Favourite moment had to be the sexual consent forms. [Image: cool.gif]

That & that they're still not going soft on Bruce Jenner.

While of course it's nice to see SJW PC culture shown in such a light, it should be clear that there are good reasons why even liberals could like the show:

+ Hillary Clinton being portrayed as a sound and electable candidate, while her opposition is a man who wants to fuck everyone to death
+ PC bros get pussy like no tomorrow - the consent forms are a nice gimmick, but frankly given enough social status, a frat and well-trained bodies and self-confidence, even the pussy-crushing-consent phrases would work on women. They would even sign forms.
+ Another point is the notion that the media is free and writes what it wants and opposes the status quo. Now - if they were free, then that would be true, but that boat has sailed a long time ago.

I still think that those "bros" are being portrayed as too masculine. Next episodes will be cultural and actual war of course, since all cultural marxists are getting violent sooner or later.

But that's also kind of the point: that SJW's are every bit as much douchebags as the people they think are douchebags.

Here's the thing, the writers of South Park are admittedly Libertarian leaning. Plus also read some of the interviews with them earlier: they don't like it when people are trying to tell them what to do, and the view both liberals and Republicans as trying to control how the live their lives. Since those leanings don't really fit it either Republican or Democrat talking points nobody quite knows what to make of it.

What an awesome episode.

Just saw the last one.

Brilliantly done on their part....it taps into the leftist hatred of ads, while still communicating that SJW's are ultimately an astroturf movement without even knowing it.

Just watched.

When they started talking about sponsored content, for some reason I had the urge to purchase some Kratom...

I can see the whole 'consent form' becoming a custom in the west. You already sign a legal document for everything else! Can you imagine, you will have in your bed side drawer; condoms and consent forms... For fourth wave Feminism, the feminists would push for 'consent forms' for kissing and touching as well!

I'm not laughing cause it's the way the west is going and it's likely to happen...

Last episode was so great "PC = Pussy Crusher", and then detailing the exact dynamic that a lot of male Hollywood stars have when it comes to espousing PC beliefs in return for pussy, or in their case, revenue

I love the continuity between episodes. This whole season is a multi-parter three times the length of the Game of Thrones trilogy and it's fantastic.

The sheer scale of escalation in this latest installment is through the roof. It started off innocuously, and then went out of control at the ending. The twist with Leslie being revealed, and then you suddenly realizing why she was chatting to the other students at the school assemblies. This show is truly smart.

But not all is well, as much as I truly love South Park.

I'll hedge my predictions now. What I read from the Leslie reveal is that Trey and Parker are steering this to a conclusion where the SJWs and the boys, representing the non-SJWs, rally in the face of the 'greater evil': the advertising industry. Leslie chatting (which is now implied to be insurance advertising) in school interrupts PC Principal's indoctrination sessions on diversity and multiculturalism.

So they're positioning the SJWs (PC Principal) against the advertisers. This is on some level disappointing, because the SJWs are much worse. I'm convinced that this is what's going to happen, that they're ultimately going to end this with a 'compromise' ending uniting the two factions, a cheap message suggesting that leftists are ultimately good people instead of just standing by the simple truth, that SJWs are evil pieces of shit. It's going to end with a 'hopeful tone montage', with the citizens of South Park being shown browsing the media and not being harassed by ads. It feels like a 75% chance that this is the direction they're going to go.

A few years from now the effect of these scenes - like the affirmative consent forms, will lose their unsettling subtext, because the SJWs will have won by then. But Trey and Matt are two of the only men alive who've done their part and taken the leftists to the woodshed in the eyes of pop culture, so I can't hold it against them if they pull their punches at the last second.

(And I narrowly missed this being my 666th post. I guess this will be my 'Neighbor of the Beast' post then.)

I agree. A good indicator is that the show is liked by SJWs. No way in hell would a truly alternative Red Pill show be allowed to reach Southpark's reach. They throw a lot of non-PC punches, but ultimately they will twist the viewer's perception nonetheless.

Also keep in mind - we see a different show than what the average viewer sees.

It took me a while to understand the whole Jimmy and Leslie thing. Finally realized they were spoofing that Ex Machina movie.

The whole thing with the ads distracting the kids and adults was hilarious, the jokes were also pretty good.

They managed to build quite some suspense over the last few episodes, really curious about the solution to the plot.

Southpark is pure genius.

My liberal friends think this new season is making fun of conservatives ("they made fun of Donald Trump haha"), completely failing to see the mocking directed at them in the form of the PC bros, SoDoSoPa , Caitlyn Jenner, Wholefoods and the like.

Shows that people are sheep and just believe what they want to believe.

I think South Park is on our side ... Shit-libs are sure they're on their side. Which camp do you guys think they are on?

This last episode was confusing to me, so PC Principal is trying to stop the ads?
Guess it will be concluded in the next episode, same bat time, same bat channel.

Yes - as was to be predicted - PC culture and thus SJWs did not come off so bad.

The most funny phrase was:

"The PC bros are on hunger strike. Day 2 without eating pussy."

South Park goes the easy way out essentially not blaming anyone - it's Skynet and a fully aware ad-culture that is evil. Even the presstitutes and the media are the good guys.

I stand by my word - it's more clever propaganda that will be loved by SJWs as well as a few conservatives - in the end nothing more but entertainment and the status quo will go on as folk chuckle about the craziness. The insidiousness of it all is that NO ONE IS TO BE BLAMED FOR IT - all will go on like always - it was the same with the TSA story line that gained international attention.

The South Park creators are not one of us - if we did the show, then it would leave a definitive message and the SJWs would not love it, but try to shut it down.

Zel, if we did the show, noone would watch it. You can't espouse the message ham-fisted. Now Matt and Trey are more Libertarian than Trump supporters, but you can not expect a comedy show to state the truth. It has to be hinted at. People have to believe that they are with them as they subtly mock them.

And PC principle is himself an ad.

Except for where they say "Political Correctness is a term lobbed by white dudes at women and minorites who've faced actual oppression."

No Dipshits. It's lobbed at rich, white, smug, leftists who bitch about "privilege" while living in a Manhattan condo and sipping lattes off Daddy's trust fund money.

Well that was fun.

Looking forward to Garrison / Jenner 2016.

I'm sure Parker & Stone will get plenty of material in the meantime.

From what I recall, they're booked for another two or three seasons.
If nothing else they insinuated - Garrison / Jenner 2016.

Agreed.
Their mockery of guns was a veiled siding with the enemy - "Look at what happens when there's no gun control! Everyone will have guns and will take the liberty to use them whenever they get upset!"

The season concluded with embracing PC, guns being shunned, and a make believe enemy behind it all - basically saying that if you point the finger of blame towards any authority you're a whacky conspiracy theorist.

Overall a sellout move by Trey and Matt, but then again Southpark airs on a network owned and operated by the mainstream, so what did we really expect?
