Anyone on here into real estate?

I'm currently trying to find a website I can extract legit market analysis info from.

Where do you cats that are into RE go to when investigating areas in the U.S.?

"legit market analysis"?
I don't find Zillow's vale estimate useful at all.
For individual properties, many counties have assessment figures online.
Assessments are objective. However not always reflective of current market value. In one county actual value (actual sales price) is about 70%of assessed.

Zillows Zestimates are a joke but at the very least I do like how they show previous sales on a map so you can pullup a place your looking at and sort of get a rough idea of comps in the area with very little effort. If it looks good you can dig deeper, if not move on to another place.

Yeah, for the most part you're going to have to go to the individual county and ask for the property assessment. A lot of them have it online.

I'm thinking about starting off with small properties and working my way up from there ($50,000 - $100,000).
Putting them up for lease and letting the rent pay off the loan.

Any recommendations towards that idea?

What type of properties do you guys scope out (i.e. low value then fixing it up)?

You are being extremely obtuse Theseus. There is no website that tells you which properties will be a good or bad investment. It's something you learn after studying a specific market for a long enough time.

I wouldn't take Robert Kiyosaki too seriously. There are guys here who do RE investments and there have been some threads, I would do a search.

Just keep in mind it is never as easy as you think it will be.

Good luck!
