Best Preworkout Powders?

Another option are these types of energy drinks. Folks are probably most familiar with Redbull. I've tried Monster and Bang. I actually like Bang (Bang also sells a powdered form preworkout). This guy does reviews on these types of beverages.

Why no creatine?

Creatine will help you for body composition. If you want to drop weight you want to keep muscles and burn fat.

If you want to drop weight avoid fruit.

Doesn't creatine also cause water retention though?

Should have mentioned I work out first thing in the morning (around 630 am), so I've got an empty stomach otherwise and the fruit (some berries and/or a banana) helps get my body going--also for taste.

I got my Magnum condoms, I got my wad of hundreds, I'm ready to plow!

Muscles are made mostly by water.

"Water retention" by carbs for example is different from creatine that fills your muscles.

Anyway with creatine I don't have any weight gain or water retention.

I often workout with empty stomach also during day or evening, I don't think a banana will change your life. Your body and liver are already full of glycogen and nutrients from day before meals.

Anyway fruit is too avoid when you want to loose weight since fructose is a strange sugar, it is metabolized directly by liver and it easily convert in fat. I would avoid it but do as you wish.

Fiber to recover? [Image: undecided.gif]

I recover with protein. Anyway vegetables (kale, spinach, asparagus, broccoli etc) contain more fiber and less sugar, and you can eat them all you want without any fear to gain fat.

Banana is the worst fruit you can eat since it has a bunch of sugar. Berries are richer in nutrients with less sugar.

I've used 1MR, SuperPump, Jack3d, C4, No-Xplode, COMBAT, Mr. Hyde, The Curse.
But this one is one of my favorites.

I know this brand, its from Hungary actually and they are OK. Their whey protein for example has some BCAAs fillings and for vitamins they mostly use cheap variants with low absorption like magnesium oxide or zinc oxide. But the specs on that pre-workout seems legit.

Why no creatine?

I tried creatine and it made me look bloated because of water retention.
