Traveling Alone vs With Women

I have 3 MLTRs (Japan, China, Laos). It's gotten somewhat boring and repetitive visiting them in their home countries. Plus I'm restricted from running game when we're together.

So I'm wondering what the best places to travel with them would be? Ideally these would be places where game/nightlife is nonexistent anyway. Or where it's expensive and people tend to travel in package tours where you need double occupancy (cost splitting). For example idk say Egypt (already toured it pre Arab Spring) or something like that.

My China MLTR has visa issues with some countries. My Laos MLTR is somewhat poor. And my Japan MLTR works a lot and pretty much only can do short trips in the summer.

I figure traveling with them helps me half my accommodation costs and keeps them happy and invested in the relationship. I can still bounce over for short visits to see them in their countries but when I want to. Not like I'm doing now to make sure I don't let too much time pass in between visits.

Has anyone had experience with this? What countries would you recommend?

Your title is very misleading. I expected a thread asking what's better; Traveling Alone or With Women.

Change the title to, you know

Sorry my hope is this will not devolve into a philosophical cunty political thread. As I pointed out some places are better for traveling with a woman and some are not. It's not a philosophical debate. Post some ideas for countries/itinerary best for traveling alone. I'm asking that too. Good to know which countries are Bette to be alone vs. which are better to have an mltr with you.

I don't know how a discussion between travelling alone or travelling with girls (or any companions for that matter) will get political or even volatile. But okay.

I would say whether it's better to travel with girls or not doesn't depend on the country. It depends on what kind of activities you'll be doing there, the area you will be staying in, what kind of girl(s) you will have with you, the accommodation you will use, it's not possible (on my observation) to say x country and it to be more suitable for solo or group travelling.

For example, let's take Poland. If I was going to the tricity, staying in a hotel and sunbathing on the beach for a week, that's terrible for a solo. When that's a dream holiday for most girls. The operative word being most, because if you have a different type of girl she will prefer the following:

Spending two weeks in the Tatra mountains; bivouacking, eating campfood, wearing one outfit per week. This is IMO perfect for solo, but maybe you know someone who would kill to get such a holiday so you bring them (perhaps begrudgingly) with you.

Thailand - Many men speak of this place as somewhere to go alone or with the boys. But what if you know a girl who would love nothing more than to slum it up in a third world country, sleeping it rough and engaging in foreign delicacies? She might even want to make out with a ladyboy.

I think you get my point here. If we're going to generalise best countries for women will have beaches, a healthy economy, an active nightlife culture, lush hotels as far as the eye can see and working toilets. Travel solo if you want an adventure and don't want anyone with less patience than you/an inclination to laze about to drag you down.

I'd visit a country with unattractive women, but some sights worth seeing - Japan, China, thailand, etc...but you've already covered those it seems.

Omg ur all missing my point. I travel full time and i don't have to work. I have 3 mltrs in different countries and its boring to constantly visit them. I'd like to have them spend time with me while I travel. Particularly in expensive countries that suck for pu

Chill out dude, don't get your panties in a twist. Does anyone here even use omg?

Cassanova told you to visit a country with unattractive women (so your eye doesn't wander) but has sights worth seeing (a given).

He understood your enquiry perfectly. As for me I think you should focus more on what kind of girls you're dating and pick countries based on their preferences, as opposed to thinking "What places are good for women?"

I just got back from travelling solo for a month (Vietnam, Cambodia, Burma, Laos, Thailand, and Australia). I like the freedom of being able to go wherever I want whenever I want, but the solitude can wear one down. I am starting to understand the value of a shared experience.

OP
When with a girl, I like to travel to places that have a lot of daytime highlights, but I'd find boring for nightlife (non existent or not my scene).

With the Chinese girl I'd visit some places with nice scenery and nature in China (where she can be useful speaking chinese since I don't). Also she'd be the one I'd go to Myanmar (Birma) with.

The Japanese I'd take to do city trips, explore the city, enjoy the food etc in. If she has more time go to Europe the Americas or Australia with her. Go to New Zealand and check out the national parks.

The laotian is the one with the most time and least money? Maybe you can go on some long trip around Indonesia? Start or finish in Jakarta and Bali and travel around to some different islands. There's some great diving and snorkeling spots around Indonesia and prices are pretty good (jakarta and bali aren't as cheap).

OP,
You are living the life a lot of men wish they had. Out of curiousity, how old are you?

Just turned 35 but most people guess 25-30. I stayed out of sun and wore sunscreen lol. I'm not rich but I have around $2000/month to live on. I try to stay in a city/region for 2-3 months.

Things went sour with my mltr in Tokyo. She was ok with me dating girls outside Japan. But last 2 months Ive lived in Osaka. She can't handle it so I think we're done. Probably should have taken advantage of her place more and gotten a JR pass to zip around at least once. Problem is she's like on the opposite side of Tokyo from all the Shinkansen. Doh!

I'm in the middle of Tuscany right now.

Some of the best food, wine, and landscape I have ever enjoyed.

The towns are small and quaint, no graffiti or violence or trash. Everyone saying hello.

It's great to have a woman with me. In this area, which I highly recommend everyone to visit at least once in their life, there are about 2-3 reasonable looking women between the age of 16-30 in each town. They all seem to be paired up. So... bring a woman with you.

I wouldn't mind hearing about what towns and villages you are visiting, and what you think of them. What about larger cities? Siena is a beauty of a city. Did you try gaming there?

Once the trip is over I'll add whatever info I have to my original thread.

I'm not doing any gaming -- I'm with my LTR. But after 3 months in this part of Italy I think I can contribute some solid info for future single travellers.

Yessir.

There are two types of places in the world. One where you need to bring your own woman, and two, for when you would never bring a woman, no matter how much you loooove her.

To simplify it massively anywhere thats expensive and has no nightlife. Though it varies based on the girl's (and your) personality - are you both into history? Then somewhere with lots of museums. Into outdoor activities? Somewhere that caters to that. Beaches...etc Basically wherever lets you do things the two of you enjoy together.

Some of the better couples holidays I've been on were:

Santorini
Sardinia
Northern France on wine tours
Central/Northern Italian countryside (lake Como is stunning)
Seychelles for luxury (but you don't need more than 5 days)
Paris and Rome on city breaks (yeah its stereotypical but if you go off-season - when they're not rammed with tourists - they're both still very enjoyable)

Going on safari in Kruger in South Africa is also meant to be great, but I havent gotten around to it yet.

I frequently travel with some lovely ladies.

There are many pros and con's.

A huge pro I've recently realized is this:

If a girl is attractive enough, and has lots of Instagram and twitter followers it can open a lot of doors.

We had some misplaced luggage and delta was all over it once she posted her disdain for their systems. Basically the same thing happened with ANA. Jal moved us to real fancy first class. American could have gave a shit.

I've gotten all kinds of upgrades and free shit all over at hotels too when with her.

Aloha!
