as a snake oil salesman. He claims to be able to predict events with pinpoint accuracy while relying on esoteric models that are hidden behind a black box algorithm. For months, if not years, he was talking up 10/30/15 as a major turning point, yet nothing major happened that I can think of.

I suppose that ultimately time will tell if it's really worth it. I'd be interested to hear how your trial run goes, and I'll be keeping an open mind.

I think you mean his September 30th turning point which if I recall correctly was the exact day that Russia decided to enter into the Syria conflict.

A lot of what he writes comes off as astrology-esque in that the predictive ability of his "system" will tell us that on a particular day something will happen. He doesn't make any claims as to exactly what will happen just that something will happen.

My trial recently ran out so i'm no longer using it. The way it is set up right now is more geared towards long term investors as opposed to day traders. But there's a killer feature in the day trading system that I personally feel is just as useful for long term investors.

The computer breaks down trends from a daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly perspective. It takes a cross section look at the markets and economies of the three major continents. Right now it only tracks major indices, but in time he claims it will be able to track everything. At times the analyses comes off as contradictory, but it took me a bit of time to figure out what the explanation was telling me. Basically saying the monthly trend is in a decline, but that we may be preparing to rally long term.

I'm waiting for him to release the day trader "reversals" feature that will tell you when trends will change. He said it should be available jan 1st, so still waiting.

yes. I've got the trader level system trial active, and I've been extremely impressed with it. Just keep in mind that it's very different from something like a Bloomberg terminal in that it doesn't show specific company information yet nor will it analyze financial information. It's strictly a technical analysis system.

Funny you should mention that. Notice also, that period of time was when Trump's campaign took off.....and when the migrant "invasion" started being an issue.

I also have an acquaintance who is deep into esoteric and occult study(very into conspiracy theories, but different from most) who wrote me towards the month of October talking about how there had been a "flurry of activity" in October and he'd been seeing a level of esoteric activity higher than he'd ever seen before.

Easy C how did you get access? I don't see anywhere on the site on how to convert it to that level.
