Make Love To Bogota

My second day in Bogota. Staying in Zona T. Although Zona T is good for nightlife I found it lacking for daygame. Which places do you recommend?

Also did some tourist shit today and surprising there were quite some fine girls in La Candelaria. Just a bit far away.

Chapinero around Lourdes and Septima ave will have some action during the day, lots of students there. You’re right, zona rosa and Parque 93 are very quiet in the day.

Been working and some people watching during downtime in a cafe in Zona Rosa all day. Ratio and quality of talent was pretty good during late morning and lunchtime (the talent averaged 7 for about a couple of hours), but now it's died down. Was approached by a 7 milf who suggested Candelaria and Chapinero for nightlife and fun. Will probably do some scouting around the Chapinero area tonight.

Can confirm previous claims about style and dress in this area - the locals dress very well here. That makes me more comfortable peacocking in the evening.

Will be here in Bogota until Wednesday so if anyone wants to hang out, let me know.

Question out of context: does anyone know first hand if teeth cleanings at dentists here are any decent and how much would be the charge?

I've had my teeth cleaned at a couple of dentists offices in Colombia, they usually charge between 50-80.000 and do a pretty good job, some you can do the same day but they usually require an appointment.

I’ve also had teeth whitening done in Medellin along with regular checkups etc. Was great.

In Bogotá I’m sure there are a lot of top notch dental clinics in the north part. As an added bonus a lot of cute secretaries and Dental assistants (even dentists) can be found. Just another strategy, incidentally of course to meet new people.

Thank you guys! Sounds like I'll make a visit to the dentist. Last time I did a tooth cleaning, came with a 5 minutes "checkup" and set me back 300 bucks.

I got my colombian flag out of online yesterday, no money request before or after. Nothing missing from my belongings. Went for a city tour today and she came tagging along but disappeared half way through. That and the fact that she put the address of a shopping mall on Uber when I sent her home yesterday makes me think she might have been up to something not good. Fellas, be careful out there.

Congrats on the flag. How long are you staying ?

I'm so apprehensive about booking Colombia due to no Spanish skills. All I can say is how are you, name etc which is just garbage. The scopolamine stories and girls drugging guys also don't help lol.

Maybe she was just meeting a friend or family member at the mall? Who knows, Colombianas do lie just like any other women in the world, maybe she was meeting her novio and just wanted some gringo cock on the side? Anyway you had your turn, onto the next one, stay safe and have fun.

why would you think that? maybe she is going to the mall, if she was going to do something she would have told you she wanted money after and said Oh my kids or my family etc. or oh this is Colombia men pay for it. Seems like it was a solid one! Congrats!

As far as scopolamine stories this is something I always fear too but i also talk to guys that go met and party with local women and have a blast. I Don't want to regret not going but also I don't want my bank account gone or dead. I think a-lot of stories tend to happen off tinder, and also I think alot of it is street smarts and having common sense when out and stick to higher quality girls. I think if you stick to girls that are usually in groups and dressed normal or girls that work day jobs you can be ok. Never leave your drink unattended and don't meet girls at parque lleras always in the clubs or in the day. I would say if you are staying in El Poblado definitely find a group of guys to go out with maybe other tourists etc that are visiting and that would help too as opposed to going out alone.

I once had a tinder girl put in an address for Santa Fe which is Bogotas red light district after she left. Ain't no fun if the homies can't have none.

Thanks! I already left Bogota, was there for 5 days. Yes, you need minimum Spanish language skills.
I was and still am very apprehensive about Colombia (and anywhere where I'm not familiar with) but as long as you are street smart, safety should not be a concern. I stayed at an Airbnb with a 24h doorman, was lucky that could lock the apt door from inside and remove & pocket the key, never left drink unattended, had us shower before (read somewhere about drug on nipples, on lube lotion, etc, haha), had all my valuable belongings in a locked hard case luggage, so overall just cover any weak spot I could think about.

You'll still get taken advantage whenever you lower your guard though. Right off the bat, the yellow airport cabbie tried to scam me. The units fare meter was hidden behind the lowered passenger visor/mirror, the laminated chart converting the units to COP was hidden in the front seat so I couldn't see it, took a different route than any of the 3 that Google maps was suggesting so I get into an argument with him with my broken Spanish and he gets mad and drops my ass don't know where, got bit scared cus I just stepped foot on the country. But hailed a cab off the street one minute later and finally made it to my Airbnb.
Just yesterday I shined my shoes on the street, was quoted 3k cop beforehand, then was told at the end that it was for one shoe (you got me fella, haha), for one color (I had a darker accent on shoe tips) so was being asked 12k cop, ended up paying 10k cop (about $3).
But you shouldn't sweat the small stuff otherwise you're missing all the fun.

She told me a bunch of stories the day before when I got the flag. Didn't type her actual address when I Uber-ed her home. On tour day was trailing behind and texting on the phone. She also was nervous bc I had a camera and was making sure to stay out of lenses view. Disappeared when the tour guide started taking group pictures, just like that, poof. But yea, afterwards didn't contact her asking about it and she didn't contact me explaining about it whereas before would text me in a very affectionate manner. Maybe she didn't see any weak spot on me so figured was wasting her time. But whatever, haha. On to the next ones.

Couldn't agree more with what you're saying. Personally haven't been able to distinguish IRL normal vs trouble girls. Online you can tell a bit from the sort of pics they have or when one for example asked for "chocolates" in the communication. Other than what I wrote about my lay, haven't had any unusual experience.

But yea, in summary, it is possible to have a lot of fun in Bogota (I enjoyed it) but street smarts and minimum Spanish language skills are mandatory.

Bogota - grim, grey & rainy - I love it. Planned to stay 5 days and made it 11. Possibly my favorite City so far in Latam.

Somewhere in one of the Colombiana threads there was a guy asking if he should do his exchange semester at the Universidad de los Andes. It's an absolute no-brainer - yes you should. Banged 2 girls from there.

1. Girls are much hotter than the average
2. Don't see any difference in difficulty
3. They have money so you probably don't have to invite them for every shit (at least in the long-term if you look for a girlfriend)
4. People you meet there can be valuable contacts for the future

My white friends have had similar issues in Japan and Korea with getting ripped off by taxis(mainly charging extra money) or getting taken to clubs by random girls they met and buying 1 or 2 drinks and getting charged 300-500usd for the two shots. With very large bouncers not letting them leave till they paid up.

That's one good thing about looking mixed is you can blend in most countries. In Philippines people just thought I was a hapa and I walked everywhere without any stares or people trying to over charge me.

It's called going with the fat korean girl who is in to 'hip hop culture' with 'john,' the 'african american' guy from nigeria, lol.

never once heard of anyone being shortchanged by japanese, though the nigerian mafia is there too.
