Contiki Tours

Anyone done this? Organized bus tours through Europe, usually over 2-3 weeks. Mostly a student crowd, mainly Americans, Canadians and Aussies. Always a lot more girls than dudes on these buses. Lots of drinking and partying. Apparently a lot of hooking up on these tours.

Sounds like a better way to rack up flags than backpacking solo. What's the down low on Contiki?

Already a thread on this in the archives. Verdict was that it sucks in a negative way, and you don't spend enough time at anyone spot to game girls.

I can contest that this is true. Girls with boyfriends back home and vice versa guys with girls back home, for the most part do cheat on them. I went way back in 2001 for a 5-6 week venture. The packages back then had different lengths of tours and options of staying in camp sites or in hotels.

As for hooking up,,,, there are no bitch shields, you are on a bus going from city to city for a few hours, so out of boredom even the bitch will even have to be nice to have a conversation with you.

Just from experience, you will see a guy for example from canada hook up with a girl from australia etc. This is all good on the tour, however, in this case true story it actually came to be that they got married. Long story short, she got homesick, and had a nasty divorce. For the few years they were married, they would spend thousands on airline tickets visiting once or twice a year etc..... So,,, moral of the story is to hook up for the tour, but end it once the tour ends. It will save you a lot of money!!!
