Evicting family

Take care of your family but dont change your lifestyle, have a talk with her about how she should clean up around the house. Also, its your house. If you want to have girls over then do it.

Man up and talk to her, then let us know how it goes.

I would start doing whatever you want in your own house for starters though, whether she stays or not. I'd also get a freezer and fridge for your room so she can't eat your food.

Is the rent you're charging her market rate or is it the sister price? The sounds like she's taking up 2 rooms so it's only natural she would pay 2/3rds the total rent

That's rough about her baby's daddy.

But you need to talk to her, Man. It's not easy, but sweeping the problem under the rug isn't going to end well for anyone.

It doesn't mean you can't find other ways to help her with the transition. Judging by your posts, you don't seem like the kind of guy who is just going to rush her out the door and leave her to fend for herself completely, so don't beat yourself up like that's what you're doing.

Bottom line is if compliance never lasts, that probably won't change anytime soon. If you want hour house back, you're going to have to have the discussion sooner or later.

To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you'll be lonely often, and sometimes
frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling
