Feminine Women in Europe?

Hi,

I understand most of the time we seem to think that American women and Western european women in general have lost their femininity to the evil of ultra-feminism.

But are there places in Europe where you can find women that are more feminine and perhaps more traditional?

I hear portuguese women are pretty feminine and less into the whole feminist thing?

So would you say these are the kind of countries for long term relationships or girlfriends? Because I'd say these girls probably learned from an early age how to treat men.

Spain has a very high divorce rate though[Image: confused.gif][Image: huh.gif]

Man it's dissapointing to see north american women going everywhere in flip flops. I went to Orlando a few months ago and flip flops everywhere I looked. I was in an Embassy Suites here where I live and there were some tourists, guess what? flip flops.[Image: dodgy.gif]

North american women are beautiful, but those flip flops.. [Image: dodgy.gif]

España is not like that anymore, it was in the Franco days and after but now they are all like english woman, at least in the big cities they are not femenine at all. I think in the towns is really different though.

Portugal has a really different vibe...almost like a Latin country.

Diablo,
Maybe I'm spoiled because I live in Brazil,but..
I've lived 7 months in Portugal(Porto area) some years ago and I'm probably going there for a few days this year and although they "look" feminine, thin, well dressed etc , I didn't find them less feminist or more traditional than the average western girl.Nowhere near the attitude that I've found in Minas Gerais,Brazil (known for its "nurture" girls, who are raised to marry and take care of her husband).Portugal is a developed country and unless you hit tiny villages the average vibe will be similar to any western city. And 80% of the girls on those villages aren't good looking

Women in flip-flops do not bother me. I understand the whole constant heel wearing/back problems thing that some women mention. I just case that those "dogs" (toes) are looking good.

I live in southern Spain, in Seville. Very traditional women here. It makes me sick, lol. Where are all the freaks yo!!!??? Really, though, it's so conservative here. It pains me to see so much good looking p that I am NOT tapping. And worst of all...to see the busters that ARE tapping this p. Joke's on me. Social circle is EVERYTHING here. And you have to buy into the whole traditional looking type guy that 80% of the girls here love, i.e. brown chinos, topsiders, collared shirt with stripes, and some ugly pastel sweater draped over their shoulders like they are going to a yachting even. Styles are horrible (in my opinion). I've never bought into this bs. I've always been more fashion forward and modern. Which means I GETS NO PLAY here...but lots of interest in bigger cities like Madrid and Barcelona. Come to the south here if you want to experience what it's like living in a BIG VILLAGE pretending to be a city.

I agree too,but not wearing heels does not equal wearing flip flops.
If you consider, women have LOTS of selection in this regard, somehow they just don't care for various reasons...

Haha, ask me how I can spot Spanish tourist groups from miles away.

Opening, you mentioned Madrid...this city hasn't been covered here yet, I believe, I'm going there this summer... highly appreciate your info.

Thats interesting. I was told that portugal had one of the lower divorce rates in the west.

Did you date any?

Also I had a discussion about Brasileras to a Portuguese friends of mine. He told me that Brazilian mamas are pretty different vibe and prefer partying all the time instead of looking after their men. Also heard the educated ones with money are worse than the USA and europe when it comes to feminism. I would love if you could educate me on this. I always was looking for a Brazilian to tell me how it is down there. I went to a website called Gringoes.com to look for info on brazil and didn't get much.

Well about the Brazilian scene I recomend you to read my Brazil Nationwide review thread in the travel section. Its pretty complete about Brazil's regional differences.

I had a couple dates when I was in Portugal , and 70% of my family is portuguese residing in Portugal.I don't know about divorce rates ,but I found the women on an average with a "western" mentality , (independent , well educated, ambicious) , but at the same time is a very catholic country like Spain , so social circle is important, and its not so easy to get ONSs there like it is in Brazil or in the States.Specially in 2nd and 3rd tier cities.
